Went for a late breakfast on Sunday, they had a lot of business. Everyone was friendly and smiling. They kept the coffee cups full. A little slow on bringing the food out but they were busy and the food was definitely worth the wait.
Food is mostly made from pre-bagged frozen or bagged processed vegetables. Not in house made fresh. Visiting from outta town family took me here for dinner.
The fries are meh. The fish was said to be okay by grandpa. Elementary age nephew didn’t eat most of his burger or fries. The rest of the family seemed to enjoy their burgers and thick shakes. And, chef salad with lots of meat.
I wouldn’t eat the veggie sandwich again. As a trained chef, it’s subpar. Could stand for improvement. Suggestion, skip preshred bagged carrots and make it with 💯 fresh sliced veggies for a win.
The only other option that attracted me was the salad, but it was a small dinner size.
My family was happy to treat. For this am giving four stars. They like it. For me, three for food. Four for service and atmosphere. The wood floors and tables are very nice.
Basic eatery that’s opened 24 hours with mostly fast food options.
Extensive menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner with basic American favorites and great bakery items. Always open, friendly staff and a clean, well kept dining room make for just the right dinner experience.
Really good. Greats milkshake, burgers, and fries. About $38 for 2x 1/2 burgers, small shakes (plenty) and a large fry. Really great price.
great spot for breakfast/brunch before heading out for some hikes. ordered a classic complete breakfast, and they were some of the best hashbrowns I've ever had. service was very friendly as well. we will be back in a bit for dessert!
The dessert case is amazing. Lots of scratch made presents, cakes, and cookies. Bleu cheese bacon burger was very good.
This is a little gem. Open 24 hrs. Exceptional service! Food is great! Not just cafe food. A step above. Good value. Nice clean atmosphere. Family friendly. Went there three times within my four night stay! Breakfast and dinner!
A place to eat that has been around since 1956, not necessarily the same owners or named establishment. I rate it all five stars? Why? It's just one of those long lost road side establishments, if you road travel a lot, that you can find here and there along major highways and interstates.
You can expect that same quality type food. Hash browns, pancakes, breakfast items, sandwiches, burgers, grilled stuff, milk shakes, and here includes delicious baked goodies, pies and cakes.
Here at Toni's you order at the counter and sometimes the food is delivered to your table, sometimes you need to go get it.
Staff has always been super friendly. I have been there for breakfast and dinner meals.
What's amazing is; milkshake choices, baked goodies, quality food and that this place is open 24/7.
Got the clam strips basket and aLoft cookie. Clam strips were hot and fresh but the tots were crumbly and barely warm. I wish it was easier to handle the tots so I could dip them. Loft cookie was their take on the Loft house cookies you get in Safeway except humongous and less sweet. IMO, the less sweet was a good thing.
I was visiting Arcata for the first time for a coupledays. I located Toni's on Google maps search for food. It was in walking distance from my hotel at the Ramada. Most of the food is made to order and the wait is worth it. Fresh baked goods all looked delicious. I had the club sandwich with a slice of Cherry Pie. It was great and I visited a second day. The breakfast sandwich was also delicious, one was made with a nice size sausage party. I definitely recommend Toni's for any first timers looking for a bite to eat.
