Carmel's Restaurant & Bar At The Grove Arcade - Asheville - Photo album

The staff seemed a little distant but we were seated quickly. The food was excellent. The location is a great spot to people watch. The setting is mix between a diner and a bar. Good place for a family lunch or dinner.
The atmosphere was very nice, service was very good, and the food was delicious! I got the daily special which was the beer battered fish and chips. The batter on the fish was so delicious. It was fluffy and crisp, the fries seem like they were freshly sliced potatoes with a nice light seasoning on
We were in town for a concert and happened by Carmel's for lunch after a different restaurant had a lackluster menu. You MUST get the chicken and waffle sandwich. It is amazing. My wife liked her catfish sandwich, but after she saw my chicken and waffle sandwich and tried it, she regretted not gett
Amazing food and service! Our waiter was very attentive and helpful when ordering. Definitely dine here if you’re in the Asheville area.
Stopped in for lunch. I had the chicken white bean soup and the mushroom pizza. My wife and daughter both had the cheese pizza. The mushroom pizza was more artisan than I enjoy and my wife’s cheese pizza was basic flat bread. Service was good and location was nice.
This restaurant was very good!! Me and my family really enjoyed the staff here and the food. The chicken and waffle was a must and the mushroom pizza was the perfect!!
We loved everything we ordered. The deviled eggs for the appetizer were amazing. We also had the chicken and waffles which were amazing. My wife had the bibb salad with smoked salmon. It was really good as well. If you are around then check this place out.
Food was amazing! Service was even better! 10/10 recommend to everyone! The desert was also great!
A large group of 13 of us went for dinner without a reservation and they were able to accommodate all of us together outside. The food and service were both great with large portions. A wide selection of tasty cocktails, Appetizers included the deviled eggs, pimento cheese, fried green tomatoes, br
Very happy with this experience. I loved the atmosphere. It was upscale and romantic. The Deviled Eggs were yummy. There was some sort of sweet pepper jelly on the plate with them that was so good. I got a BLT and my husband got the Pork Chop, we were both pleased. Service was awesome!! Yummy desser
We had a fabulous experience at Carmel's kitchen on our recent trip to Asheville. Our favorite part was the fried green tomato appetizer. It was a unique take and absolutely delicious. Both of our cocktails were great as well. We order the shrimp and grits and the pork loin and loved both. Everythin
Relaxing chilled corner eatery with an atmosphere for every taste and style. Limited food selection, but that allows them to perfect every item on the menu. Our Asheville favorite place to eat and ppl watch at the corner of the Grove Arcade!
Andrew seated us and served us. We lucked out. Sat us outside and he was great throughout our meal. Selection was a bit limited. The BLT was good but could've used a bit more B. Toasted just a little longer too. Blood orange Martini was very tasty.
Atmosphere is great, very chill. The food was outstanding! We both had the ribeye, easily one of the best steaks we've ever had. Added bonus...the street musician who sang and played keyboard was awesome! Highly Recommend!
