This used to be one of my favorite restaurants. They have really gone down hill the last several months. The last several times I have been there I ordered chicken hibachi and these days you get a much smaller amount of chicken and what you do get is of very poor quality. I think the owner must be burnt out and has lost his passion for cooking. I have eaten there my last time. Sorry Sapporo's.

This place USED to be good. They never answer the phone now. When they do finally answer , they keep you on hold so long you have to hang up. When you DO get through to order food, it’s never correct. We will be looking for another place. It’s unfortunate because they don’t seem to care anymore. Too busy and not enough time for quality I guess. I used to work in food service industry so I know how hard it can be. This is just piss poor.

We’ve eaten here at Sapporo’s a lot in the past and we still do to this day. But the portion size of steak that you get in your plate is a joke. We always order teriyaki steak plates. You used to get a lot of meat, along with rice and carrots. But now it seems you get a ton of rice, half azz portion of carrots and hardly any steak at all. Wish there were a better Japanese joint in Asheboro…. Won’t be heading back to Sapporo’s anytime soon.

Me and my boyfriend love the food. But seriously, get it together. Update your online menu/menus. Scallops, gone. Tried to order california rolls today. No issue over the phone, arrive to pick up the food and no california rolls. I'm highly disappointed with the false advertisement and lack of variety. It's almost as if they don't even severe half of the menu that's posted online.
