The best brunch in Humboldt! Excellent food, lots of local sourcing! I’ve been there at least 30 times and have only had off service once, all the other times it was stellar! Best mimosas and Bloody Mary’s! Excellent chicken fried steak, eggs Benedict, and scrambles! Specials are usually worth a try. Always busy, which proves it’s worth<3
I was cruising through with my family and found this place on Yelp! It was one of the best breakfasts that we have had on our trip from SoCal! A definite must stop!
Best breakfast and friendly staff loved everything about this place!
O.M.G. why have I not heard of this place until now? Thank you facebook for reading a post and seeing so many recommendations. I figured after reading so many rave reviews it was time to trt something new! My daughter and I stopped in for breakfast and mimosas. It was sooooo yummy. The mimosas were spot on, the service was great! A little noisy but it was worth it because it was the sound of a full house and people enjoying each other's company with good conversation! I can't wait to go back!!!!!!
T's is great! They've really come into there own. I love that they are always running specials with seasonal ingredients. My very picky friend loves their Benedicts (classic or creative; they once had one with a beet Hollandaise. Phenomenal!). I love that their specials often have lots of veggies. And they have the best pancakes (and pancake specials) around. I've always had really good service. I usually go early, because they get busy at peak hours, since they're the best game in town.
This has quickly become my favorite breakfast place. The food is always delicious and I love their mimosa menu. The service is amazing as well.
When visiting from Ma. I come here for breakfast. Love the food, service and atmosphere!
Breakfast is great! I usually get the benedict. Plus, they have beer and wine!
This is the cutest place. My daughter and I came here for breakfast on my last morning in Arcata and it was wonderful. The food was great and the service was just as great. Inside, the decor reminded me of Julian. They also have a bar that noticed as we were walking out. I only wish I found this place earlier on in the week that I was there.
Had a fun lunch! Great food and great service!
Great food and atmosphere! Definitely going to come back !
Excellent food and the service was great, we will be back!!
Wonderful food, excellent service and some great live music!
Experienced T's yesterday for the first time with my two amazing daughters Lisa and Sara. Although they were extremely busy, the service and food were second to none. And those bloody Mary's and mimosas were like none other. Not to mention Jen Larson rocks that bar like a bad boss. I'll definitely be back.
It is better than the corned beef hash I had in New York City at the Washington Square Diner near NYU. Nice and fairly savory, but not ridiculously salty like spam. The mocha is also great. The service was also great, the person was very friendly and accommodating, giving maximal attention and care. I will come back on a weekly basis here during my summer internship in Eureka.
Cozy breakfast place. The food was great! Service can be a little slow on the weekends when they’re busy. But it’s totally worth it if you’re looking for a good breakfast spot in Arcata.
Arrived Sunday morning before 9:00 am. Greeted, seated with water immediately. Waited 10 minutes for drink order to be taken. No decaf machine drinks, so they brewed a fresh pot for my husband. He loved it! My latte with an extra shot was very weak. It took another 10 minutes. Long wait for food. 9:38 it arrived. Complete breakfast: over medium eggs a bit hard. Gravy tasted bacon bases, sweeter than the average sausage gravy. No jam offered. Bacon tasty, but small cut portion. Side potatoes were good, crispy, and a great vehicle for the organic catsup to get into your mouth! The corned beef Benedict gets a mixed review. The eggs were poached perfectly. But the hollandaise sauce was flavorless and skimpy. The kale green were tender, someone stayed up late massaging the greens! The corned beef hash had very little flavor. When you're salting the corned beef for taste, something is wrong. Cottage cheese side option is nice, served in a small glass jar. Our bill before tax was just shy of $50.
The location is historic for Arcata. My husband's good friend's mother cooked in the "Tower" in the 60's. Take time to appreciate the curve glass windows in the Tower, and the overall architecture of the building. The rooms and tables are comfortable, but those chairs! They make the wait hard to endure. I had to take walks around and outside. The bathroom is spacious and clean.
My favorite brunch spot in Humboldt County!
Great, diverse menu of super tasty food. Live all the Benedict plates and the chorizo breakfasts! The have a whole menu of various interesting mimosa cocktails. Very lively, fun environment with lots of vibes!
Great and efficient staff. Usually a 10-20 minute wait on weekends, but well worth it. Have breakfast specials every day of weekend too.
Delicious and fun! Highly recommended!
I had a pleasant experience. I didn't ask for anything fancy but it was all good. Two slices of meaty bacon well cooked, scrambled eggs, coffee hot and flavorful and tasty home fries. Fair price, good size portion and my server had a ready smile.
Hands down would recommend for anyone! T's North is one of the most homey vibes I got while traveling for a long while. Had their pancakes, soy sausage, and eggs with coffee which was all flavorful and enjoyable. The staff is also amazing, I sat at the bar and the person working the bar area and I had a good conversation about places to visit while in Humboldt and the service was speedy too! Thank you and hope everyone who visits enjoys
**Also, it is great to go to especially while waiting for the Farmer's Market at the Plaza to start up on Saturdays😉
Yum!
Everything was just what we wanted. You can't really go wrong with anything ordered off the menu and with all the non-meat alternatives, there's something for everyone.
Just be ready to wait for a table because even on the weekdays, this place is pretty popular.
Amazing food. I usually have to leave the area or make reservations to find a breakfast like this. Try the mimosas and the stuffed French toast. Their chicken fried steak is hand made, something I haven't seen in years.
This os the ultimate local cafe. Breakfast and brunch are always always consistently good. The mimosa choices are unmatched and made with fresh fruits and so it is always a treat. All the food is locally sourced and the honey glazed bacon is not to be missed . It is always busy but bat seating is available. Sandwiches are always good. Take a friend and enjoy!!
Arrive before 10 if you prefer not to wait in line to be seated. They are busy for good reason.
All the wait staff are extremely attentive nevet allowing my coffee cup to run dry. From what I could gather, nearly all the menu items were prepared from fresh, local ingredients. The portions were large and flavorful.
Even the condiments were better than your average diner, offering organic catsup from Portland and healthful Himalayan pink salt. It would not surprise me if the smoked salmon was sourced locally as well.
T's is kid friendly too, with a whole shelving unit devoted to toys. High chairs are also available.
Minor dings, my companion ordered home fries and was served hash browns, the Swiss cheese was not in evidence in my omlette, and the seats are hard, cold, uncomfortable metal.
But the overall dining experience far outshined any small inconveniences. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a healthful, hearty and flavorful breakfast.
What a great breakfast spot! The menu had a ton of choices including vegeterian sausage from a local tofu shop ( sooo good). The server was wonderful and did her best to accommodate our busy toddler. Everything was delicious!
I had crab cakes Benedict. It was heavenly. No filler. The eggs were poached medium perfectly. Potatoes cooked right. All four of us enjoyed what we ordered. The atmosphere was very loud. I would still go back because the food is outstanding.
Beautiful old world charm . Food
Quality was fantastic. Breakfast lunch or dinner would be awesome here. Great friendly staff.
Food was amazing! I had the eggs Benedict with chicken fried steak and my partner had the chicken fried steak with eggs. It was all so warm and tasty and delicious! Even the orange juice was tasty and fresh! The service was amazing and quick too. Will return when we’re back in town!
Arcata is a small community, so it's nice to find places like this peppered in a small town. The food is prepared well and meets expectations for the style of dining provided. Service was also good, and the atmosphere is modern which serves its large academic customer base well. I always have a hard time giving 4s to places like this because compared to cheaper dining options this is definitely a 5, but I never eat at places like that, so my ratings are purely a comparison starting from a root of equity.
Only place around that's open 24 hours. Sometimes the lines are long but it's worth the wait. The baked goods are top notch. Great food!
