We decided to visit the Sun Dial to celebrate my sons 16th birthday. It was our first visit and we will definitely be back. The crab cakes are by far the best I have ever had. We tried a bit of everything from lobster bisque, crab cakes and steak. Everything was amazing and to top off the great food the service was amazing. Thanks for everything and we will definitely be back!
It’s probably the best restaurant I’ve ever had the pleasure of dining at. The view was spectacular, the service was on point and the food was great! Definitely would do it again!
We had a wonderful time there for brunch yesterday. The food was delicious and the view...breathtaking! And our waitress was wonderful and so sweet! I definitely recommend it!
Had an awesome time at The Sun Dial Restaurant was a great surprise for my 41st bday will definitely remember this one the view was amazing even had a rainbow how perfect is that? The food was delicious and our server was more than accommodating will be coming back soon for sure.

I am giving this place 5 stars for a very special evening together with my Honey. We were able to experience the SunDial here in Atlanta to celebrate our anniversary. We made it at sunset and when the sun had set, the Atlanta lit up skyline was beautiful. Our service, by Peter was fantastic. Attentive, personable, and professional. Our food was definitely flavored and perfectly cooked. Even though we were full, we had the full experience topping it off with some chocolate cake. If you’d like this special experience, I’d definitely recommend.
I recommend this place. It is perfect for a romantic date during sunset. Definitely not cheap, but it is worth it to go at least once. The view is breathtaking. Special recognition for our server, Moon, who went above and beyond to help me prepare a surprise for my boyfriend before he left the country.
I ordered the lobster bisque and the Scallops over wild rice. The restaurant was no longer rotating when I visited. The staff were welcoming and attentive. The food was pretty solid no complaints. Would love to see them get some mixologists in there and develop their bar program.
Beautiful, almost breath taking scenery. They have a different menu for larger groups that don't give substitute, as was told by our server. The server/waiter we had was pretty aggressive with a lot of unnecessary attitude. There were other kind workers.
The food was mediocre, especially for what they were priced at. Think of it this way: you're paying for the views.
My boyfriend made reservations for this restaurant for my birthday. When we arrived we parked on the street nearby. We walked in, and the restaurant is located on the 72nd floor. The restaurant and views are very nice. It was foggy because of the weather so I couldn't get good pictures.
We had a wonderful server (I believe her name was Shawna). I started with the pinot nior, which was tasty. For my meal, I got the Southern Fried Airline Chicken, and my boyfriend got the salmon. The food was very good, a bit pricey but good. I had such a good experience!
Beautiful view at night time. Need some updating on their interior. Seems outdated. The four chairs at our table were wobbly. I only recommend the smoked pork belly.
Six course Christmas dinner. The Halibut was really good. Great tasting mixed drinks. Valet parking and they stamp ticket if you park across the street.
Throw away all your steak recipes and go get one of these. Mouth watering, tender, perfection. All of the food was wonderful. Atmosphere was fantastic, views were amazing.
It’s definitely not cheap. I don’t like how the hostess tells every single guest they have to buy an entree & not just appetizers. One it felt insulting and two, what if someone made reservations, got there and then realized they couldn’t enjoy the full menu? IMHO, I think it would be better to say it when folks made their reservations and then let the customer decide what they want to order once they get there regardless. I knew I what I was getting into, so I didn’t need to be given a minimum.
Besides that, I definitely would want to go again and have Michael as a server.

Went for my birthday. Husband made a reservation and was able to be seated before the time since it wasn't really busy. Server was very informative with the menu and Atlanta itself since I'm new to the city. Don't expect it to move to see the whole city as you eat. There was an incident that happened that was tragic that stopped them from operating that feature/perk. Yeah I researched it. What a terrible tragedy. Other than that, the views are amazing during sunset. The food and drinks were great. You receive the same glasses as your daiquiri before you depart. Overall great experience!
On the 72nd floor of the Westin tower Atlanta an excellent restaurant with beautiful views. Excellent service and spectacular food. Everything was perfect, lobster, fish (grouper and snapper) fillet, chicken appetizers, cocktails, desserts
This was a beautiful place! The food is pricey, but the view, great food, and excellent service made it worth it!
We even enjoyed the elevator ride with a view of the city.
Sun Dial has been on my bucket list since I moved to Atl. Finally, I made it there to celebrate Father's Day with my fiance.
It was everything the reviews said. The view alone is worth it. The elevator ride to the 72nd floor is breathtaking. Don't look out or down if you are scared.
My food was missing some seasoning was my only complaint.
Valet parking is available as well as street parking.
Definitely had a great time and will be back to catch the nighttime view.
