On the outside, the place looked very unassuming. The wooden bars that show through the door gives the impression that it was not open for business, but the neon open sign was on. Inside, the place is small and cozy. Tables were adequately spaced apart. Everyone in our party enjoyed their food and had no complaints so that’s always a plus. The rolls were pretty good. Miso soup was just right. Portions were good. Service was also good. The crew members were quick to remove empty dishes. This was our first visit to this place so, hopefully, the next ones are as good or better. (I did notice the sushi chef not wearing gloves while preparing the rolls.) Btw, parking spaces are tight.

Tampopo has a good service and atmosphere is good too. I had Poki bowl and upon combo. Poki bowl was good with the right amount. However, Udon was a little bit without taste. I thought it was too blend. Still it was good food and I recommend the restaurant for lunch combo. One uncomfortable situation was they charged more on the tips than what I wrote on the receipt. Surprisingly the credit company informed me about this unusual amount of tip compare to the total order of food. However, since it was not much different amount, I just didn't bother to mention to the store.

If you're looking for a good ramen experience in the LA area, this place will give you that experience. Their ramen sets are amazing. You can pair your ramen with Korean bbq which is equally good, making the whole ramen meal even better. The staff are very friendly. Their ramen is just good in the mouth. It comes in a cheap price too. Regular bowl is around $8 and the large bowl is around $10, and btw, they come in big bowls. The large one can feed up to 3 people and the regular one can be shared with another person. They also serve sushis. Their calamari is one of the best calamaris i have ever tried, crispy from the outside but not chewy in the inside. Affordable and yet good. Their chashu btw, are the ramen's bomb! Try that!

Had their spicy Ramen and it had great kick, they have a lot of options for sushi rolls. Had their hulk roll, calamari roll, and snow roll. All of the rolls were well made and complimented the Ramen well.
