The quality of the food, amicability of the staff, and the infectious delightfulness of the chef leads to a fantastic dinner and brunch experience. The bar staff regularly steps up on wine selection and custom cocktails. I eat here at least once a week and am never disappointed.

Good food and good service on Thanksgiving. The waitstaff was attentive without being intrusive, and the Thanksgiving buffet was excellent. They had a map of the buffet on the flip side of the beverage menu, which helped in deciding what i wanted before being in line. A very good meal.

Dinner was great, beginning with the sample of tomato bisque and popcorn on the table. The soup was amazing and I could have eaten a large bowl of it. Appetizers were all delicious, wine was excellent, the entree was also very well prepared and tasty. We tried 3 desserts and they were devoured in an instant. Service was wonderful too. We were a party of 6 and we all loved our meal.

As delicious and creative as the food and drinks are at this restaurant, it's honestly the staff that make this a delightful place to dine and imbibe. The staff are knowledgeable of food and beverage pairings and the head chef frequently stops to chat with patrons. I just can't speak highly enough of The Shed. Check out their calendar for their weekly events/ specials.

By the time we arrived, it was hot as blue blazes and we were still in a whirlwind from walking around the very crowded Krog Street Market. We were looking for somewhere we could eat and relax while getting a chance to cool off at the same time. The Shed at Glenwood was welcoming right from the start and we were quickly seated and greeted by Matt, our server, who promptly provided us with some refreshing beverages.

I have been hearing some really good things through the foodie grapevine about the Sunday brunch and was so excited to see what all the fuss was about. For those of you who have been reading our blog for some time, you know we are especially skeptical when we hear good things. This is probably because we seldom find them to be true. The Shed at Glenwood though, met and exceeded our expectations!

Great food, wine and service. We dined at Sunday brunch and the food was excellent and we recommend: lamb and brisket sliders, beet salad, arugula salad, grits and zucchini bread. Wine list was well chosen and the "red of the week" was good as well as the pinot noir sparkler. There were three large group and the kitchen was very busy and a little slow but the attentive service compensated.

Great food, great service, great experience!. We will be back to The Shed for sure! We had a delicious meal and received top-notch service! For an appetizer, we ordered the risotto balls with plum tomato sauce. It was presented beautifully with a vivid green and red sauce. For an entree, I had the rigatoni and my husband had one of the fried egg burgers and crisp, well-seasoned fries. We also enjoyed the dim lighting and inviting atmosphere!

Amazing! A friend and I had a couple of beers at the bar, the Sweetwater exodus was so delicious. Then Chris took us to an outside table and took care of us. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and so nice. We had the mussels in white wine sauce for an app. Mmmhmmm. Then we got the duck with sunchokes and the shepherds pie. Both were scrumptious and decently sizes portions. I highly recommend this place and request Chris!!

We had the most delightful meal here tonight. Service was excellent, everything from appetizers to desserts were delicious, and it was kid friendly. The owner dropped by to see how the meal was going and I told him he has a new regular who can't wait to let her friends know to go there ASAP.

One Restaurant for Any Palate. Finally, a place where I can take my group of friends for a meal and have not a single one walk out unsatiated. We are a hard pack to please - some of us swear by beer with dinner, others require chichi cocktails with liquors I've never heard of, and I almost always aim to try a new wine. So if one person isn't disgruntled by the time we start talking about appetizers, I consider us off to a good start. But the Shed eased us in with their nice mix of comfort beers and off-the-beaten-path ones, imaginative specialty cocktail list (including an Aperol-based drink, which really touched my friend Dean in a special place), and $20 wine bottle special with many varietals to choose from. Even if I was being cheap, I was still impressed with the lower-than-usual prices on several well-known options from their standard wine menu, too.
With drinks in our hands, I thought there was no way we'd get through dinner totally unscathed: one of us is vegetarian, another can't do gluten, one gets scared of anything he doesn't understand, and I always want to eat the weird things or cute animals. For both the appetizer course and entree, we were all perfectly happy with our choices! I got to eat chicken hearts - they tasted like sausage - followed by delicious braised baby goat. Our vegetarian made a dinner of small plates and veggie sides, including a goat-cheese-stuffed pepper she raved about and refused to share, and probably ended up eating even more than the rest of us. My friend with the gluten allergy was pleasantly surprised and remarked that a good portion of the menu either was already a go for her or could easily be modified to be so. And the burger our shy-stomached friend had looked as good as those being rolled out at the gourmet joints around town.
Though we were all stuffed, most of us found room to share a Ding Dong - and as we let its chocolatey goodness become the icing on the cake of our dinner, we realized we'd done it - we'd all be leaving happy. And when we got our checks, we didn't even have to break the bank to do it.
We'll be back - impeccable service, delicious food, great price

Nice Atmosphere, nice folks.. Stopped in for an early Sunday dinner and was surprised with how busy they were.
I started with the peach and ricotta crostini w/ arugula and pistachios. I was a little surprised that this came on a piece of toast and was, in a word, bland. For a main, I went with a selection of the regular sliders (vs the premium sliders): Cod, fried heirloom tomato & goat cheese, and Cuban. The tomato was pretty darned good, with the Cuban close behind, while the cod was a little blah. For desert, I picked the profiteroles that were good, not great (a little on the tough side).
Ultimately, well worth the reasonable price and the great atmosphere.. and someplace I'd go to a lot if I lived in the area... just think I ordered too many bread-centric items and had a couple misses...

Elegant!. We came in from NYC to visit family and had heard about this via an internet advertisement. Overall, this was a wonderful restaurant. However, my daughter said that the cheese and Mac Sucks, so they need to work on that a bit. But it is an elegant restaurant, and not really targeted to the kids. My wife, Myrtle, ate the crepes went crazy over them. The mini burgers were rEdiculously good, maybe I could find the recipe on the Net. They were out of the elusive Foie Gras Dishon Platter when I was there, but I hope it remains on the menu, as I keep hearing how good it is. We came in with some friends from Gainesville, and their mouths just watered over the Grilled Meyer Ribeye. Succulent is the word the used. They also asked the chef about a grilled Tebown, and they were in luck as Tebown tips are on the kids menu, and one of their sons just gobbled that up.

Overall, I would kill to have a restaurant of this caliber and price range in my neighborhood. It's gold!

Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. The southern inspired fine dining menu is a flippity flappin breath of fresh air for a city drowning in the hum-drum.

The Pork Schnitzel is some seriously good schnit.

The Shed Benedict, will make you apologize if you've ever beenadick.

I actually had my first Bloody Mary there, I'd had drinks at many bars and restaurants that had been called Bloody Marys but I had my first REAL BLOODY MARY at the Shed.

The Fried Diver Scallops were good, but who are we kidding, you could fry a cat turd and it would taste good.

The Chicken Liver Bacon Brushetta was so good I tried to make it at home, and failed miserably.

The Chicken Hearts, I mean other than at your grandma's house and and at Porcao in Rio, where are you going to get these dark meat delights?

Overall it the Shed delivers a fine dining menu with a Twist in a comfortable, casual atmosphere at non fine dining prices. And that's no Mumbo Jumbo

I'm going to go every time I'm in Atlanta (I've been three times so far)

Neighborhood Gem. The Shed is, to quote Ferris Bueller, "So Choice." I highly suggest that you give it a go if you're in the metro anywhere, not just in East Atlanta.

The Scallop Sliders with Jalapeno Cole slaw were exceptional. On slider night (wednesday) I tried the Pork Schnitzel with Pear Jam... phenomenal. Simply amazing.

In the three visits I've already made, everything there has been great.

Wasnt disappointed. Had been wanting to try the Shed and finally did tonight. Just did some of the basics, sliders, fries, onion rings and the ding dong for dessert. Angus, fish, chicken, barbacoa sliders were all pleasing but the pork schnitzel was extra tasty all be it too small. Fries were big and fresh. Cooked just right. The onion rings were satisfactory. Ding dong dessert was simple and well done. I'll be going back for more soon.....

S-brunch-umptious!. I don't know what a "buscuit" is, but if it's anything like the "biscuit" with which we began our brunch at The Shed this morning, then it is delicious, housemade, and a bargain in the Pastry Basket - $3 for 3 pastries. From there, my insatiable curiosity took me to the chicken hearts dish, while my companion enjoyed the frittata. Both were delectable, though I found myself momentarily struck by the aesthetic and gustatory perfection of her dish - if Quiche and Omelet each proffered the best of their DNA, the recombinant offspring would undoubtedly be what I saw served here. A generous portion of grits from local Logan Turnpike Mill and a fresh blackberry/mint bellini were our savory and sweet accompaniment.
The warm glow, high ceilings, and ambient jazz provided a welcoming escape from the doldrum-y weekend. Other pluses include the genuinely (re: not off-puttingly, like at many other places) enthusiastic and attentive staff, the unusually yummy coffee, and outdoor seating for days unlike today. We will be back, and probably very soon.

Just what I needed. We really enjoyed our meal here...had never been before and didnt realize this neighborhood existed!!

What a surprise--we had enjoyed Chef Lance's food many times before at Shaun's and Mid City but hadn't realized he had moved to The Shed.

Pancakes were to die for-- and my wife wouldnt let me try her omelette so I know that was good too! So nice to have a place so close to home for a great brunch and coffee worth drinking!

We already have plans to return for dinner soon---we cannot wait!

Sleeper!!. I had heard about this place from several folks but hadnt been until this week. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised when I got my first dish....the Scallop sliders. Totally amazing. Perfectly spiced--perfectly cooked and delicious. Our entrees were equally impressive--I had the (huge) porkchop and my wife had the Braised Brisket Ravioli.

Service was very efficient and friendly and the whole place just seemed to be exactly what we were looking for---great food in a very cozy and casual atmosphere.

Thanks to Cindy the owner for making our first visit so memorable.

A Neighbourhood Gem in East Atlanta. The restaurant has an admirable menu and wine list. It looks clean and tidy all the time. The service is consistently good. In addition, the restaurant has professional and friendly bartenders, especially the one working on Friday night. THE SHED. I have been to THE Shed several times within the last few months...and it is truly a hidden gem. If I had to use three words to describe it.... they would be Eclectic, Organic, and Local. The location is in one of the most impressive communities in Atlanta. When you walk into the place, you automatically get the feel of a semi trendy loft that permeates with the smell of bone sticking food. I used to be a rather picky eater...but this place has expanded my pallet. The seafood dishes are incredible...and the hearty meat is divine. You got score something good ranging from an incredible hamburger all the way up to some exotic seafood. The appetizers are great and just enough to get you craving more. Their use of truffle oil is a rather new thing for me...but one that i wish more establishments carried out. Oh and the drinks..are intoxicating. Oh and cant forget the desserts! They are rich, eclectic, and just the right finish to the meal. This place feels like a neighborhood dwelling with neighborhood prices but at the same time feel like a midtown calibur restaraunt. I dont think you can go wrong here. I will definitely be returning very soon

Simple sophistication. This place is a gem. There is a simple purity to the dishes like the pork chop and the chicken that makes you celebrate each bite. The Shed is the only place in Atlanta where you may be surprised with an amuse bouche, outside of the long-gone Seegers and Joel. Yet there is a refreshing absence of pretense from the staff.

In the half-dozen or more times I have dined there I have never had the same dish twice. Cindy always serves the freshest and best locally grown vegetables to compliment the proteins. "Green" greens, if you will!!

The service at The Shed is unparalleled. At a recent dinner there, our party was discussing Absinthe. Most of us had never tried it. In no time flat, Cindy presented with our own sample! So The Shed is green in more ways than one.

You are sure to have a wonderful experience there, whether for brunch, dinner or just drinks and appetizers.
Try it! You won't be disappointed.

Charming and original. The ever-changing menu and creative cocktails that compliment the season are what keep me coming back to The Shed at Glenwood. While many places are doing the farm to table thing, The Shed actually prints on the menu where a lot of the produce and meats are from. Service is awesome too. The wine is poured at the table so you can ensure you are getting what you order. And they have some good hidden drink specials. Just ask. It is a great addition to the neighborhood and a good reason to drive into the city for an awesome meal.

Lovely!. So much more than a great local eatery. We like to hang out at the bar when we escape for an evening, excellent oysters and a great selection of wines and always some really delicious cocktails from Caroline, the uber creative bar manager. Or we take the kids for brunch, I have never seen my 2 1/2 year old wolf down a plate of pancakes so quickly that we are having her next birthday party here!

Last Wednesday, my guest & I were invited to dine at The Shed at Glenwood located in the heart of the lively Glenwood Park neighborhood off of Moreland Avenue. I first visited The Shed at Glenwood after it had been open a couple of months. I didn't enjoy it at all. However, as time went by, my friends kept urging me to give it another shot, insisting it had improved. My friend, Beth, who is The Shed's biggest fan kept inviting me to go for brunch. After a while, being the total brunch fiend that I am, I relented and went along with a pocket full of reservations. It ended up being the first of many brunch visits to follow. My first took place on the morning after Halloween where I was shocked to find the restaurant PACKED. Even more shocking? The steady stream of fresh, quality food coming out of the kitchen to stock the buffet line. I mean, how often are buffets so good it makes you want to come back for more? A plateful of exceptional chicken chilaquiles , crispy bacon, creamy scrambled eggs, and a chicken salad slider. The chilaquiles have become my go to order here My next visits were for brunch on non-buffet days and everything was top-sh

I’ve been to the Shed a few times and it never disappoints. The service is a great and the staff is friendly. I ordered the fried chicken omelette. I was a bit skeptical about having fried chicken in my omelette but it was decent. I don’t think I would order it again. I’ve had better things but it wasn’t bad. The Fish and Grits are delicious. I do enjoy The Shed for brunch and dinner.

Great brunch place. Wide range of options on the menu. I had the steak and eggs. (Substituted the roasted potatoes to try their fried green tomatoes). Steak was cooked medium well to my liking. Biscuit was soft & fluffy and went well with the jelly spread I was given. Very satisfied with the service of The Shed! I’ll be back.

Food was good but the service was excellent. We had dinner there yesterday evening at 6pm which was a Sat night. There were 11 of us in our group. The entire staff was very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. One of my friends mentioned she ate gluten free so they had the chef mark all the gluten free options on a menu for her. The wine was very good. They offer a small but very tasty menu and I will definitely go back.

The food was delicious and the servers were really nice! We have been here a few times now for brunch and the service is always fast. We have never had a meal that was anything less than delicious from here, which is why it is our go to brunch spot. The food also isn't terribly expensive, the meal I got last time I was there was $10 for a hearty serving of French toast, which was Instagram worthy.

Back when the world was open, I made a very last minute reservation pretty close to closing time. This is usually a big no no for me but I knew exactly what I wanted on their menu so we planned to be in and out. Walked in and they had a table set, reserved, and were greeted with a smile.
