The Bull & Beggar - Asheville - Photo album

We came tonight to celebrate my birthday and it was awesome! Wonderful food, seasoned to perfection and executed with refinement. I couldn’t have asked for more. Service and wine also amazing, we’re definitely coming back again to try the steak and some seafood! It’s been a while I’ve had a perfect
River district parking lot isn't paved, so be prepared to get your shoes dirty. Food is excellent & service exceeded expectations. Great place to take a date.
From cocktails to dessert, just amazing!!! Rabbit Rilletes, Beef Tartare, Cassoulet, and the Ginger Cakes. The Velvet Divorce was an absolutely amazing cocktail to start the evening.
Had a wonderful meal last night. That Au Poiver (?) sauce with steak is to die for!!! We also enjoyed the oysters!
My wife found this restaurant for our 38th wedding anniversary, and they were phenomenal as we were a walk-in, and they treated us with politeness and professional We both enjoyed our meals, and if we were ever in Ashville, we would make sure we hit this place Thank you
Everything was great! The staff was friendly and attentive. My steak was cooked perfectly
Our waitress was so nice and helpful. We celebrated an anniversary here and they brought us a complementary glass of champagne for my wife and I.
Mondays are 50% off oysters which are a perfect start for our meal. Our entrees (steak frites, swordfish) were cooked well and flavorful. Ambience is nice for a date night.
Great atmosphere in this cool but also casual restaurant. I had the cheese and leek pie and it was DELICIOUS! great negronis too!
Went here with two friends for a late dinner with drinks. Service was superb. This is an European pub style restaurant and bar. You will find some gems on the menu. I tried the salmon tartine, pork belly, chicken pot pie, and sticky toffee pudding. Everything was excellent. Prices are on the high si
Love the ambiance. Our waitress bent over backwards to accommodate my food allergies. The Skate Wing was a first for me and may be my favorite fish ever! So much flavor. My mouth waters remembering it.
Bear was our phenomenal server. VERY pleasant. Made our anniversary dinner that much more enjoyable. Romantic atmosphere to celebrate the occasion. The escargot and steak dinner tasted great! And the East India Gimlet is a very tasty and easy to drink cocktail. Highly recommend this restaurant!
Bull and Beggar is located in a small string of shops in the art district. It has a very cozy and warm vibe. It has an upscale feel to it but would be fine to go dressed up or dressed down some. We did make a reservation ahead of time so I'm honestly not sure what kind of wait you would have, but we
5 stars and if I could give it more I would! Amazing meal and even better service by Brenda! A friend and I tried two different red wines, filet mignon, cabbage, squash, and escargot. The filet and squash were amazing! I tried escargot for the first time and it was delicious. We may even return tomo
Amazing food! We had the bread with onion butter, filet mignon and duck. Everything was so delicious and the atmosphere was low key with perfect lighting (not too bright or too dim). Servers were friendly and attentive. My husband was happy to see some of the Leveler beer here.
Absolutely fabulous meal and all round experience. The food was cooked perfectly and we had a wonderful meal. That was the best Filet Mignon I've ever eaten in my life. The "frites" a.k.a. "French fries" didn't belong on the same plate with that steak. Otherwise, the meal was near perfection.
Best filet mignon I've ever had! The atmosphere is very cozy, the staff are excellent and attentive. The creamed spinach and carrots were to die for! I highly recommend the Steel Magnolia drink, it was so good. It was my first time here so I was a little tricky to find but overall excellent food! I
The best French food I've had in America. They stay true to the concept: traditional dishes made with the highest quality ingredients, prepared using classic techniques.
We accidentally stumbled on this place and it was a complete surprise. 30 minutes before closing and we were treated with the utmost care and precision. Matt gave us impeccable service and the food was mind blowing. We had a variety of small plates. The foie gras was outstanding, I highly recommend
