Very filling and very flavorful. My wife and I enjoyed our time here and the food hit the spot. Totally worth the trip to Astoria. The vibes here are so hip, I love it. Definitely a staple in the neighborhood!

I went today for brunch and the food was amazing! The staff was very kind and genuine as well. If you go , go hungry because the portions are huge! Very cozy atmosphere; it reminds me of Europe cafes. Prices were adequate as well. Definitely recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Finally tried this spot for brunch and it didn’t disappoint! Loved the playful atmosphere and the creative spin on American classics. Come for the food and stay for the drinks! Also, come on a cheat day because you’ll want to indulge without worrying about the calories, trust me. Staff was also very helpful and gave us honest recommendations. I had the chicken and waffles and already dreaming about going back.
The place look like a old school diner but cool. The food was great! They have so many good stuff in that menu. I tried the chicken and waffle and it was the best I ever tasted. Also the bacon Mac n Cheese with BBQ Guava wing was amazing. The drinks are nice and fruity and a little strong. Almost forgot the great service.
It was a good place for brunch. They have brunch all day. They have cute and delicious mocktails. I recommend this place but it small so you may want to consider outside dining.
First time at Mom's Kitchen & Bar. I went with my best friend. The outdoor patio was great, everything was clean and service was great. Our server Marcos was great, friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered Summer Salad with fried chicken instead of roasted chicken, Short Rib Cobb Salad with avocado, blue cheese and truffled deviled eggs. We shared Cauliflower au Gratin which was amazing. This place is definitely a must visit. They also have Pride shakes menu and for every drink you purchase from it 2$ goes towards LGBT Network of Queens!
Definitely coming back here!!
One of my favorite breakfast/brunch spots in Queens. Creative comfort food with amazing friendly service. Quality remains just as good as it was when they first opened. My favorite dish is the macaroni and cheese pancakes, somehow, it just works SO well. Love the retro vibe, can’t wait to come again.
Coworkers and I came here for a late lunch/dinner type of day. I must stay, food and drinks were really good. The bartender and server were so friendly and sweet, also engaging into a conversation as well as the busser. We sat outside which was not that great. But overall we loved it.
The food is excellent and the place has a unique character about it. The only reason I give it 4 stars rather than 5 is just because it is a bit harsh for your wallet, and because of how popular the place is, you need to get very used to long wait times, usually double the wait time they say it would take. If they say 15 minutes to make your food, its actually 30 minutes to make the food. But it definitely feels like worth the wait in the end.
UPDATE: They no longer have the waffle taco 🥲
Food here was delicious! This place is definitely 10/10. Came here for brunch.
Menu is very different from what you are used to and it’s definitely worth it to give it a try. Me and my friend got 2 different plates the Waffle taco and the Chicken, bacon and waffle and we shared half and half.
The ambiance it’s very nice and the place aesthetic is very authentic.
A great place to have a heart attack in Astoria haha. If you're looking for a "treat yourself" type of brunch, any day or any time, this fits that bill to the extreme. I mean, they have a pancake burrito. I'm sure the reasonable options are good too, but you go here for the ridiculous, and the ridiculous is goooood. Just be prepared to need a nap afterwards.
I went to the one in midtown and this one does not disappoint. The wait can get pretty long and you will understand why. Its childhood food on steroids. Every dish is so creative, fun, and brings out your inner childhood joy. Must haves and must try are the heavy metal fries with short ribs and bedrock pancakes. My gosh the short ribs are so tender and pulls apart with all its glory. Cinnaboozy latte was also so deliciously dangerous. The bedrock pancakes were something else too. I don't love pancakes but these pancakes I adore! We also got shrimp grits, waffle taco, and steak and eggs too. Everything was good except the steak was not the best. The vibe is amazing and so is the decoration. Not to mention how large the portion sizes are - must try!!!
They do charge a credit card fee so bring cash if possible.
My cousins and I went there for brunch, and the foods we ordered were excellent! The staff was quick and courteous. I ordered the woodland omelette with a side of hash browns and it was simply delicious. Everything my cousins ordered looked delicious as well. Will definitely need to try their chicken and waffles next time. The drinks were okay. Would definitely recommend this place to family and friends!
Food is just soooooo goooood. Service is exceptional and the Shorty shake is just to die for. Stop by and have a frigging good meal. That's all folks.
I went here for brunch on a Sunday. The coffees took forever and when we drank the coffee it tasted burnt. I had to use 4 sugars to mask the taste. I don't send food and drinks back or complain because I am scared they might do something to my food lol. We got our coffees and orange juice 35 minutes after. The orange juice is not fresh just FYI. It's definitely from a carton. I ordered the breakfast sandwich with bagel and ham. The sandwich and homefries were delicious. My father in law ordered the cinnamon French toast with 2 over easy eggs and sausage. He said it was delicious. The reason I gave this place 4 stars is the waiting time for drinks and food and the coffee being burnt if not I would have rated 5 stars.
So good!! Come hungry & don’t expect to be healthy!! Delicious & unique menu, slightly different from midtown location’s (especially with shakes). Got the buffalo Mac & cheese balls (amazing with the sauce) and woodland omelette. My friend got the pancake burrito (enough for two servings, really good) - a lot of pancake in it, though, so get it if you like pancakes. Server was so thoughtful and kind. Drinks were Duckie Slide (mine, very refreshing), Papa Got Peach, and Hot Mama - all of which were also delicious! Overall, definitely coming back!
We came for breakfast, the food was delicious and portions were big.🙂
The service was good and fast. The only thing I would improve is having the floor in the outdoor dining area cleaner. My cousin's shoes got sticky from old chocolate spill.
Other than that, highly recommended.
