The best place in the city for breakfast! I have never had a bad meal there. Good service — they keep your cup full of good strong American coffee.

If you like bacon, egg, cheeze; I recommend cheddar, burger, tomato, lettuce, then the Bob and Edith will absolutely make you say yum!
VIV took me here for breakfast, line was long but moved quickly, the coffee was the best I have had in ages. The food was very good and and when I asked what kind of coffee it was,they gave me a whole bag to brew at home.I will definitely eat there again
When we come to the DMV area at least once a year from NC, we always stop here for breakfast. No matter how long the line we wait. They have the best pancakes, French toast and egg combos, you can’t go wrong here!
Food was good and the portions were a good size (left the table full!!) Nice spot to get a good breakfast. It gets crowded but it moves fast with some patience. Love the sausage patties!!! Now I gotta try lunch! �

I've been here about 10 times starting as far back 1983.
I loved it from the first time with the exception of smoking being allowed in such a small restaurant.
However I would give exception to the smoking over the great food that was served.
Yesterday my family went in to find that there isn't any smoking allowed. Yippy!

Been coming here since 1998 - consistently good quality food. My favorite is the country fried steak and eggs (but dont eat it often). This place is great for lunch and dinner too - I love their meatloaf and mashed potatoes and their burgers are as good as anywhere else and always have been. Service is always great too, and friendly. I love sharing this place with my daughter.
