Tacuba Cantina Mexicana - Astoria - Photo album

This establishment has been here for quite sometime and it never disappoints. Some of their menu items can be on the pricey end but nonetheless the food is delicious. The decor is tasteful and accompanied with Latin/Hispanic music while you enjoy your meal and drink(s). The waitress wasn’t as atte
10/10 food, service and atmosphere. Picked this place because it looked inviting and it more than exceeded expectations. Best nachos I’ve had in my life and the oysters were amazing especially the red sauce.
From the moment we walked into Tacuba, we knew we were in for a treat. The vibrant ambiance set the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. Our evening started with refreshing cocktails - the Paloma was a delightful burst of citrus, the Mojito was perfectly minty, and the Mezcal Piña Margarita
Pulpo chorizo tacos were delicious, the pineapple cadillac with mezcal was perfection, first time trying Agua Chile and it was sooo good I had to put a shot of mezcal in there and drank it 🤣 our bartender Dani was really friendly and attentive. Definitely coming back, btw the place is HUGE.
The only issue I have encountered with this establishment, albeit a minor one, pertains to the availability of items listed on their menu. I ordered items from the menu that were regrettably unavailable. To ensure a seamless and satisfactory dining experience, the menu should be regularly updated to
The waitress wasn’t attentive and we couldn’t find her when we wanted more water or our bill. We asked another staff memfor water and he just never returned. We had to find the hostess, just to pay our bill. The food and beverages were pretty good. Fajitas and open quessadillas were solid, although
The atmosphere and decor is spectacular. We were here on a Sunday evening and there was wonderful traditional live music. Everything was delicious. The Elote was a treat. If you don’t like guac, please note the fajitas come with it on top of the dish and on everything. Despite that, it truly was sp
Atmosphere was great, staff was really nice and attentive. The nachos were pretty good. The serving size is good for 3-4 people as an appetizer. The tacos we ordered took a while though and were just ok. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a wide selection of tequila cocktails or dr
Omg 💛 just try this place. The baked clams wacamole/warm chips, pulpo chorizo taco, and rice beans AMAZING. TRY the michilada. So authentic. Place and music was so delightful. Recommend ++
Definitely a hidden gem! I came here for brunch with my cousin and the restaurant was busy without being too loud and overcrowded. The staff is prompt and friendly. The portion sizes are just right; you feel full without feeling like you’ve overeaten. Loved their white sangria and Bellinis
Stumbled upon this place before going to a show on a Wednesday night. Sat right down to a busy, festive environment with immediate service. Had guacamole, shrimp tacos and ceviche- which were delivered way faster then expected. Didn’t have a margarita but will next time 🍹
This restaurant is cute, and a nice place to enjoy lunch. I went on a Saturday at 2PM and there were still some people enjoying their bottomless brunch. The décor and ambiance is very modern, if you're looking for cheap tacos from the corner store or a truck this isn't it. We got seated immediately
I always come back for the Shrimp Cocktail, Chips with Guacamole & red sauce (spicy) & last time I try the oysters, they were fresh! For dessert, the churros are a good selection with Nutella & chocolate on the side, to dip in!
I enjoyed my drinks, but was not crazy about the food. It was not bad, but it was not superb. My chicken fajita had way more veggies than chicken. This is another place that I would go for drinks and appetizer! They have happy hour on the bar until 7pm and I enjoyed the music being played.
Went before I was headed to the museum of moving image right across the street. Not disappointed! Amazing food. I had the guacamole and chips and the carnitas tacos. Wonderful!! I took a margarita too and it was very good. Don’t hesitate! 😀
One of my favorite restaurants in all queens! Why?! It has authentic Mexican food with amazing seafood selection (I am pescatarian!) yummy drinks, great vibe (sometimes a bit too loud!) great service, and a real queen feeling with mix of diverse crowds of people. I was sad to hear they’re removing t
We were celebrating my friends birthday, had a blast. I ordered the chicken enchiladas and they were delicious. Tried some different drinks, my favorite was the green one with jalapeño. I forget what it was called but it was delicious.
