My husband and I ate there for the first time last night, and it was outstanding! I don’t know if there’s enough positive adjectives to describe it. We happened to drive by and decided to stop in. We were originally told about a half hour wait, not too bad it was a Friday night and busy, but ended up waiting about 45-50 mins. Our waiter was fabulous, I don’t recall his name, but I remember he had a tattoo on his forearm. He knew the menu, was energetic, and very outgoing and talkative. I ordered the deep fried goat cheese appetizer - if you are a goat cheese lover, it’s for you! It had a delicious honey drizzled over the veggies and fruit that accompanied it. For entrees we ordered the pesto chicken pasta and the special: Cajun surf and turf with a Kansas City strip and shrimp. The sauce for the pasta was ultra creamy, a little salty from the pecorino cheese, and a little sweet from the balsamic drizzle. I can’t speak personally for the surf and turf, but my husband just kept repeating ‘excellent’ between bites. Finally, I overheard the dessert offerings, and couldn’t pass up the creme brûlée. It was the best I’ve ever had! Super creamy, perfect caramelization of the sugar topping. I could’ve definitely had a second it was just that good! They have a very talented group of chefs behind the scenes. We will definitely return and bring family when they visit.
The evening was perfect! My family and I went out to celebrate my birthday. Our server, Matthew, was very good. Our food was good. I would eat there again for several reasons. The ambiance, the menu had so many wonderful choices, and the drink choices. The food was beautiful. And it is true, you eat with your eye first.
Great atmosphere, excellent service, amazing food. The hibiscus mule was flavorful and refreshing. Had the maitake mushrooms and bacon wrapped scallops. Beautiful presentation and delicious.
Matt was an attentive wonderful server. Will definitely go back because there are many menu items I must try!
Great service and our Goat Cheese starter was fantastic. My husband really enjoyed his chimichuri steak. I however wish I could say the same for my Rib-eye. Ordered it Medium Rare. First time it came it was very much between medium and medium well. They were great about getting it back out in a reasonable amount of time. However the second time it was on the rarer side of medium rare on the edges, which would have been fine, but past the edges was darn near raw. Decided to give up at that point on the steak. They offered to make another meal and put it on a rush order. Got the Scallops and they were fantastic. Before bringing the bill they said they took the steak that after two times of it not being done right off, and they did, though honestly I expected that they would have also comped the Scallops as we had to wait repeatedly for a properly done meal.
Edit to change / add: spoke with the manager who offered very good customer service. We look forward to coming back again in the future.
The food, drinks and company were amazing! For me the surprise of the evening was the Thai Chicken and Waffle sliders - we never would have ordered it on our own, but our waiter recommended it and he was spot on!
First time on a Friday night. Our server Jacob was terrific.. I wasn't familiar with some of the beers on tap and he asked what I liked and made a great suggestion. We were there with our 13 year old son and split three dishes...the Prime burger, a panini and lobster mac and cheese. All were excellent. I've seen a few reviews about it being "pricey" but I felt the food, service and atmosphere more than justified our tab. Great mean and experience....we will be back!
There were three people in our party and we waited almost exactly to the minute as long as they told us it would be to get seated. 35 minutes at 7:30 on a Saturday night didn't seem too bad to me. (And they were crowded) Our food was great and our server Matt was very, very good. I think the menu has something for everyone.
Always amazing food and service. No exceptions. Beautiful atmosphere and wonderful staff. It’s a regular spot for us and will continue to be!
The staff and food are awesome! Would highly recommend this restaurant!
First time customer. Loved the decor and vibe of the restaurant! Had the Maryland crab and pimento dip for starters - very good! Had the Draft prime burger with truffle fries for dinner - large burger with a good amount of toppings and very tasty! Will be back! Service was great also!
Terrific food. Very accommodating chef. Never disappointed. Try the haddock and truffle fries. Yum. And the steak. And the tuna. Seriously the best all around up scale food in the valley.
Awesome place. Every employee in the building was exceptionally hospitable. Place is designed amazing, and food presentation and taste were equally amazing.
Amazing food amazing staff great environment! We have been going since they opened and every visit it gets better and better.

My husband and I came for lunch today for my birthday. The food was delicious, the tuna tartar is beyond amazing! I could eat it everyday. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We will be back!
Just discovered this fine restaurant and it is now one of our favorites. Prices are competitive, the service has been outstanding. The have a great selection of food and drink and the presentation is great.
Neat place. Decent prices. Crab cakes were excellent. Fish fry was dry (overcooked). Good presentation, friendly service. Busy on Friday nights. If you can't get a seat, service at the bar is great. Friendly bartenders were attentive and helpful. I actually recommend sitting there.
One of our favorite restaurants in Appleton… the menu is great with many good options and the food is always delicious! They have a great drink list as well, and you can grab one from the bar if there is a wait (which there usually is, especially on the weekend). Definitely one of the top choices for a nice dinner in the area, highly recommend!
This spot has been on my list for a while now. We finally stopped by for our anniversary, and I think we have found our new go-to spot for celebrations. Absolutely loved the poached lobster and jumbo scallops. The calamari and wild berry margarita were excellent as well. The staff were friendly, and we were seated very quickly. Overall a very fantastic evening!
Five of us all had different meals and we all loved them. A couple of us had mixed drinks that they really liked and ordered a second round. Plenty of good beers too. Food was hot, fresh, and original. Portions were generous. The staff was friendly and attentive.
What an amazing menu. It took us quite some time just to decide what we wanted. I had bacon wrapped chicken on a bed of risotto. It was perfect. My co-worker had mushroom ravioli. It was so good, she over-ate! The service was great and the atmosphere was cozy.
This restaurant is reason enough to visit Appleton. The atmosphere is cozy, the staff are classy/professional, and the food is outstanding. Get pub fare if you want - it'll be great, but if you really want a treat, go for seafood or steak. The tenderloin on the mushroom pasta was tender and delicious and so full of flavor. The cabernet sauce over it was sublime and perfectly balanced by the blue cheese. My scalps were perfectly seared on the outside and soft and creamy throughout - some of the best prepared I've ever had. Topped with chardonnay poached lobster and lobster creme, every bite was perfect. The veg was seasonal and fresh, simple, excellent. Good selection of tap beer with regulars and a rotating menu. Craft coctails are prepared with skill and care. The draft Old Fashioned us a Wisconsin must have.
First time here tonight and not sure why it took us this long to come here! We waited at the bar for our table to get ready. 45 minute wait or so which wasn’t terrible. We ordered the calamari for an appetizer. I thought it was good but my husband said it was alright and wouldn’t order it again. We got seated and I ordered the lobster bisque soup. It came out luke warm but overall was very tasty. For dinner, I ordered the lobster Mac n Cheese and it was phenomenal. My husband ordered the lobster tacos and tenderloin tacos, those too had great flavor! Very happy we chose to come here for date night. We definitely will be back and will be bringing family and friends with us time and time again!
Fabulous experience with a large work group. Food was delicious, lots of options, shared selection of apps was amazing choice for lots of different foodies, I followed with the wagyu burger which was HUGE and to die for. Of course the beer and liquor selection pleased everyone. The service was great, our waitress was patient and efficient, nothing was too much for her even though we were a fairly raucous group. Well recommended!
