Pizza Hut on 162 E. Live Oak Ave, Arcadia, CA 91006 is super great!
The staff was friendly and smiley, the food was warm when I picked it up, and it was ready in a timely manner. Thank You!
This is my go-to pizza hut. Very small place but staff are nice and friendly at most times. I always do self pick up which to this day I have no issues with. Can't say for delivery because I don't usually deal with food delivery services.
Delicious pizza as ordered, efficient and friendly delivery on time. What more could you want? Enjoy!
Been coming to this pizza hut for decades. The staff is always friendly, I usually come to pick up, plenty of parking. It's small inside but there are a few seats to sit at while you wait for your order. I've had many friends work here as well. Always prefer pizza hut over the other guys. That crust is always just so much better. Can't change my mind.
Food is pretty consistent and ready on time for my carry out orders.
Make sure toppings are fully cover the dough up to edge/rim of pan crust. We see our pizzas are not fully cover toppings we ordered as we are not cheese fond of just areas only have cheese and topping are not on there. Than you.
This location has friendly staff and they are always efficient. The thing is I order extra pepperoni and there is never extra pepperoni. Whenever I order extra pep from any other pizza joint there is PLENTY of pep, but never at Pizza Hut.
The size of the Alfredo pasta is smaller than before, and the pasta is not flat noodle pasta. But they improved the speed that I am really surprised. Over all we love pizza-hut.
Amazing customer service at this location at the corner of Live Oak and 2nd Ave. Super fast pizza pies made at all Pizza Huts. Hand tossed is the best. I recommend the mini Cinnabons as a dessert.
Made an online order here last night, and they had run out of large pizzas (for some strange reason), but anyway they gave me two mediums instead which was not too shabby of a move 👍 I've ordered here before and it seems to be run really well. I've never had to wait extra time for an order, it's always been on time.
PIZZA HUT IS GREAT PIZZA,I LOVE THE SUPREME. The ARCADIA STORE is good people store. DENISE is super sweet to help in your orders. COLE is also great to take your orders and related services. DENISE was wonderful in all related subject to making and completing orders. DENISE IS THE BEST EVER.
Love this place, always busy but keep things straight. Went to this place lot of times in last 10 years. I even make friend with the old manager. If anything is wrong, he will give a replacement for free and keep the customer happy. Really like the guy. I never went to any other pizza restaurant when he is around.
I don't know why but I love Pizza Hut over any other pizza chains. Probably because of childhood memory. This particular location was spacious than the other one and the girl was very kind and nice. Way to go.
Love the carryout specials the pizza is always fresh and hot the staff is friendly and quick
10/10 but did you know izza Hut was founded on June 15, 1958, by two brothers, Dan and Frank Carney, both Wichita State students, as a single location in Wichita, Kansas.[4] Six months later they opened a second outlet and within a year they had six Pizza Hut restaurants. The brothers began franchising in 1959. The iconic Pizza Hut building style was designed in 1963 by Chicago architect George Lindstrom[5] and was implemented in 1969.[6] PepsiCo acquired Pizza Hut in November 1977.[7][8] Twenty years later, Pizza Hut (alongside Taco Bell and Kentucky Fried Chicken) were spun off by PepsiCo on May 30, 1997, and all three restaurant chains became part of a new company named Tricon Global Restaurants, Inc. The company assumed the name of Yum! Brands on May 22, 2002.[9][10]
Before closing in 2015, the oldest continuously operating Pizza Hut was in Manhattan, Kansas, in a shopping and tavern district known as Aggieville near Kansas State University. The first Pizza Hut restaurant east of the Mississippi River was opened in Athens, Ohio, in 1966 by Lawrence Berberick and Gary Meyers.[11]
The company announced a rebrand that began on November 19, 2014, in an effort to increase sales, which had dropped in the previous two years. The menu was expanded to introduce various items such as crust flavors and 11 new specialty pizzas. Work uniforms for employees were also refreshed.[12] In 2017, Pizza Hut was listed by UK-based company Richtopia at number 24 in the list of 200 Most Influential Brands in the World.[13][14]
On June 25 and 27, 2019, it was reported that Pizza Hut was bringing back their logo and the red roof design that was used from 1976 until 1999.[15][16]
On August 7, 2019, Pizza Hut announced its intention to close about 500 of its 7,496 dine-in restaurants in the US, by the middle of 2021.[17]
The first Pizza Hut opened on June 15, 1958, in Wichita, Kansas.
On August 18, 2020, it was announced that Pizza Hut will be closing 300 restaurants after the bankruptcy of NPC International, one of its franchise providers. A company representative stated, "We have continued to work with NPC and its lenders to optimize NPC's Pizza Hut restaurant footprint and strengthen the portfolio for the future, and today's joint agreement to close up to 300 NPC Pizza Hut restaurants is an important step toward a healthier business."[18][19]
