Wonderful cheese collection with so many bites and hot grilled sandwiches. On top of that the service is superb!!! Best best customer experience ever. They were so accommodating and friendly. I would recommend everyone to enjoy their beer with a bite of cheese.

Our favorite neighborhood spot, for any occasions—weekday wind-downs, weekend afternoons, late night drinks and munchies, birthday celebrations… we even took my parents visiting NYC there last summer and this was their favorite place during their stay.
Divine sandwiches, wonderful selection of beer, cider and wine, and super friendly staff who knows their stuff!
They also carry a wide variety of canned/bottled beers, cheese, cured meats, bread and crackers, and condiments too if you fancy putting together a charcuterie board at home.
Me and a Isabela have been coming to the formerly known as Astoria bier and cheese for many years. Now, as it’s known: The Bier and Cheese Collective…!EVERYTIIIME!! we visit we are treated with genuine hospitality. The sandwiches and plates and bier are a delicacy, in which we always succumb to. Tonight, we had family out of state and Lane and Jera (hope I got your name right!) were so kind and comforting. The duo were one of a kind, who made us feel welcomed. Lovely artisanal cheese on Ditmars in Astoria. They have a wide selection of soft and hard cheese. Each is labeled in the case with origin, price, and helpful tasting notes. They also sell craft beer in cans, bottles, and on draft. In addition, you can purchase other sauces and accoutrements for any charcuterie plate.
The real standout of this location is it's sandwich menu. The Kurt Brussels is not to be missed! Super chill outdoor backyard seating available if you arrive early, but they also have some tables out in front of the store.
Enjoyed a wonderful selection of cheeses and meats that were paired really well. My wife is gluten free and enjoyed the ciders very much as well gluten free crackers. As for myself the beer selection paired really well with the cheeses. Also glad to see that they have wine options now as well. Would definitely recommend this place and look forward to going back soon. Thanks for a wonderful night Sarah and Eric! 10/10
Tasty food & beer served by (and to) happy and smiling folks in a cozy, laid back environment. Bartender’s good for a joke or two, owners have deep laugh lines. Good music, too. It’s a nice spot to draw down a long day.
My favorite place on Ditmars to grab a beer! The staff here is the best. Great beer selection and delicious unique sandwiches.
It's usually pretty packed when I end up here, but the food is super tasty and the drinks are good too. The staff is really knowledgeable about their products.
Beautiful backyard patio, incredible selection of beers and ciders both on drafts and cans and bottles. The service system is effective and simple. The food options are also great. I could spend entire afternoons here and plan to!
Amazing beer selection and food - try the grilled cheese and the pretzel - the pimento cheese was awesome.
I only went for cheese and ham shopping, and the staff treated me very well.
They do have good selections with some special options. Just go and ask them!
Also, they have lots of draft beer for stay and taste. Would like to go for grilled cheese next time!

I've enjoyed beers, lunch, brunch and dinner here since they opened nearly 5 years ago. Fantastic selection of beers both on tap and in the fridge and the food is fantastic. Must try spot for sure.
Great beer, great food, awesome staff, nice little outside sitting area in the back. This is my go-to beer stop now--they've got all sorts of stock and no shortage of new stuff to try. Chill vibes all around, and a great place to meet some friends. Queer friendly. Definitely stop by.
Amazing incredible showstopper - it’s been several days and I’m STILL thinking about the All Choked Up sammy. The staff were super friendly + knowledgeable about their drafts, the canned selection was impressive, and the sandwiches. Oh man, the sandwiches. Get two and split them, even if you’re going solo. I regret not having a third, I would’ve made room. 🥵
One of my favorite places to grab a high quality beer and work. Such good, fresh beer and the food is also amazing. Huge fan, highly recommend ... oh you may need a hot spot though ;)
I like this bc so much, the cheeseguy there just expanded my cheesehorizons. I went back twice in a night both for the cheeses and wonderful beers.
