We were a party of 6 with two kids. We ordered Biryani, chicken karahi and some snacks.
At first the menu was brought to us and then we had to go to order. This was complicated because there were two different counters in two different rooms and apparently different things in menu add split between the two. This was confusing and the people on counter didn’t help much at all.
Coming to food. The biryani was amazing. The samosas were good and the dahi bhallas were decent. Overall if you’re looking for a decent desi place with authentic Punjabi taste then this is a place to be.
Taking one star only because of the customer service and confusion in ordering.
We were visiting our friend in DC who is a vegetarian and he recommended this place for dinner. I think this is probably the best chole I have had in the US so far.
Chicken Karahi was good so were the kebabs but definitely chole will be my favorite of all. The place was very crowded and it took us some time to get a table.I can't wait to come back and try more.

I have only tried their karahi, and it tastes very authentic! The price is $28.99, and although it says that it’s enough for two, it’s more than enough for three people. It comes with two naan. I will come back to try the other dishes.
They take credit card?!? Been coming to this place as early as I can remember. Call ahead if you're dining in and that way there's no wait time for the food to be prepared. The kabobs used to only be good on the weekdays, but now it's consistent. Whether you go on a weekday or weekend, the kabobs and sides are superb. I also had to have cash handy, but you can pay with credit card.
Awesome food; personal preferences are given priority; you can request EXTRA CURRY WITH BIRYANIS AND THEY ARE HAPPY TO PROVIDE WITH A SMILE; NICE HOT KASHMIR TEA
