Truly the best! I’ve been holding concerts and summer camps for my music school, Naptown Sings and Plays!, there for just about 5 years. The staff is top notch and amazing to work with. Our concerts run like well oiled machines now. Their events are great too! We held our wedding after party there and people still talk about it 3 years later. To top it off, they bring the best live music to our town, supporting both local and national acts. Finally, every thing I’ve ever eaten there has been amazing! Metropolitan really does it right in every aspect. We are lucky to have such a versatile establishment in our town.

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at The Metropolitan and would give Tom (the manager/ our event coordinator), the service staff, the gentleman manning the door, and the bartenders 10 stars if we could! We cannot rave enough about the food (AMAZING!), the service (top notch), or the dedication of everyone involved! Our ceremony was originally to be outside but we got rained out. We called the Metropolitan with 30 minutes notice asking if we would be able to have our ceremony on the second floor. Tom knew there would be a brief break in the rain and said he could get us set up on the rooftop! Our wedding day was not what we imagined and with traffic and weather we ended up quite behind schedule. The Metropolitan really came through for us in being our wedding ceremony location at the last minute! They provided our guests with a great experience and helped us create wonderful memories in spite of the weather! The Metropolitan was able to open the bar to accommodate our guests earlier than anticipated and decorated the venue beautifully. There was a gentleman posted at the second floor door; he was at the door all night opening the door for guests and keeping uninvited guests out, he was terrific! Our guests could not say enough about the bartenders who provided excellent service throughout the night- even in the beginning when all of our guests arrived earlier than anticipated and rushed the bar! Throughout the whole process working with Tom was so easy and enjoyable. He was very thorough, thoughtful, and professional in every aspect. We simply cannot say enough about the Metropolitan and how pleased we were with our wedding day. Everything about our experience was exemplary! We could not be happier with our choice to have our wedding at the Metropolitan and look forward to visiting frequently and of course on our anniversary!
I don't normally hang in Annapolis much, but Local H gave me a reason to visit your place last night for the first time and hopefully more to come. A friendly vibe from both the staff and patrons and a really cool intimate setting to watch a live band. Parking was simple as well directly behind the place.
Couldn't have "Met" a better place! Incredible hospitality, delicious food, & great cocktails - all wrapped up in a well appointed package. The rockfish lettuce wraps & muscles were off the hook.
The BEST food I have had in a long time! Medium Plus Steak was cooked perfectly, Gouda grits were to die for, crab mac n cheese was the best I've ever had. Excellent service. Great atmosphere.
My GOD the freakin food was incredible. Had the crab and bacon soup, the rockfish lettuce wraps and the ahi tune poké. To die for, all three. I performed there that night and every one of the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the patrons were fun and generous with the tips. WILL BE BACK!
Awesome food and very accommodating for our birthday party of 15 + people. Great service and nice atmosphere. Rooftop bar is top notch. Definitely going to be a place I will recommend and continue to patronize!
It is a great place for a food and entertainment. I always enjoy having my daughter’s Naptown Sings performance there �
Not a bad dish on the menu, service was great, very relaxed atmosphere and cocktails were excellent. Try the Cucumber Moon! Fantastic �
My first visit to Metropolitan - easy parking is always a plus in Annapolis; vegan options were a pleasure and the food was good as was the presentation and the service. I went to watch Mean Sea and 3rd Grade Friends and the venue was great and the performances were amazing!
A nice hidden gem! Food looked great although I didn't eat. Great band room upstairs with a nice sound system and good sized stage. Will be back!

Great place! We had dinner and wine on the rooftop. The Rock Fish Lettuce Wraps were amazing! Cool place with a cool atmosphere!!
