Great space, and great food! We got there as the night was winding down, but they welcomed us with open arms. The service was genuine, warm, and friendly. We started with the quartet of spreads which were very tasty. We tried the Scallops and Beet Risotto for entrees. The Scallops were perfectly prepared, and the Risotto was awesome! Upon the chef's recommendation, we added a little butter and cheese to the Risotto that really rounded out the dish. I've never been afraid of a little butter, and boy was I a happy camper! We also got a chance to try some Broccoli Rabe. It was spicy, crunchy, and so flavorful. For dessert we had a great chocolate pudding/mousse with homemade Praline, Raspberry, and whipped cream. The patio seating truly made the meal, and we can't wait to go back again. It is truly a gem in the heart of Grant Park! :D
An elegantly understated place with a great casual vibe. The food is fresh fresh fresh! Every detail is thought out - from tasteful decor to the selections of wine and music, to the dressed up "house salad". I tried baked feta and scallops, both delicious, and a flourless chocolate cake. I am not gluten-intolerant and generally don't care for gluten-free options but for a menu that's as flavorful and satisfying as Mediterranea's, being gluten-free is a welcome bonus.
I've never had a bad experience at Mediterranea. The staff is 5 stars, food is 5 stars, atmosphere is 5 stars, roof top is 5 stars, etc. My favorite item on the menu is actually from the bakery. The Cheddar and Chive scones are 6-7 stars. Outstanding! I would def. recommend this place to anyone!
I adore this place. Bakery items are always insanely DELICIOUS and I've not had a bad food item either. I truly love this place and can't tell everything is gluten free (even thought that's the reason I ate there in the first place).
Delicious food and good service. All business and attention to detail. A bit loud but the place was full. Overall, loved it and I'll be back. FYI mostly seafood here.
A throughly wonderful, friendly and welcoming place. Gloriously attentive management and staff serving scrumptious concoctions that are beyond tasty and a little bit good for you too. The gluten free bread pudding was the piece de resistance.!!!!

Yum yum yum yum yum! I had the kale dolmas. My son had the roasted chicken. We split two salads: the sweet potato and arugula and the white bean with green beans and watermelon radish. All terrific!

This place is amazing. Great food. Our server ,Ally, was great. The butternut squash soup was out of this world the same as the chicken sandwich. My husband and sons had the hummus wrap and the grain bowls and we loved everything. Definitely coming back .

I had the pan seared scallops and my fiancé had the herbed chicken, both were wonderful. The scallops were perfectly seared and the chicken was very flavorful and tender. The wine, service, and atmosphere were all excellent as well. Mediterranea is such an amazing addition to Grant Park.

Casual, elegantly understated says it. Both rooftop and indoor seating are lovely. We had three entrees on the brunch menu and all were exceptional. I scooped up the lunch and dinner menus. Can't wait to try both this week.

Mediterranea is an absolute delight and our only regret is not discovering it sooner! Everything in the menu is gluten-free which is super nice for those with a gluten allergy or intolerance, but the even better part is you wouldn’t have any idea there’s no gluten because the food is all fantastic. We’ve had two different lasagnas, white cheese pizza, the beef kofta, dolmas (grape leaves), Mediterranean spreads, and oh my goodness the limoncello tiramisu… so, so good. They’ve got plenty of wines by the glass & a nice bottle selection, and actually have a phenomenal variety of non-alcoholic options as well. Service is welcoming, knowledgeable, and very friendly. Prices are also quite reasonable - especially given the quality! The owners are usually around and are super nice. This will easily become a go-to spot for us!
This is a gem of a location. The area is nice, there's even a nice playground across the street. The interior is modern chic, very clean and appealing. Service is outstanding. This is a gluten free restaurant and, it is amazing! My wife has #Celiac and it's very hard for us to find a place where she feels safe eating. Mediterranea is that place. She can order anything and have peace of mind. The food is delicious and meticulously prepared.
I was visiting on business and had to try a dedicated gluten-free restaurant. I was staying in Newnan and ordered takeout to save time because it's pretty far, but it was worth it. The food is very delicious. The chicken pizza was so amazing that I had to have it again. The crust is very soft and chewy. It's hard to believe it's gluten-free. The best gf pizza I've eaten. The lasagna was incredibly good.
Gluten-Free paradise! Mediterranea is a dedicated gluten-free restaurant. All of the food is 100% deliciously gluten-free. The food is authentic and beautifully presented.
We had a full spread including: turkey meatball appetizer, Moussaka, meat pizza, broccoli salad, pecan pie, and the chocolate mousse. ALL of it was delicious. Especially the moussaka (perfect bechamel). You will not regret this dining decision!
The restaurant is beautiful inside. Peaceful jazz music from high quality Bose sound systems. The acoustics of the space are very calming. The restrooms are very clean and smelled nice. Our waitress, Carla was extremely polite, knowledgeable, and welcoming. I cannot wait to return!
They’re back! Took a while coming out of Covid times but our recent meal and several neighbors’ meals were great. All gluten free but you wouldn’t believe it. The focaccia is phenomenal. Think I might go back again next week.
Everything is Gluten Free! Have some lasagna, have a pizza, go ahead and eat that focaccia bread! Everything was amazing, I mean really really good. If we had been in town longer we would have gone back there, over trying a new place. The non-gluten free eaters along with us said they couldn't even tell it was GF and thought the food was wonderful. Our server was so sweet and did a fantastic job making our experience 5 plus stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

This place is fantastic. We drive down, way out of our way, whenever we get a chance. The food is absolutely delicious. The moussaka is amazing. Best meal I’ve had since I visited Greece years ago, prior to finding out I had Celiac, and everything is safe! My husband, who loves gluten, loves this restaurant just as much as I do which says so much. Eat here! I could not recommend them more!

One of the best dinners I have had in Atlanta. The food is well-seasoned and has a beautiful balance of flavors. The involtini was fantastic and I recommend it if you want a slightly lighter option vs the spinach and mushroom lasagna which is also excellent. The dolmas for the appetizer came with tzatziki sauce and the filling was amazing. Finally, the butterscotch pecan pie at the end was a great way to end the meal. The crust of the pie is one of best I have had.
Excellent food and service! Such a treasure in Grant Park! Bonus that everything is gluten free, but you would never know based on how delicious everything is.
So, first off my girlfriend and I came here for dinner AND again the next day for brunch. So dang good! Also, I have Celiac and this place is 100% gluten free and certified. I can eat all of the deliciousness!
A lovely place for brunch, Mediterranea offers a flavorful array of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options. The rooftop patio overlooks nearby Ormond Park in the heart of the Grant Park neighborhood. I look forward to returning and sampling the extensive scone collection.
Only got takeout, but the food is very tasty. Gluten free pizza is not easy to do and theirs is full of flavor and the dough appears to be homemade versus the pre-made frozen stuff most places have. Still lacking that airy edge on the crust, but the flavor and quality make up for it. I've tried about 6-7 different GF pizzas in ATL because my wife has celiac and this is currently in 2nd place overall, to give some perspective. The Dolma's were also delicious and I could've eaten a whole order to myself. Will definitely go back to try more!
I was gobsmacked that they had gluten free everything. It is a game changer for the gluten intolerant. Everything was delicious, and I honestly didn’t believe the pecan pie was gluten free. It was amazing, and I wish I had a place like this near home!!
Update - They are managing during COVID, it's all delivery and takeout right now but the food remains amazing. Support local and eat here!! Hopefully their lovely indoor dining option will be back soon.

This restaurant is seriously amazing. I picked up baked goods one day, then brought colleagues for dinner another night and everything was delicious across the board. Pastries were yummy, dinner options were tasty (the risotto was delicious) and the bread pudding dessert for dinner WAS TO DIE FOR. I can't wait to go back to Atlanta just to eat here. I need this place because it's all Gluten Free (all of it!!!!!) But the thing is....no one would know it's all GF without looking up the website. It's delicious and you can't tell it's GF! Also, the staff and owners/pastry chef are SO nice and easy to work with. I was trying to plan a catering event and it went awry on my end, but they were super helpful and great to work with. Thanks guys - I'll be back!!!!
