Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken - Atlanta - Photo album

While the food I ate was delicious, getting it was a little bit of a problem. No one seemed to know who was supposed to be my server. Everyone was very pleasant to talk to and tried to be helpful, but there must have been some miscommunication between the staff as I sat for ten minutes before gettin
We stumbled upon this place because it was close to where our conference was being held. I ordered the 3 tenders plate with ranch, mac and cheese, and potato salad. I got a water, as well. Damien was our server, and he was very nice! The food came out after about 15 minutes, and I was very excited.
What can be said about Gus? Excellent fried chicken? Of course. Is this better than your national chains? Indeed. Is is the best one I ever had? Probably not but I cannot remember a better one. The beans were excellent and the other fixin’s were good too. I am sure the mac ‘n’ cheese has its fans, b
Flew in from the Bay Area and went straight to Gus’s after checking into the hotel! Good was great, and service was even better! Nikaya was kind and responsive to our requests and even gave us a small bowl of Mac and cheese to try after we mentioned it. Great job Gus’s! Y’all just got two new cu
Soooo good! The chicken was so crispy and juicy with the sides complementing the chicken. Service wasn’t too bad. Our waiters were busy with other tables and would frequently check on us when they were coming by with other orders.
I don’t know if it’s world famous but I can see that it’s probably pretty popular around these parts. There’s nothing like a good southern fried chicken with some greens, coleslaw and fried green tomatoes. Guess this is located in the lower level of a mall so you have to look for in a bit. If you’re
I honestly don’t know how this food doesn’t have a 5/5 rating ; this is one of the best chicken I have eaten in my life; Also the fried green tomatoes and the sweet potatoes pie Is a must try; staff if friendly, the owner is the nicest man and you can tell he put some love in his food; we loved it s
Okay so the first time I saw Gus’s I was walking past them to go to CVS and all I smelled was the fried chicken. That’s when I knew I had to go lol Finally got around to going and I went with a friend. The menu is what you would expect from like a chicken spot somewhere in the country but the food w
It took them a while to sit us down. The chicken was good, but too spicy and it well done inside. The location was great within the area we stayed at.
I was visiting from Oklahoma and was told I had to come have Gus's. The restaurant was small, clean, and comfortable. Waitress was friendly and fast, and you could tell she meant business. I ordered the fried green tomatoes for an appetizer. They must've come right out of the frier, which I very mu
I lived in Memphis for 12 years. We often went to Gus’s Chicken Downtown Memphis. The chicken was always flavorful and delicious. This was my first time eating at Gus’s Chicken here in Norcross. The chicken was tasty and well done , but was lacking the flavorful taste that I’m accustomed to at Gu
Small quiet spot to grab a nice plate of chicken. Server said it was hot and Spicy. My daughter and I both agree it came out nice and hot fresh very good and flavorful, but not so spicy. Service was great, polite, fast. A bit overpriced for what you get but still not bad. $57 for 3 people. No onsit
Great, spicy flavor. Super crunchy, crispy, juicy, and good size. Everything was great!! The mac and cheese is some of the best i’ve had in a long time. My favorite food is fried chicken and this place is probably one of my favorites. Super quick, super friendly staff, super down to earth, and reas
For the record, I need you to understand the level of excitement that came over me at the fact that I was finally able to try Gus’s! I have a girlfriend who has told me on more than one occasion that Gus’s was the best fried chicken she has ever had in her life. As such, I had to go! After years o
Very good chicken and fish. The wait time is painful so order ahead of time. The price per portion will leave some folk hungry but they have great flavor if you have great patience. The staff was super friendly and kept checking in to let us know the food was still cooking. Personal Note: This feel
Loved it, chickens was great, really liked the fried okra, portions are the right size - not too large. Good selection of beer, you get a can but also a frozen mug if you ask for one. Definitely well worth the visit!
Went and experienced Gus’s World Famous and it was a HIT! The staff was friendly, the restaurant was clean, and well lit. It gave me the down home family restaurant feel! The chicken was crispy, freshly cooked, and juicy!
Fried green tomatoes and chicken were so good. The food was freshly cooked and piping hot. I always come here every time I’m in town.
Had fun visiting Gus’s for the first time during my lunch break. Our server was fun and kept a smile on our face. She was very accommodating as well. We all tried the lunch special that was very reasonably priced. The fried green tomatoes were nice and piping hot. The chicken is very crispy but coul
