I Just Love this place! They are always so nice and the food is delicious! They also make the best cappuccinos that I have found here in Ann Arbor! Highly recommend it!
I always by the restaurant and read the great reviews on Facebook and the ones on the window of the restaurant. I loved this place. I had chicken tawook wrap and a fatoush salad. Very quick, friendly staff,and delicious food. A great choice!
My favorite falafel in Ann Arbor! The tahini is on point - creamy and just the right amount of bitter. The fattoush dressing is phenomenal. Such solid, balanced hummus. Last but not least, the staff are very friendly and speedy!

Best Middle Eastern Period. It takes a lot to convince me to return to a restaurant. But upon visiting Star's Cafe, tucked neatly behind Zingerman's Roadhouse, one thing is certain, this cafe fits Ann Arbor. By offering cheap, fast and healthy meals, Star's Cafe is a hotspot for busy parents feeding their children, college students saving money, or anyone who would call themselves a "foodie." Yes I said it. Foodie. Star's Cafes' sandwiches are of very high quality and fresh ingredients, mixed with the perfect amount of natural herbs and spices. They scream flavor. The hummus, well the hummus you will have to try. It not sets the standard for hummus judging.
Mo, the owner, and his son, Mo Jr., work well together and even offer an intimate customer experience. They know your name, they know what you order. You can even make up your own sandwich and tell them every time that you want your sandwich.
Seriously a must try. If it fits the lifestyle of a young, active, health conscious, college student, who wouldn't want.

I picked from among the vegetarian sandwiches, and selected the one stuffed with grape leaves, hummus, tabbouli, lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles (pictured above). Bright and lemony, it was unique and delicious; and it cost only $4.75 for a foot-long feast.
Amazingly delicious food. I got the cauliflower pita, so flavorful and filling. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options. Very friendly and kind staff and great customer service! Will be returning !
Really good Greek salad! My sister liked the hummus and said it was very fresh. I enjoyed the crushed lentil soup, too.

Favorites are the chicken tawook sandwich combo, gyro plate, falafel plate, grape leaves, lentil soup, hummus, garlic sauce, fattoush salad! Every now and then the family orders one of the kabob entrees. I should really try some of the other items on the menu, but I love my faves too much. 😋❤

Star's cafe is a GEM - one of the best casual restaurants in Ann Arbor, with amazing staff and food. This is the spot for Palestinian / Middle Eastern food and perfect for takeout, dine-in, or catering. My family has used Stars for grad and birthday party catering, and we can't recommend them enough. Run by a sweet family, Stars cafe is worth the wait.

Oh my goodness!!!! BEST GREEK SALAD ON THE PLANET!! Their tawook chicken is absolutely perfect and the dressing is different and better than I've ever had before, very authentic... even the feta seemed fresher and better than most. Awesome service, fresh gourmet coffee and specialty coffees. This is the best cafe I've been to ever!!! What a treat!! ❤️❤️❤️
My first time at Star's Cafe! Their Caramel Latte is amazing and Gyro was wonderful, Hummus and Pita chips were awesome. Everything was delicious and fresh. The people there were very attentive and very nice! I will definitely be going back. My new favorite Cafe. Love!❤
We love this place. It isn’t fancy, but the food is excellent and fresh. I especially enjoy the Tawook salad and the Chicken Schwarma. You can call ahead and place your order to skip the line. I’ve had both lunch and dinner here and have always had a great meal.
Pretty good prices and food was delightful! Stopped in for lunch and I got the combo meal cichken tawook sandwich with hummus and tabouli. Great deal! I would definitely come here often if I lived here.
