Delicious meal with live music made for an awesome Friday night dinner. To start, we had the cheese plate with pickled veggies. We also had the summer arugula salad and it was so fresh, full of flavors! It had fresh fruit along with the greens and whipped goat cheese. For our main entree I had the meatloaf which was really good, but the cheddar potatoes were phenomenal. They were so flavorful and rich. The meatloaf had a blackberry BBQ sauce- maybe a hint too much for my liking, but was very tasty. My husband had the vegetarian risotto and added trout for a protein. It was flavorful and enjoyed. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here!

Excellent food and service! It is very convenient if your accommodations are on site, especially in the Village Hotel. Restaurant does close early, 9pm exact, so plan accordingly. The North Carolina trout and salmon are tasty dishes, and they also serve up superb drinks. The staff is very friendly and the food is fresh, farm to table.

They ran out of turkey bacon and it was a Wed. The omelets were good with fresh veggies. There is a wait so you get a beeper device. It’s hard to accommodate so many people. The atmosphere is country restaurant with a Biltmore twist, very nice in the Village Hotel. No spoons to stir coffee kind of strange. The bagel was ok, fruit was fresh, grits perfect. It’s a tourist spot at the Biltmore so adjust your expectations. A lot of people - bus loads. The breakfast came with the candlelight Tour package. We would book this again.

I really wished I could give a higher rating for this restaurant! Our server was amazing and the gluten free options were also great. They even had gluten free dessert!

I spent the day touring the beautiful lavish and pretentious Biltmore estate then made my way to the winery and after that I felt as if I should go to Asheville to eat dinner, but then I saw the menu at Village Social and decided to try it. Dress code didn’t matter. Appetizers were very vegetarian friendly. I chose the pickle and cheese plate $21 for 3 cheeses, pickled cauliflower, carrots and asparagus. All accompanied by some focaccia bread. I found the pickled veggies to be so delicious. The carrots had a flavor I couldn’t quite place… ginger? The bread was softer than I am used to for focaccia and light on herbs and spices. The cheese- one was a goat cheese, so good! Another was espresso goat cheese, it was just okay, but I did love the unique flavor. The Brie was not good. It had an odd texture, wasn’t served warm and had a soapy flavor in my opinion… however, it was the only thing I didn’t enjoy at all. I moved on to try the Beets with goat cheese and orange thyme dressing. My toes curled for this one. Melt in your mouth flavors that kept me wanting more. Portion was good. I also tried the fried green tomatoes with hot honey drizzle and pimento cheese dip. First bite I found the tomato too tough, the breading was strange and maybe overcooked? The hot honey was jalapeño infused and it was the hit. The pimento cheese was puréed- no big chunks of cheese unfortunately. I didn’t even finish my first tomato. It was not my favorite but I liked it better than the brie! So at this point I am full. I am sad I can’t try anything else. They had a meatloaf that everyone was ordering and it looked really good for a meat dish, the waitress said it was the blueberry barbecue sauce that made that dish. I had wanted to try the Vegan Pumpkin Risotto, which she also said was amazing, but I was too stuffed and loved how healthy my food choices were so far. I then decided to skip to dessert, settling on the apple cobbler and then also a scoop of the ice cream flavor of the day which was mint Oreo! So much fun. Really the best part of the meal. The apple cobbler was interesting, the outside of the dish was warm, but the inside was barely room temp. Then ice cream on top. I found it too be almost too sweet, hardly any apples and too quite honest, the fact it wasn’t served even warm seemed like poor execution. For the prices on this menu, I’m shocked to see even this many flaws falling through the cracks. I am a tough critic though. I give this place 4 stars because the service was spot on and they didn’t seem to care what people were wearing, but the food was over priced in my opinion. Should be some kind of meal voucher or discount for buying the tickets. No bathrooms on the 1.5 hour tour of the house and then another Benjamin to eat dinner on property. Hilarious experience. Menu is seasonal so it will change, this is good if you get season passes!

Excellent food. The wait staff were great. The restaurant is very chill and has a great vibe. The prices are about what you’d expect from a resort this caliber. The location of this hotel is superb simply because it’s inside the estate. I would not hesitate to eat here again.

I got the greens salad, which was good. The shrimp and grits was very soupy and tasted okay. The whiskey sour was okay. Super friendly staff and a cool atmosphere.

The tomato basil soup was amazing. Best soup I've ever had from a restaurant. The chicken salad sandwich was a bit bland. The service was amazing and the place was beautiful.

We were looking for a little bit as our reservations at another place were later in the evening. We had the Smoke Trout Dip and Cheddar Biscuits along with some libations. Our Server Melissa was great. We had no wait time for seating. We sat in the patio area and never went inside the restaurant. Really enjoyed the atmosphere outside to take a little break and people watch.

Crawfish Roll was great and loaded. We tried the bbq chips and garlic fries and preferred the flavor of the fries. Lastly the green fried tomorrows were done well, not greasy and had a tang from the hot honey.

Had breakfast here and it was amazing. The pancakes were the best pancakes I have had in a long time. The home fries were delicious and the biscuit on the sandwich was fluffy and perfect. The wait was minimal and service was on point. We can’t wait to come back!

Staying at the Biltmore for a wedding and really enjoyed lunch here. Was seated immediately and the staff was very friendly and attentive the whole time. I ordered the shrimp tacos with a side of asparagus and they were so flavorful and delicious. Would definitely recommend coming in if you’re visiting

Village Social was a great experience.  Tonya was our spicy little server – full of energy and spunk and knowledge.  The food was fabulous, the wine was a perfect pairing, and the service was great.  We’ve just not had a bad experience at any of the Biltmore restaurants.  Keep up the great work all!  We’ll definitely be back for more!
