A neighborhood pub. Had a "local" vibe- at least the night I was there.
The bar area felt a little "rowdy" but in a good way. The Bartender was very nice and attentive.
I would imagine it gets pretty loud in there but that's not a bad thing.
I ordered a sandwich which was served very quickly. It was a chicken salad melt. Hot and very juicy.
Pretty good beer selection, although they didn't have my favorite - Fat Tire. They did have a nice collection of local brews.
In addition to the bar area there is a restaurant area and a very large outdoor seating area. Lots of TVs.
It's in a shopping area so there is plenty of parking. The entrance and exit is kind of convoluted because of the car wash that is across the parking lot. Lots of coming and going.
This would be a good place to go with a group of friends. I would imagine that the service is consistently pretty good based on the personalities that I saw while I was sitting there. It was very clear that there is a group of regulars, so it must be a pretty good place.
This location is outside of the downtown area, but on the main highway. It is easily accessible.
It is convenient without the downtown traffic and parking issues, but it does not have a downtown feel.
In candy bar terms, sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't. This is a good location for a casual drink and dinner with friends.
We came here on a Saturday afternoon for a late lunch. It wasn't busy and we got seated right away. Our server was friendly and attentive. The drinks are STRONG!! Not complaining though LOL. But one drink was good enough for me.
The food was good, but overpriced. I would come back again, but for the drinks. Overall great experience!
Blind Pig Tavern was busy on a Friday during lunchtime. This is normal, but they are very short-staffed. Despite their lack of staff, the team worked together to meet customers' needs. We received our appetizer and entrees altogether, which was disappointing, but they did their best. I would go back, just no time soo.
I'm not a bar food kinda person. But I was traveling wanted to watch the Bucs game. The deluxe nachos and honey BBQ wings were amazing. Great service and the game was on!!
We come here weekly and I must say it is our favorite spot in Athens! The Fri/Sat bartender's choice special is always a fun time, I always tell the waitstaff to surprise me... The cocktails are often a fun twist on a classic and never disappoint! Wings and fried pickles are great, also highly recommend their dip sampler appetizer. Overall just a great place to go. Service is always friendly and attentive, food and drinks are good, and atmosphere is enjoyable and lively. Also prices are very fair, and good for the quality. All my love to BPT!
I had chicken tenders tossed in a hot wing sause , loaded fries with chilli , white cheese, jalapenos. Everything was hot and fresh. !!!! Pitcher of beer also
Looks like a mess but tastes pretty dang good. Service was ok but food was delicious.
Just some tenders with their hottest sauce "ninja", and a cold pitcher of Bud Light. Nothing over the top to report. The sauce was not unbearable at all. A nice warmth to it. Overall a great sports bar to enjoy some beers and food.
