Delicious food enjoyed on the rooftop patio! The salmon tacos my friend had and shared with me were sooo good! I had one of their Cuban sandwiches. Also great, as was the pitcher of margaritas 😋🍹

Wonderful food. I stopped by on a quick turn visit and had wonderful fish tacos, Madurai and chips. The Paella looks fabulous! Highly recommend.

Wonderful place and service. Their dishes are very tasteful and they have a great option of Latin planes from different countries. Besides that they have a good cost benefit.

One of my favorite places! They have the best tostones and I love their Ensalda Pescado! The Fish enchiladas are excellent too! So many delicious things on their menu!

Food was fantastic, as to be expected by La Fonda, but service was VERY slow. Took forever to get our orders in, get food and then the check. It was very busy though, so I'm not holding this against them. Plus, the food is goated. I got the fish enchiladas. FIRE!! 🔥🔥🔥

This is a true local haunt! Their paella is a house specialty, it's delicious. I got the one with shrimp, chorizo, calamari and squid. So good! I also love that their menu varies from Cuban dishes to Mexican and probably a few Spanish dishes in between. So you can get fish tacos or you can get a roast chicken. Everything I've had here is good. I give it 4 stars only because the service wasn't 5 stars, but that seems to be the norm for restaurants these days. Still worth going back!

The atmosphere was nice and we chose to sit on the outdoor patio downstairs to enjoy the weather. The seats are a bit uncomfortable though and the tables could be bigger. We had four people in our party and with appetizers and drinks plus entrees, the table was a bit crowded for my liking. The staff was attentive and polite. The drinks were strong and delicious, however, they didn't have fountain soda and you had to get a can of Sprite with a glass of ice. I thought it was expensive for a 12oz can.... especially with no refills. The food was hot and delicious and authentic. I would have liked a bigger bowl of chips and salsa for the table...one small salad bowl of chips for four people just isn't enough!

Best in the city... all ima say is go. Walk in and sit at any open table. Don't wait to be seated cuz it don't work that way. Food is fresh. Drinks are strong. Price are good. Parking is free. Like why not eat good food. Great for date night.

I've been coming to LaFonda for years (since the late 90s) and two things are consistent: the servers/service (some I've seen for years) and the food. I like the Paella (minus the calamari) and the Chicken Reuben. Their salsa is always fresh and bright (either it's lime or cilantro). The cops are always fresh and crunchy. It is great if you can to grab a table and relax on the upper deck/balcony, but it's difficult to get a table up there if you don't get there early. I find it is slightly cooler than the smaller outside front area (but it is GA). Otherwise, this is a quick go to restaurant on Ponce de Leon. Enjoy.

Fresh, fast, excellent service! Stopped by during the lunch hour and I was out in 35 minutes. The artichoke dip was amazing! I highly recommend the ENSALADA de los ANDES and the chicken and beef tacos. While your at it, get a side of plantains to round out your taste buds.

An Atlanta staple for sure. I’ve been eating at La Fonda for decades. Have moved all over the country and this is still one of my favorite restaurants. They have amazing paella, guacamole, ropa, and tacos. The staff is always quick, courteous, and welcoming. Their patio is wonderful and has a lovely view of the city. As long as they are around I will make a point to stop by when I pass through Atlanta.

Really fresh, made to order Mexican/Cuban/Spanish food. Our group of five shared a tasty pitcher of Sangria followed by a mix of vegetarian and meat mains. They bring fresh tortilla chips and salsa to the table and top them up. I recommend ordering their fresh guacamole as well.

Loved the atmosphere. Especially since it's on Ponce and across the street from my favorite pizza spot in the city. The vibe was cool for a late Thursday evening. Staff was decent. Could have been more vibrant but the food made up for it. The queso was amazing, the steak quesadilla was great. But man my ribeye dinner was BOMB! The steak grilled perfectly and the rice and beans to go with it... Fabulous. We would definitely come back to this place again. Love the fact that you can sit outside and enjoy the Atlanta city life with great food.

Like seeing an old friend! For no obvious reason, I have not been to la Fonda in over 15 years. The food was delicious I had the human sandwich which was wonderful and the black beans didn't disappoint at all. Service was great! Carlos was my server and constantly was looking after refilling my iced tea and replenishing the salsa which was really good. I plan to start coming back very frequently. Also they play great Cuban music which makes the whole experience for authentic.

I swear the food here is so delicious and the portion sizes are huge. I’ve only ordered to go from here a couple of times but my order is always correct and delicious. The seafood taste so fresh and the queso and salsa are both addicting.
