So we didn't end up eating here really. Had an appetizer and some drinks just to kind of check the place out. Very nice, clean atmosphere, great bartender. We did end up having the cheese curds which were probably the best I've had in a long long time. We did look over the menu but I will admit, this is a place we'd have to come to right after getting paid. Prices weren't too bad, and I'm assuming the price will reflect the quality. Half the time, at a standard steak house chain restaurant, you pay a decent price but the food ends up being less than superb. I've heard from alot of people that the food at The Winchester is very good. Plan on coming here at some point for dinner. Our bartender was extremely nice and easy to talk to. We came late at night so couldn't really experience how this place runs during a dinner service. Can't wait to come back.
Carol and Megan were just as amazing as the food and drink. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was charming and excited. This was my first time. If you've never been, go. Ask for Megan. She knows how to treat customers right!
DO NOT MISS THE CHEESY CRAB NACHOS TO START YOUR MEAL! Everything here is great, always hot and fresh, always served with a smile! The Captain's Platter (Scallops, Shrimp, Fish, & Snow Crab Cluster) is my go-to when ordering! Mixed drinks are well made and flavorful, atmosphere is calm and soothing.
Wife and I stayed at the Delta in Ashland and decided to go down and check out the in house restaurant, know as The Winchester. We were pleasantly surprised with the atmosphere, the friendliness of the staff, and the food was amazing. We began with potato skins as an appetizer. The skin was crispy and perfectly salted. The cheese melted to perfection and the bacon with the perfect combo of crisp and grease.I had the ribeye, . Perfect char, extremely tender, could have eaten it with a spoon. The wife had the snow crab legs, buttery, tender, perfectly cooked. The Winchester house salad was top notch as well. Overall I would highly recommend stopping by the Winchester if your ever in Ashland.
The Winchester was a wonderful place to have dinner. Food was excellent and staff was wonderful. Location in the Delta Marriott in Ashland Kentucky. Great experience. I loved the decor.
