Jack's Meat house is arguably one of the best meat houses in Astoria and New York. If you want steak of any kind Strip, Choice, Primes, Waygu, Filet or Ribeye, this is the best place to get it. I tried Kobe Beef for the first time at Uncle Jacks, it was a whole EXPERIENCE. We came in purely by chance since it was pouring buckets outside. The atmosphere was very cool with the low lighting and the butcher shop related decor. Both of us ordered burgers and loved them, so messy but so delicious. I had the ooey-gooey one and my friend really liked the mushrooms and swiss.
The atmosphere was amazing, the drinks were tasty and presented very well. The food was also great and showed that it took time to prepare.
2nd visit and people we were not disappointed food and service were top notch ! Had the Beef Wellington could have cut it with a butter knife as for taste it was spot on ! My wife had the grilled Branzino very tender and flavorful.
