We had an amazing dinner last night with a group of friends. Wonderful food, wonderful attentive and knowledgeable staff. Save room for dessert and have the limoncello or pistachio creme brulee. We had reservations at 5 on a Friday. By the time we left the place was packed so I recommend a reservation. Added bonus: our waiter's accent and half price bottles of wine before 6!
Absolutely loved this place. The food and service was outstanding. My family and I laughed and shared memories over a delicious intimate meal. My compliments to the chef. Oh and that key lime pie was just heavenly.
We were spending night at Hampton Inn in order to catch a flight out of Reagan early next morning. We look up near by Resturant’s on Yelp. Reviews were good so we decided to give it a try. I am so glad we did. We didn’t have a reservation so we just walked in. We were seated right away. The food was outstanding. Service was good. We had a leisurely dinner with wine. I would recommend to my friend.
Loved the food,service and atmosphere! Simply the best Italian meal I ever had! The owner over saw the restaurant and was sure to check in with us to ensure our satisfaction.

I never thought I could find cooking to rival New Orleans. But the Polo Portofino may have been the best meal I have had. Sure wish I had the recipe. Delicioso!
I've been to the area several times. Never get a chance to stop in. This year after the army 10 miler we finally made it in. It's a cozy Italian feeling restaurant. Love the ambiance up stairs. The staff was awesome. The food was delicious. Portions are smaller than other Italian places I've been to. Had it been served with a salad 🥗 would be more reasonable for the price. But over all satisfying The olive oil is real. I would return again.

The Portofino is a wonderful place with a staff that works as a team to ensure that you have everything you want and need to enjoy your meal. It's one of my favorite places to eat. The food is fantastic. Family owned and operated for over 40 years; ask for Richard when you go in.
Great little find of a restaurant. This is an old school classic. Not just red sauce but classic dishes from around Italy prepared in a careful manner.
I had a tortellini in broth that was all
Home made. The pasta was just right and the broth was a nice balance of chicken flavor. Next was pasta Carbonara. It was creamy, eggy and just right. I finished with a light and creamy Tiramisu.
Service was spot on and the decor was right out of the 70’s which I loved.
Enjoyed the whole experience. Came highly recommend from the hotel we were staying at,did not disappoint.
We were there for a luncheon for the office. I had the eggplant and it was good. Salad and fresh baked break good too. When in the mood for good Italian at dinnertime, I shall consider this place.
Such a great place for true italian atmosphere and food make reservations though!
