First time trying this unique take on bbq. A little Asian a little Hawaiian. A blend of good taste, good prices, and new flavors this may be a new go to a few times a month.

Their chicken katsu is very unique. It is super light and very crispy at the same time. Their fish as well is very creamy. Pretty big portions would recommend saving it for 2 meals if you can. Everything else is pretty standard and pretty good overall.
Excellent service accompanied by chill vibes and delicious understated bites. This place is NOT a fancy tiny plate restaurant…It’s not supposed to be! This place is awesome. Not only was the food excellent. They were able to provide 40 togo dinners for a class we were hosting. They only had a few days notice. They gave us much more food than anyone else could have at a similar cost. I look forward to doing business with them again.
The spam musubi was good value and tasted good! The beef and sides were good but the bbq chicken wasn’t my favorite. It’s grilled chicken breast and didn’t have much flavor…

Very tasty, if the bowls came with fried rice then I would have an extremely hard time eating anywhere else. Their proteins and teriyaki flavoring is awesome. Spam mitsubi (sp?) was very tasty too. Highly suggested, if the food sounds good then you will likely love it!
I had a favorite Hawaiian BBQ restaurant in OC, I've been wanting to find one here. Tropical Hawaiian BBQ is now my overall favorite. Their Katsu and beef combo is so good, the rice, macaroni salad, and cabbage are tasty, too!
