Absolutely the best meal I’ve ever had. Coming from San Francisco, this is the best in Ashland. The meal itself was exquisite with perfectly paired local wines. Josh and Luke have brought something beyond special to the valley. Don’t miss the opportunity for an experienced based dining evening. You will be so glad you did!

Disgustingly, overwhelmingly good. The singular best food experience Southern oregon has to offer! Chef Josh curates a delicate one-of-kind progressive prix fixe experience; intricate dishes are complimented with sake and house infusion pairings, long with tableside service by the overwhelmingly accessible chef. The 9-course experience showcases the best ingredients Oregon has to offer, with care to enhance the nuances that make the region delectable. I actually started to tear up during a couple plates - try it with an open mind, and you will not be disappointed!

Josh and Luke prepared some of the best dishes I’ve ever had. They paired each of these dishes with sake that was wonderful and refreshing. Watching them prepare the food, and plate it, enhanced the experience even more. I’m excited to bring some my friends back so they can enjoy this with us.

Wonderful tasting menu prepared with excellent care, attention to detail, and enthusiasm. Luke and Josh took the time to explain every aspect of each dish and it was obvious that they both love what they do, and it shows in the exquisiteness of the food!

Not only is Josh an outstanding and visionary chef, but the entire experience of eating at MÄS was perfect. Eat here if you at all in the area! Wish I could give 6 stars to be honest.

Josh is an amazing chef, visionary and an embracer of all things local and fresh. So impressed with the dining experience tonight as well as the wine pairing selections. We've eaten at Thomas Keller’s French Laundry and this is a far better experience from the food offerings to intimacy!

If you can imagine the pure, uninhibited joy you felt as a child the very first time you tasted something like potato chips or ice cream...at Mas, I had the opportunity to re-experience that utter delight as an adult. I am a self-trained chef and I love food to the depths of my soul. Yet I experienced depths of flavor the likes of which I could not have conceived before tonight. Quite simply, if you can afford to eat here...do! If you can't afford it, save up the money to make it an especial treat. Either way, you will not regret the experience!

Our best friends treated us to MAS recently. It was our first time there. Hands down the most memorable and amazing dining experience to date. Starting with the freshest oysters all the way to the finish, each course burst with flavor. Dependant on a few simple ingredients, prepared so artfully, each bite is an education in what is possible when a skilled craftsman is at the helm. Looking forward to experiencing MAS again in the future!

We just had the most amazing dinner at Mas. Sophisticated, refined and thoughtfully executed. Each dish was perfection. It is worth the money for a special evening centered around farm fresh ingredients.

They did a great job of balancing the tastes, such care in assembling the meals, and the results were fantastic!

I really can't accurately describe how amazing the food and service is at MAS. This is a meal normally only found in the largest culinary cities or completely off the beaten path. This is a true gem of Oregon. Seasonality is an overused buzz word found on too many menus today, but Josh and Luke actually take that word literally. They are hyper focused on local ingredients that are only used at their peak. My only wish is that MAS was closer so I could go every week.

Josh provided an absolutely divine dining experience. I have had plenty of Michelin stared food, but I really think Josh’s exploration in umami takes it to the next level. It’s quite down to earth, but the food is so next level. My only complaint is that I think the wine pairing places a bit more emphasis on local than a perfect match, but i would highly recommend this place to anyone!! It’s a small and intimate experience. The food is fantastic. The total experience is approximately 3 hours.
