Great little BBQ place! Had the burnt ends (special) and hot links sausage. Sausage was tasty and just the right heat, will definitely try those again. Burnt ends were good. Four Rivers is still the Gold Standard for Burnt Enda. Wife had salad with chicken, the chicken was moist and smoky, was complemented nicely with their Carolina vinegar-based sauce. Coming back for more.
Went to this place on a whim while visiting the Buckhead area. Told the waitress to bring me her best lunch selection -- surprise me. She brought ribs, brisket, mac-n-cheese and collard greens. All were excellent. The rub on the ribs had just the right hint of sweetness to it. Allman Brothers in the background, too. My compliments.
What is Labor Day without some BBQ? I chose the Greater Good due to the high score and it did not disappoint. The chopped brisket was very moist and flavorful. The baby back ribs, while not fall off the bone tender were good. The piping hot beans and mustard potato salad were great sides.
There are four sauce choices on the table, house, sweet, Carolina and hot. The house and sweet were to sweet for me. The Carolina would make true Carolina BBQ fans complain on its authenticity but it was my favorite- slight vinegar taste but thicker.
My two meant plate plus tea -$19.12
The sides were worth the trip!. Collards and mac-cheese were excellent! The dry ribs were well done as well. The service was quick and very friendly. The dining area is very cramped and rather hot with a front door that is open constantly. Fans would help this situation.
This place is awesome. The ribs are awesome and only topped by the amazing smoked chicken. The service is amazing. Great BBQ atmosphere with the wooden porch and blues playing all the time.
Top tier. Great pork, brisket, and sides. It's my second choice these days (Fox Brothers being first). The only problems are the small parking lot and the VERY small dining room. I believe that this location was originally one of the small Taco Bell restaurants from 30 years ago.
Even though I live only a few miles from this store, I still drive all the way to the Tucker location because that location has neither of the above problems.
This place is a great local joint with lots of choices (pork, brisket, chicken) and sauces at the table. Portions are plenty and sides are tasty! Just walking in and taking a deep breath made me even hungrier!
Top Notch BBQ. Stopped in to try it out today. Don't let the bad location and unassuming exterior fool you...this is some kick-ass Q! I just had the pulled pork sandwich, but it was piled high with tender chunks of pork that were smokey good with just enough charred ends to give it a great flavor even with minimal sauce. Can't wait to go back and try the ribs and chicken.
BBQ competition in this town is epic as it is in my southern cities. If you can't hang you won't be able to pay your rent for long.
Highly recommended - with great pleasure.
Truly an outstanding dining experience from the front of house through the back of house! Everyone was so sweet, attentive, and kind.
We enjoyed an excellent late luncheon yesterday with BBQ fans from Texas, Alabama, South Carolina, and Pennsylvania. The meats, sides, and sauces were all spot on and thoroughly enjoyed. An excellent variety of icy, crisp, cold beer and wine were available as were iced tea.
We opted out of dessert and took a stroll at nearby Chastain Park with several boxes of leftovers. So it's also a great value!
Really good barbecue specially for the city. Not as smoky as I like my barbecue but it has a hint of hickory to the flavor.
The ribs are tender fall off the bone and is well prepared and seasoned. The pulled pork is the same very good seasoning shredded just right. Love the extra side of pickles.
The Carolina barbecue sauce is really good and so is the hot barbecue sauce spicy version.
The Brunswick stew not so good, too much corn not enough flavor of BBQ. Brunswick stew should have pieces of barbecue in it and I could find none.
The collar greens were delicious and so was the toast.
I would definitely go back here, great environment, outside and inside seating, great service, people are very nice and very helpful. And attentive to the table.
I love this place!! The ribs are so tender and season so good. The fried ribs fall off the bone. The food is always served fresh and hot just look at that smoke. I was so disappointed to find out the other 2 locations had closed but at least the location on Roswell Rd is still open.
Our son lives in Atlanta and every time we come we go to Greater Good BBQ. Best BBQ between here and Ocoee,TN. Great sweet tea. Very friendly and helpful servers. Food is fast and hot. It always tastes the same...great!!! Pork is tender and tasty. The green beans are absolutely delicious. Baked beans are true southern style and wonderful. My son loves the hot links, but I love the pork plate so much I've never ordered anything else! You have to try this place. You will love it!!!
First timers and we loved it. We both had pulled pork. I had the plate. It comes with 2 sides and it looked like about a half pound of juicy meat. Sides are usually an afterthought but their green beans and collards are AMAZING. Wifey had the sandwich. It comes with 1 side. If you come near closing time don’t get weird if they’re out of certain items. Come earlier next time.
Very good. Great service, food came quickly, very tasty bbq. I got the sliced brisket and it was very moist. Hubby got the brisket burger and he enjoyed his also. Plus they are ATL United soccer fans!!! Make sure to top off whatever you get with their hot sauce in the caddy.
Fantastic BBQ joint! Great atmosphere, excellent service, and most of all, GREAT BBQ! I had the daily special Burnt Ends with fried okra and Mac and cheese. At 2:30pm, my order was on the table in under 5 mins. The flavor was fantastic, healthy portion, all for the price typical for BBQ. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for quality BBQ.
The food was so delicious. Even though they were nearing closing time, my food was still very hot and good quality and left me full! Would recommend for those who want GOOD BBQ.
The portions were good and the ribs were very tender. I also had the cheesy taco which was very appealing. The brisket was a lil tough and dry and the fried ribs were fired hard and oily. Still a great place in my opinion
Awesome ribs, went there with friends and split two full orders. Ordered dry rub. Ribs came of the bone. Fantastic. Nice service. Did I say it was delicious. Highly recommended.
Very tiny place with limited seating & parking. Within 10 minutes of being inside we had our food which was hot & fresh. I’m not a big fan of the BBQ sauce selection. I prefer a sweet thick sauce. Definitely affordable & you’ll be full when you leave.
I love this place there BBQ is the best in this area. I always get the mac&cheese. And the service 5 ⭐ the name of the waitresses was kat and she is just amazing.
Yum. Yum. Yum. Hands down my favorite BBQ joint! Found this place by way of google reviews & they told nothing but the truth. They do run out of ribs occasionally on weekends but the food is good and the service is on point.
Some of the best BBQ I’ve ever had. From the brisket, pulled pork, and ribs, to the mac & cheese, collard greens, and other sides, everything was fantastic!! Service was fast and attentive, and prices were good. If you haven’t been, you’re missing out!!!
This is a solid BBQ joint. I went towards the end of the night so my ribs were pretty dry. The tangy BBQ sauce helped wet it down again though.
It's a calm atmosphere with fine service. Overall, good stuff with nice flavors.
It's a great option for groups, the bbq is really good, many options to choose from, my friends said the ribs were not that good though. The beat for me was the mac and cheese, I just loved it.
