Taylor's has delicious sandwiches with quality ingredients. They have locally made iced tea and gourmet soda made without corn syrup. And the prices are comparable to other popular lunch spots. I enjoyed all of the Philly references, too.
My husband is a sandwich snob. He is born and raised Philly, and since moving to the DC area, complains that no one knows how to make a sandwich here. We just tried Taylor Gourmet and his words were, “It’s good. Best we’ve had since we moved.” (High praise from him.) The bread is really good - a big deal for Philadelphians - and the overall flavors of our sandwiches were excellent. Thank God we finally found a decent sandwich place. We’ll definitely be ordering again.
The sandwiches are awesome - wide variety, great flavor! Service has been great so far! I will be trying the order online and pick-up feature, help my lunch be more enjoyable than standing in line!
Taylor gourmet is the absolute number one sandwich shop in the United States. This was a hard decision I had to make between this place and dillys deli in Tempe, Arizona. The Menu is very creative as it is definitely a stem straight from my mind. Come enjoy the Creative Genius that is Taylor Gourmet!
Delicious sandwiches - I would have given 5 stars except they always seem to be out of the bread type you want (incredible how many times this has happened) and the wait time is a bit on the high end. Other than that, great spot!
The Race is a great Italian-style sandwich; also their meatball sub is pretty spot-on.
Taylor Gourmet is a reliable stop for delicious sandwiches made with real ingredients at affordable prices. The seasonal menus are very good, and the sandwiches go far beyond the typical roast beef or Italian fare you find at other sandwich restaurants.
The sandwiches here are amazing! Also, they also offer Gourmet drinks as well as desserts. I ordered a steak and cheese sub which was really good and one of the best that I've had in a while. Additionally, they allow you to customize sandwiches to your own taste. In particular to my preference, I had to mention that the hoagie roll as well as all of my sandwich ingredients were fresh and most notably, the hoagie roll was not toasted (and buttery soft). I prefer that my hoagie roll isn't toasted, so I really appreciated that they didn't toast my hoagie roll. Also, a cool fun fact that makes this place even better is that you can order your food online and it'll be ready for pick up upon your arrival. I highly recommend that you take advantage of this option if you do decide to go during peak hours.
Sandwiches are different than the standard deli with fair number of options and better ingredients. Love the app to order ahead for walk in pick up.
