Legit. When I looked into the restaurant I thought it was like a Cava or Chipotle or DC Taco. It's not counter service, it's elegant table service. The food is legit barbeque and the menu is affordable and relatively foodie.
On Sunday, and maybe Saturday, there's a brunch menu that includes chicken and waffles but I had a brisket sandwich and a side salad and an iced tea. I didn't need the steak knife as the beef was very tender.
The beef was smoky on its own but I did try both the regular and hot barbeque sauces by dipping in them and they were delicious, too, but I favored the spicy regular sauce over the hot stuff.
I ate at the bar as got to watch the whole spatchcock chickens come out of the oven. They looked delicious.
When I left, got some pulled pork to go and that was delicious when I got home. It's on my walkabout route so I'll surely be dropping by in the future.
We went to brunch for the first time on Sunday. The food was great! We can't wait to go back. I usually don't like brisket because it's almost always super dry but the brisket you guys have to moist and full of flavor. The side of corn was perfect!
Great food drinks and staff. Every time I go I am delighted with the food. The biscuit is tender and well flavored. The smoked chicken is on point. The cocktails are delightfully tasty. But it's the friendly staff especially on this visit. They were accommodating of a large party and it really made out experience fun and satisfying.
Great lunch. Got the meat platter because i wanted to try all the meats. Was not disappointed The coleslaw and beans were very good too. Friendly staff. Highly recommend.
Great place for family gathering. The brisket was delicious and so were the ribs and chicken wings. Good choices for sides and the desserts were terrific (chocolate mousse, cheesecake and key lime pie). Highly recommend.
We catered Texas Jack’s last night for a pool party Barbeque, over 30 people. Outstanding food and service. I highly recommend them.
Great atmosphere even better food. From the pulled pork to the brisket to the wings you name it the coleslaw it was all on point
