Love love love this place! It's right down the street from my house to its my go to for quick and easy dinner. Burritos are huge, kids meals are cheap, and the papusas are yummy!
Great Hot Latin Treat Mills River. Had a great meal today at Mary's it was a cold day out side ,but the food was hot and tasty inside. The music was nice and the owner was nice. We talked about future things and I think It will be a great place to go with the Family or date night. The Guacamole was great and cool I loved the salsa too.
My family has been driving past this restaurant for years, wondering how it was but never driving by at a time when we needed to eat and not thinking to make it a destination for a meal. What fools we were! This place is absolutely amazing!
The have some of the best chicken wings that I have ever eaten. We had the Mango Habenero and it was just a really good sweet heat that was not too hot for anyone. Maybe the best wings in the area.
The burrito combos were also a huge hit. The burritos were fantastic and the queso and chips were some of the best that we've ever had. We look forward to returning again, soon.
Five Stars! Fantastic El Salvadorian food, give the variety plate a try, it's delicious. I really enjoyed the enchiladas. Pick your filling, there's a lot of variety and a great salsa bar with some good heat.
the build your own style (like Chipotle) burrito bar is delicious, Coca-Cola fountain soda and Jarritos in the cooler.
This is hidden jem in our area. Great food and service. I'm always treated nicely by the staff and owner. He always hello my friend to me. Great place to eat.
They have fried plantains, sooo delicious! I got a couple of orders and the gentleman brought them out to the car as I had a hurt knee. They always have excellent food and love the customized burritos.
This place has a burrito counter much like a Subway. Yet, the ingredients are authentic. They also have a vast menu of El Salvadoran cuisine.
Great food here and portions are very generous. Beer was good, matched up with a great burrito and queso. Would go back for sure.
I live around the corner, and I come to Mary’s on a weekly basis. I’m greeted every week by the enthusiastic manager who is very kind and always takes great care of me and my friends. And the food hits the spot every time. Couldn’t ask for a better neighborhood establishment

The Super Mary sampler comes with pupusa, tamale, yuca, plantains, and chicharrones.
I got the mixed meat for the pupusa - it's highly recommended, and with the salsa bar, it's amazing. The chicken tamale was good. But the best was the chicharrones - they were crispy, moist, and the sauce was great.
My girlfriend got the grilled fish, which was really tender and moist.
Also, there are salsa bar selection is really good. I have the tomatillo and smoked chipotle sauces.
This is a hole in the wall mexican restaurant. It has a salsa bar. I ordered the fish meal and had grilled tilapia that was very good and fresh.
The atmosphere is super low key, dark, wood tables and booths with some TVs. This isn't a place you go for the ambience.
OMG this is the burrito I've been looking for! Hefty walking-around burrito, made with love and fresh ingredients! Meat was cooked to order, and the burrito was neither too heavy nor too light on arroz y frijoles, with the proper proportions of all the goodies. The service was phenomenal- fast and friendly, with just the right amount of banter. We'll definitely be back.
Tried the pupusas! Bean was the best. Tacos were good but beef was heavy in seasoning. Pick and cheese dip were also tasty.
Wow! Let me start off by saying I’ve never had a papusa or el Salvadoran food but I’m a fan now! What a great local family owned spot. If I lived here full time I’d be a happy camper with this place only 2 miles away. I will definitely be stopping here again before I go home next week.
The yuca, plantains, slaw, pork, and papusas were all cooked perfect and tasted amazing but the star of the show for me was the el Salvadoran style tamale! Holy smokes it was so good! As the man working there said it’s good because it’s authentico! 👌
The owners are so very nice. My family has been going here for years. This location is bigger than the one in Hendo. Both are excellent. Friendly and fast service.
Fantastic food, the gentleman at the counter was very helpful. This was my first time eating Honduran food. It is very tasty. I would definitely return.
Visiting from Colorado and wanted to snag something to eat at the airport. The burritos were filling and delicious. Guy at the front was super friendly. If we come back to Asheville we’ll def stop by again!
