Great place! 21+ Food was amazing! Service was great! Drinks were tasty! We got the cheese balls and a chicken appetizer, then the 3 of us ordered burgers! The zombie apocalypse was great. The hells fury is soo hot, don't order it if you don't wanna burn your taste buds 🤣 the Mac an cheese and fries were also delicious

Loved the vibe! Stopped in with a friend from out of town while we were visiting 5 points. This was a cool little spot. I’ll definitely try some food and the funnel cake the next time, and I’ll post pictures!

Cool place with fun decor. The cuban sandwich with plantains was amazing. I got the chicken taco rolls on recommendation and I love that they have a ton of cilantro in them.

This was a very unique experience for me as usually I don't go out to bar type areas but this place just called out in an interesting way! The atmosphere is really interesting with a good feel of adult humor and welcoming. I guarantee this is a no kids zone as they ID right at the waiting area. Service was really nice and quick even during what looked like a decently busy time! And then the food itself was amazing! I got a burger with Mac and cheese, bbq sauce, and bacon and while messy, was absolutely delicious and worth the affordable price! Would highly recommend it if you're in the area!

I always forget how damned good this place is! Sat at the bar. Quick service and plentiful, delicious food. I had the house salad with chicken--huge--and onion rings that were perfectly crunchy. My friend got a burger and chili. Good beer selection. Eclectic decor. Great experience all the way around.

23 year old me is furious I’m here at 2pm on a Saturday for brunch and not getting blacked out with my pals. Times change. Being 23 is hell. Sorry for anyone in that situation currently. Food is incredible. Servers are incredible. An absolute trash dream of joy. The chimichanga with Mac n cheese inside was my favorite. Also the fried pickle spears. 10/10.

Now this is my kind of place. We were seated upstairs, which was a bit on the dimly lit side of things. Not good, not bad, just pointing it out. The menu is extensive, options on options. It was hard to make a decision. I settled on a the Freaky Tiki and was blown away. Great flavor, good portion. Asked for medium, was cooked perfectly medium, thank you! Had a couple of Angels Envy's on the rocks, standard pours. Drink menu has just about anything you could want. Server was fantastic, matched the energy of the table, checked in to make sure all was good. On top of everything, the music choice was right up my alley, which was really the icing on the metaphorical cake. Think punk/ punk rock. A Bullet For My Valentine, A Day to Remember, and similar artists. Overall, chefs kiss. You'll find me back here every time I visit Atlanta.

This is a bar that serves food. We are in our 50's and were carded as we entered. Service was friendly. The menu is available online. Read the rules, they are funny and yet necessary in current society. The food was amazing.

The Vortex is a 21 and over bar. There are very limited free parking and many more paid parking spots. Seating is fairly tight inside, however, they do have a patio area upstairs. It's enclosed and less crowded but not as much of the Vortex atmosphere. They have a very well-stocked bar and are likely to have or able to make any drink you want. We ordered the muthaclucking chicken rolls for an appetizer. They were amazing. The dipping sauce was amazing. I got the plain ole cheeseburger. I've eaten several times and have tried many of the specialty burgers so I wanted to try just a plain burger. It was far from plain. The patty tasted very good. It came with lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, and pickles. The condiments were on the table. I would recommend that burger. I got Tatar tots with mine. My daughter got fries, the tots are better. I also got a bowl of chili. I was impressed. The menu says it's hot, to me it had the right amount of heat. Not too hot to eat but just right. I do like spicy foods though. Dessert. We got the fried cheesecake and funnel cake fries. They were both amazing. Between the two, I prefer the cheesecake. Needless to say, I left stuffed. I recommend the Vortex if you're looking for a great burger and a good atmosphere.
