I would have to say I was pleasantly surprised because ordering on DoorDash is a hit or miss but the was good. The food was seasoned well, still warm, and you can tell effort was put in. Stopped by on a weeknight for dinner. The place was pretty busy, but we were seated right away with hot rolls and cornbread! The service was great, and food was quick. Everything was tasty. They have so many veggies, and a fish plate, definitely vegetarian friendly options.
My spouse and I have been eating at Roasters for about 20 years. The food is great as well as the service. The staff is very conscientious! We appreciate the hospitality. We also appreciate the many healthy options for us seniors who are trying to reduce cholesterol and eat healthier.
Good southern meat. The country fried chicken with salad and mash potatoes on side is a good match, the chicken is not that crispy and thick.
