Food is always excellent here! Was a little disappointed with having to wait 40 minutes on top of our reservation. They are busy and tried to make accommodations for us but we ended up being sat next to the a door to the patio area which ended up being very breezy. A nice atmosphere despite that, and the table service is top notch.

Finally had an amazing dinner from Ember! I won’t lie; the other two times I’ve been here have been very disappointing but this one was worthwhile. Started out with the baked goat cheese and peach salad and the fried green tomatoes with shrimp. Both delicious and very fresh. Then we had the poblano and cheddar sausage and the Alaskan halibut. Also amazing options! A lot of seasonal ingredients so tomatoes and basil flavors in the fried tomato appetizer and the halibut dish. We finished off with the toasted marshmallow ice cream cake. Would highly recommend all these options! Came later on a Sunday night so maybe that helped.

Ember has become my favorite restaurant and I will always recommend to anyone that wants a superb meal! I always make sure to make a reservation right when they open because I love watching the atmosphere change to dim and busy, and it is a little quieter. The staff is knowledgeable and such a joy to talk to! I usually never like vegetables from restaurants, but Ember knows how to cook them. I always eat them first! You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu.. it is all so delicious!

The pizza is very very good. Probably some of the best wood oven pizza we’ve ever had. Service is also great. But, the other dishes we got: the squid, filet mignon carpaccio, and duck leg confit were a bit disappointing, especially for the price.

Ember was a nice surprise. We made a reservation last minute and we were seated a few minutes after our reservation. We opted for a pizza as an appetizer and it was great. The crust was delicious, it was served promptly and in order. For our main course we went with a rib eye that was cooked to our specification. Very tender, and the potatoes were also great. I ordered a Cabernet Franc, the bottle paired really well with our rib eye. Delicious bottle for a reasonable price. Dessert was great. The toasted marshmallow is the special one. The others were pretty standard. Good but nothing special. Toasted marshmallow was great. Service was good, also. Attentive, quick and friendly. The best part of this was the price: $300 or so for four people, with wine and dessert. Great experience, I’d go back.

Been here about five times and every single time was amazing. The menu changes every so often, which could be a good or bad thing. Bad because, if you eat something you absolutely love, the menu is going to change. The good thing is, every time the menu does change, it is still amazing. Each dish is like a work of art. Not only is it pleasant to the taste buds, but to the eyes as well. I frequent this establishment with my wife, on date nights, and we eagerly anticipate new menus. It's like anticipating the next book from your favorite author and never being disappointed. I wouldn't consider this a family restaurant because the prices are a bit on the steep side, although, they have wood oven pizza for kids if they join you. This is a great "date night" or "friends get together" outing. I believe the ingredients are from local farms, so that is assuring of freshness. There really isn't anything negative I can say about this restaurant. The photos submitted are of an espresso martini, which was DELICIOUS, and dessert. I believe it was a chocolate terrine. I didn't get a picture of the main course or appetizer because I just forgot and dug right in.

The BEST restaurant. One of my favourite in California. The service, the meals, the vibes were all amazing. This is a MUST visit. The menu changes daily but some of their classics are always available.

This place is great. They have a pretty rad ambiance and the food was delicious. Be sure to try the lasagna, it was spectacular. The staff was very friendly and had a large selection of wines, beers, etc.

The food was very good, but portions were small and the prices very high! $30-$50 per plate. Lasagna was very good, but for $33, I would expect a larger portion than the 4"x4" size I got, and it came with nothing else. Dessert was $14, which was a woman's fist size made of some marshmallows enveloping a small amount of ice cream and crumbles of sweet dark cookie. It was interesting and good, but needed more ice cream. The decore is very plan and more of a bar atmosphere. Will I go again? Probably not. Too expensive for what you get. There are many nicer restaurants at the ocean, charging much less.

Excellent food and service. The rosemary bread was tender and delicious with just the right amount of bite. The filet was perfect. Smoky and juicy. Lasagna was delicious. So many layers, but not a thick cut. The sole was also great. Our only issue was the meatball appetizer we ordered came with a couple raw in the center meat balls. Kitchen took care of it, but that should never happen. Gordon Ramsey would have been screaming.
