Hickory & Hazel Southern Table - Atlanta - Photo album

Loud atmosphere. Smallish menu. High prices. Pretty tasty food. For not much options for the area, not a bad choice.
I had a great meal here after a long and late flight. A lot of the restaurants in the airport were closed or crowded so I decided to eat near my hotel. Since it’s a hotel restaurant at an airport of course it’s a little pricey, but I didn’t leave feeling like I got scammed. My shrimp and grits were
Loved the saxophone player. The blackened shrimp tacos were amazing and the coffee strong enough to help me drive 2 hours back home.
The server was very personable. The food came out fast, hot, and delicious. Val, also made sure the valet got our ticket. It was a very enjoyable layover with my sister.
Made a visit to this restaurant since majority of everything was closed. The food was a little pricey but you do get a decent portion. Their food was great food! My Salmon was cooked to perfection & seasoned perfectly!! Everything was good & my waiter (Unfortunately forgot his name) was excellent!!
We ate here the night before flying out of ATL and the service and food were both impressive. Shrimp and grits and Georgia rainbow trout were both very good, and our server Mervin did a great job. Prices were in line for Atlanta, but not outrageous.
My comments about my fantastic dinner experience were included with my Renaissance review...
If you are too tired to find a place to eat after a long day of work, this restaurant in the Gateway hotel area is a good option. The food is limited but varied enough to find something to suit your taste. Just be aware that Champions nearby has a similar menu so you won't find a lot of difference b
Love. Love. Love. The food was amazing and the ambiance was perfect. You can have a business meeting, have a drink at the bar, work remotely, and/or have a nice formal dinner. Be prepared to spend around $25+ for your entree. If you like iced tea, they have some of the best iced tea I’ve ever had. I
I was absolutely surprised by how good the food was in this hotel. I don't eat everyone's collard greens, however, it was very good and well seasoned! The baked potato was well cooked along with the salmon and Brussel Sprots... very delicious.
Exceeded expectations for a simple Bar meal. Service was great as was my food. Grilled trout was cooked perfectly and the baked potato was excellent. Love when something simple is done well.
Staff is always friendly. Order the turkey and cheese omelette with rye toast and potatoes. OMG so delicious and fresh. The coffee is a dark roast. Love. Love. We will be coming back.
I spent the weekend here for my bonus son's wedding. The wedding was absolutely beautiful! I loved the hotel. It felt clean when I walked in . Beautiful lobby with a good size bar. Elevators to every room! ( That helped me tremendously). The rooms were very clean with a huge bathroom! Comfy beds and
I had the green chicken chile, it was excellent. My wife had the Caesar salad and a baked potato, both good. Chocolate cake for dessert was good as well. Attentive service. Prices are high. Glass of wine is $20, could buy a decent bottle for that price.
Our waitress Shandi was over the top. She was fun and engaging. My entire family had a wonderful evening.
Great breakfast! Country fried steak with white sauce tasted great with crisp batter. The sweet peach tea was also very good. Portion sizes were large - we were definitely full afterwards.
Staff was so friendly and helpful. Good people! Server gave me a sample of grits because I'd never tasted them before.
