One of my Favs!. APD is great! Great food & friendly staff! The evening cooks seem to do things a bit different from the afternoon / lunchtime cooks, I prefer the lunchtime cooks.

SUPER SLICE ME!. I love this place. Probably the best pizza in town! Those super slices kill me every time. I often stop in here on my lunch break, grab a salad (the Caesar is perfect) and two Super Slices. Yeah, it might be pricey... but it's SOOOOO worth it.

Good vibe, decent food if a bit on the pricey side. Pizza slices are huge and the veggies delicious. Couple beers on tap. More varied local beers on tap would really make it more lively.

Sandwiches are crafted in such a way that it is almost impossible to eat but delicious none the less. Slices of pizza are much better than the whole thing, and if ur gonna get a burger get it one level that u really want (I.e u want medium well? Say medium)

Strictly quantity over quality. I love APD. Crazy college crowd, late-night drinkies, big groups of friends and families all pack this place to the gills during the busiest hours. The menu is distinctly local-ized, with named specials and local favorites. The food is fair to good, with the occasional "this is food, whaddya want?" moment. All portions are gigantic.

A friend flew in from LA for my birthday. I gave some consideration to Larrupin, but landed on an Arcata Plaza-on-a-weekend-night as a more representative experience. APD was great for both of us the first night. The second night, it was twice as nice. They is is local and organic ingredients and products when able and stated, they cater to any dietary preference and dish out ample portions. My favorite is the Adam's sandwich and I feel like it's a vegetarian or vegan form of comfort food. He had first had the Philly Cheese Steak and next, French Dip. I did the Adam sandwich with tofu both nights. No regrets.

Me and the crew found this hole in the wall place, lost, cold, and hungry. Very warm and welcoming place to grab a quick slice of pizza or to sit and relax to enjoy a club sandwich! Beer on tap and awesome art on the walls!! Will defiantly visit again! 💯

Easily one of my favorite foodie places in town. I recommend the tuna melt and really, most everything they make is delicious. Their fries portions are substantial. It's casual dining so a good place to hit up coming home from being out all day and just wanting some nice filling comfort food. The space can get busy and is limited at times, but is otherwise worth it!

Great food. Visited with my family. All 7 of us loved eating here. We had fish and chips, sandwiches and pizza. The tomato basil soup was worthy of 5 Michelin stars! Great vibes inside. Truly a lost coast authentic eatery.

I took my visiting family members here for the noteworthy fish ‘n chips. AP&D catches the fish locally hook and line with their own boat. Best ever! My DIL’s fish tacos were fabulous and my grandson loved his pizza. Note: Fish ‘n chips portions are large! Staff were all friendly. Thanks so much for a great experience.

This is the perfect deli. Unique vibes. Full of local touches. Open late. Fresh fish. Amazing burgers (better than In and Out for sure and I am an in n out fiend). And very reasonably priced.

Good food, plentiful servings, prices are really good for what you get, especially when compared to other places nearby. Fish is fresh and locally caught, which is a plus.I would recommend it.

Nice place, menu not too much where you can't make decisions. Several items were pulled from menu but that didn't deter us. We found parking in front, had a large table to fit our crowd, ordered our meals and probably waited 15 mins.... everything was good... There is no table service so remember to clear your table off for next folks.

Known for large portions, they don’t skimp. The food never quite hits that 5 star feeling for me tho, and I can’t quite place my finger on why. Solid choice tho if you’re wanting variety and volume!

this place is 10/10! the slice pictured was actually cut in half by me, so one slice is big enough to share. It's a little pricey but you 100% get what you pay for and you will leave satisfied.

We split a fabulous bowl of Tomato Basil soup and a Cibb Salad. Large servings and great food.

Food and service were decent. Insanely hot inside. Was almost unbearable while waiting for food. Hopefully they get/use AC at some point. Feel bad for the employees working in that all day.

Nice place has good food, good variety, and portions. They have the best Cobb salad in Humboldt county. Open late, one of the few places open past 8pm.

My favorite here is the spicy chicken club for $11.50 and a small fry for $4.00. The small fry can easily feed two people. This sandwich is huge and simply the best! APD is a favorite spot for sandwiches and pizza, with local beer on tap.
