Excellent in a word, had dinner here as it was the only place open on Monday night, it was so good we returned the following night (tonight) again.  Blackened Catfish with cheese grits is outstanding, not something I would normally order, but I had it last night and my wife had it tonight, both times, outstanding. I had the Ruben sandwich tonight and it was very good as well. Good variety of dishes on the menu, nice selection of drinks of all sorts as well.  We sat outside both times and it is really nice, such a nice neighbourhood. definately give it a try, price is very reasonable as well.

Who Knew!. So... we were suppose to go to South City Kitchen but did not realize that they closed at 3:30p on Sunday's. Our friends suggested we go down the street to Vickery's... I was NOT happy.... UNTIL the food came!!! OMG! You walk up to the seemingly teeny tiny building with the overcrowded patio and gaudy decorations and you think "Oh HELL No!" then you walk inside and almost choke on the cigar smoke as you look around the tiny bar area and think " Are You SERIOUS?"!!! You then proceed though the door behind the bar into the quaint Little House On The Prairie-esque dining room with the crackling fireplace sitting in the middle of the room. The Tables aren't but "that (snap fingers) big" but they're comfortable. The server's disposition left a lot to be desired but when the food came...... OMG!!!!!! DEE-LISH-SHUSH!!!!!!!!!!! Every Morsel was silky and seasoned to perfection!!!! After I finished my meal... I wanted to do it again!!!

Love this place!. We've been to Vickery's Glenwood Park several times -- for lunch and dinner -- and it's always delightful on all counts. Great menu, great food -- the burgers are perfect and the ribs are yum and appetizers are really tasty. All of us liked everything we ordered. Inside, it's very cool-looking and really comfortable. The staff is especially nice. Ditto the whole vibe. Guaranteed good mood! Fun neighborhood. Outside, the tables are in a uniquely great spot -- across from a little park and lawn for bocce ball! Will definitely be returning.

Great Find. This place is just right! Great food, friendly service, moderate prices, and wonderful atmosphere. The decor is both funky and slightly upscale at the same time, and it has the feel of a true neighborhood hang-out (even if you aren't from the neighborhood, you feel like you are). The menu is varied enough to find whatever you are in the mood for, and it is ALL good. My personal favorite is the burgundy braised short ribs (YUM!) My sister's favorite though is the caesar salad with grilled chicken, and my husbands is the low country grits with crawfish, shrimp, and crabmeat. I also highly recommend hanging out at the bar- it is friendly and conducive to meeting really nice people. Go there- you won't be disappointed!

GREAT FOOD, GREAT PEOPLE. I've never walked in to this latest incarnation of Vickery's (the original is in midtown and there's two more in Charleston SC) without catching an immediate vibe of great food, energy, and fun people. It has a neighborhood feel about it with an up-scale-but not 'chi-chi'-atmosphere.
The food s great, original, unpretentious with a South Carolina low country kick to it. Try the Low Country Grits with Crawfish Tails, Shrimp, Lump Crabmeat and Andouille Sausage; this stuff will will have you tawkin lak Forrest Gump aftah the secund baht.
And the bar is the kinda place where you can plop down with a Sunday edition of the New York Times and nurse a beer or two for as long as you want. The editorial section is a lot more comprehendable with a plate of fried calamari (try this twice in one month and you'll feel like a 'regular'....Yep, the bar staff is THAT friendly.)
I recommend you take a short drive over to Glenwood and give this place a spin-especially if you need a place to unwind.

This is a little different from my usual posts since I can’t comment on the restaurant environment or service, but I do know that the steak and mushroom salad I had (All natural grilled sirloin over mixed greens with bleu cheese crumbles, sauteed mushroom

Great experience. Got there 35 minutes before closing and still received excellent service from Essence our server. The Low Country Boil over grits and the Fried chicken with greens and Mac and cheese was phenomenal. Great drinks as well. Blueberry martini, apricot old fashioned and Texas margarita.

Been coming here for years. We always get the Calamari when we go here. It's the best I've ever had and my family loves it as well. Nice vibes here and the food is always good.

We are from WI and were hoping to try some southern food for the first time. Omg. Everything was amazing. I never paid $29 for 1 plate b4 but I gotta say I'm not that mad about it after eating it. I ordered the "low country seafood plate" and my husband got a burger and fries along with plantains, Mac n cheese, garlic potatoes. All delicious. Fries got soggy from boxes but still good. We paid $75 for all that. High end but really good. Yesterday I paid $50 for our disgusting meal i threw out at phat phish... avoid that place. U get what u pay for.

Saturday Brunch at Noon was about medium capacity so we were seated right away. Very cool vibe. Server was great. Hugo cocktails sounded good but weren’t very tasty. Turkey Pita was great. Cuban Reuben was a little tough. Will be back to try more things, though!

My little secret in the cut go to spot....I love it here! Update 10/1/23: Food is still great .. Disappointed in the server I had. Came back to collect plates and bring the tab... And to tell me that I couldn't order the BREAD PUDDING that I came there for SMH Ughhhhh...... The main reason I stopped and couldn't tell me why not SMH.

Good bar, food, friendly service and very reasonably priced. I had the southern pecan salad with blue cheese. If you're looking for something light that's a good one to get. My friend had the crab cake eggs Benedict which looked delicious!

It was a nice atmosphere. It was midday on a Saturday and it wasn't too busy. We were seated immediately and our server was attentive. The drinks are average priced and their brunch options are well portioned. I would definitely return to check out their dinner options and their bar. The bar is separate from the dining which is cool.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant and I will definitely be going back. This atmosphere was great and the food was very good. There is the restaurant on one side of the building and a bar on the other side. So they have whatever vibe your in the mood for. Located on the East side of Atlanta in walking distance of other cafes, shops and a cute little park across the street. Had a great time! 👌👌

Omg, the ribs!!! Fall off the bone good. They sell out quick but do take your chances. The drinks were great and my waitress was awesome!

Our server/bartender was really great! He was super attentive without being overbearing. We moved inside because a fly decided to go swimming in my nearly full glass of wine and he replaced it with me asking.

We came for my little brother's birthday I didn't know what to expect or anything about the restaurant. It was a cool and casual bar environment with simple straight forward food! We were a large party, but our server took good care of us. If love to return and sit at the bar. Delicious!

The food is consistently good, although my kettle chips were a little short on the blue cheese dressing. Service was very good, and the atmosphere was adequate. Prices could have been lower.

What a fantastic experience it was to dine here. The service was excellent and very helpful. He put up with a lot of our questions that night and never failed to deliver. Due to his suggestions we had a wonderful meal. The food here is made to a high standard and contains extraordinary flavors. This is definitely a must dine area if you're in the area.

The restaurant looks pretty simple, meaning nothing fancy, but clean. However, the food was amazing! Very flavorful, no skimping on spices. And be careful, because the cocktails are refreshing and pack a punch!
