The Midway has always been one of our favorite spots. They used to have the best sandwich in Atlanta (roast turkey on marble rye with cranberry and brie) but for some reason they stopped offering it (WHY, Midway, WHY?!!?!!11?) and now the Earl has the best (salmon blt.) But still superior bar food, and a good beer list. Lots of nice stouts, which I'm partial to.
Also, always good service and a nice patio.
What a neighborhood pub should be. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, huge bar selection, monthly menu changes, Tiki Bar!!
Best damn bar in Atlanta, great people, no snobs, free parking, amazing food and rotating taps, sports, events, everything here is top notch. 10/10 would do again anytime for any reason.
Outstanding service and draft selection.
Perhaps the best chicken tenders ever.
Great food. Awesome service, will be back. Beer cheese dip was awesome, they also had beer from my home town. I might just become a regular.
A delightful neighborhood bar and eatery! Great beer selection and good food!
A great local pub in East ATL. Never fails to have a great meal especially the chicken and waffles sandwich.
Veggie pita was rad and service was great! Plenty of craft beer and an overall wonderful vibe. Will come back.
Amy is awesome.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had a cobb salad with chicken, and it was really tasty! A big salad served in a stainless steel kitchen bowl, which is just how I like it. Fancy salads on fancy plates fly all over the table when you try to toss them. Not this one. Ate on the patio and it was very nice.
Such an amazing & lively patio with great folks making food & serving beer + I got to meet the sweet folks installing the patio plants! They’re called Earth Conscious Gardening—check em out! Ask the owners of the business & they’ll connect you. Every brewery & pub needs a patio like this that is dog-friendly, clean & inviting with live, organic plants in beautiful ceramic pots sourced from small local businesses. So cool! Definitely coming back to enjoy the vibes Midway Pub is radiating. Might as well!
Pretty good menu: the fried catfish was spot on, great breading but not too much on a lot of fish and the tartar sauce great flavorful and not too heavy. Fries were good and well salted.
My friend had the chicken tenders and was happy with them also good breading, he raved about the BBQ sauce, I concur.
BBQ sauce wasn’t too sweet with a good amount of tang.
Ambiance was chill. Not a lot of people for a late Sunday afternoon.
There is a menu and you order first, pay and then take a seat wherever you want. If you want condiments they’re at the booth tables.
Average draft beer selection like other Atlanta pubs. Just a few TVs not a lot so you can have a conversation.
Not as much parking so it’s recommended to find parking near by and walk. The patio is dog friendly.
Midway. Depending on which day you go, the food will be amazing or just…mid. Never disappoints with the atmosphere. Low pressure bar with great outdoor seating. Understandably a staple for most folks in EAV area.
Friendly East Atlanta pub with an excellent selection of draft craft beers. Lots of TVs and they take pains to label the Sunday games playing on each TV so you can position yourself at the right spot at the bar. Bar fits looked good but I did not eat there on my recent visit. Parking can be tight in East Atlanta village but I found free and legal (I think) parking in a lot across the street behind a vape shop.
Double Midway Burger with tots and a Greek salad were the move for this spot, good basic pop-up kitchen menu. The place brought great vibes with a nice patio area. The manager Maggie was very accommodating!
Neighborhood bar with usual suspects. Love the vibe. Kitchen closed as soon as we sat down. 😄We were able to find parking fairly easy, which prolly would change on a busier night. We went on a Sunday
Sitting on the patio on a nice day is wonderful. The Bloody Marys were fine—came with a good amount of toppings. The chicken and waffles would’ve been more accurately described as chicken and half of a waffle. For $8, I should’ve known it wasn’t going to be a full waffle, but I was still disappointed. It was very tasty though! The breakfast burrito was fine, nothing special. The service was great! Overall, a good experience.
We ordered the: veggie corn dogs (the mustard was so good), smash burger, midway pub burger with fries, patty melt, hot and honey wings, green chicken chili, and Lady’s Choice drink. Also a shot of tequila! The food was very delicious, hot , and fresh. The outside seating was a great bonus. The staff was friendly and moving orders quickly. The menu was limited and the burgers didn’t come with fries, so that was a downer. But overall we had a great time and would love to come back!
Great place for sports watching with the gang. Good selection of beer drafts. Food is okay. Chicken tenders are best in area.
