They are the best...forget anything you have ever experienced from the big chain ice cream places...one trip and you too will be hooked..I would recommend the banana split hurricane...the best!!!!...and the staff is always friendly..the only downfalls you will experience is the long wait but well worth it and they will be closing in around 28 days for the season
Totally worth the drive from Cleveland , great place to stop on a hot day... will be back for sure...
Always worth the 30 minute drive to get here! My family's favorite place in Athens!
They’re the only one in two states that has butterscotch sundaes.... dream sickle yogurt.... and pineapple shake.... dipped cones.... yummy
My family always receives the best service and enjoys every visit.!!
Got to stop by the dairy barn today after close to 3 years without it! Still just as delicious as ever. Oh, how I've missed cheesecake turtle hurricanes.
It was so yummy and felt like a little piece of Mayberry! I will be back next time I come to town!
Love this place & Especially the ice cream was waiting all year for it to reopen.... Yay

I had no sugar added Butter Pecan Froyo - Hubby had chocolate sundae with the works - Fast service, awesone Froyo & hubby loved his chocolate sundae - Definitely stopping again when we come through Athens, Tn & on our way back home to Ga - We Loved it !!! -
A staple of my childhood! When The Zesto closed, The Dairy Barn rescued us!
This locally owned business has amazing frozen treats of all kinds! We enjoyed Sundaes, but there are all sorts of ice cream treats to choose from.
We plan on going back one day to enjoy an old fashioned banana split.
The best ice cream ever🍦🍦 my family visited on a Friday 2 day's before Father's Day and we we're very pleased. The drive thru line was long but the staff kept it moving at a great pace. There were so many options it was hard to choose because it all looked so good. The employees we're so kind and even though the line was long you weren't rushed and they helped with our decision making. The ice cream is in my opinion the best and the price was very fair we are a family of 4 and we came out a little under $ 20.00.We will definitely visit again for the ice cream and incredible service.
Lots of toppings - great treat for the afternoon. Long lines mean good things.
It had been years since I had eaten a fried bologna sandwich. You might not find one in any of Gordon Ramsay's restaurants but you can get one at The Dairy Barn and it did not disappoint. My Strawberry Cheesecake shake was everything I could ask for as well. We don't live in the area, so it was a real hometown treat.
First time to the Dairy Barn! The staff we're friendly, we didn't have a long wait at all based on the number of people coming up to the window . My cheese burger was delicious with perfectly crisp tator tots and the chocolate banana milk shake made me wish I had gotten a large. There were real bits of banana in the shake, such a delicious surprise...Will visit again 😋!
Not a bad place for ice cream. The hot fudge cake is the best thing I've had there. It gets pretty busy in the afternoon so expect a wait.
