Delicious pizza, super fast. We ordered a pie and walked out with it within seven minutes. This was fully appreciated because we were famished and needed to get home to eat. Bella Italia offers more than just pizza with calzones, sandwiches, cheesesteaks, salads, and Stromboli on the menu.
After moving away 25 years ago, this is the only place I take the time to go out to eat when in town. Still the same great slices and the authentic owners running the place after all these years.
We always love getting a slice or two and a soda in a booth. The Dad usually is the one who takes our order. He's friendly, hard working and kind, ad is the entire family who works there. The pizza is thin and crispy and hapilly reminds us of "pizza truck" pizza from years back. Eating it right at Bella's piping hot and awesomely large is a treat!
My youngest son loves pizza so we stopped here on our way home. It was our first time here. We were greeted with good hospitality 🙌🏾 which is ALWAYS a plus in our book. The pizza was delicious to say the least. He had cheese. I had buffalo chicken and a garden slice 😋 We will be back again 😋
So good I can't believe we didn't have them until now. Let's just say that even with delivery, the pizza tasted amazing! Almost like I would be fine not ever trying NY pizza. We ordered the original with mushrooms. They gave so many mushrooms! The pizza tasted amazing! The cheese blend was comforting but novel (not sure what the exact cheese mix is). Also the pizza hit all the right notes without feeling greasy or too salty. Like I could enjoy delicious pizza that feels healthy (or at least not heavy) and not have to chug a glass of water. The crust was crispy and satisfying without feeling too doughy. Also, I think the reasonable amount of salt comes from their confidence as cooks and purveyors of ingredients. Even the Italian salad was savory and satisfying and perfectly seasoned. The pickles and peppers were insanely delicious (in a low-key way, like you went to an Italian friend cook's house for dinner) and the vinaigrette was awesome! The homemade meatballs were also perfect! Would totally want to order this exact menu again (maybe try another pizza...the margherita, perhaps)? It was so good we forgot to take pictures. The food just disappeared. Our toddlers were able to independently feed themselves. They loved it!
Bella Italia is a favorite spot of mine growing up in Ardmore.
This was my first stop after being out of the country for a month. So I had to get a cheesesteak!
Good size roll, plenty of meat and super friendly staff. I would have liked more fries with the order but they were perfect otherwise.
