I've been a few times and absolutely love this place. Very fresh, comforting and varied menu. You can eat light or go hog wild and work on your dad body. The crowd is also very friendly. Lots of good conversations while waiting in a quickly moving line.
Have been going to Breadwinners since they just a little bakery, well run, incredible people, and fantastic food! Always recommend!

We have been coming for 3 years! From dining in, to get a couple of chicken breasts and pasta to go for a quick family dinner, we are never dissatisfied! Always the same, and always amazing!

Tucked in a plaza on Sandy Springs circle you will find Breadwinner Cafe. I'd say if you don't look carefully you'd miss it but judging from the crowd for 2 hours, no one is missing where this is located. Clearly repeat business. It's in the same plaza as Brooklyn Cafe. The crowd doesn't appear to be a signifcant amount of office workers tucking in for a quick lunch. It seems to be neighborhood regulars that don't do the 9-5 thing. My people!
Fantastic!. This place is great. It's the best, quick lunch in the immediate area by far. Food is fresh. Compotent service - always with a smile. Generous portions, affordable. The ten dollar lunch (half sandwhich, salad, and soup - or two salads) is a great deal of the quality and amount of food.
Oh - and their chocolate chip cookies are to die for!

ABSOLUTELY BEST LUNCH IN TOWN. This place has it all!!! Great food, cozy decor, and a super friendly staff. The $10 lunch can't be beat, and its healthy.
The community table means you can come in any time and find someone to eat with. The spoondalier is something to see. The staff is patient while you make your choices.

This is just what Sandy Speings needed! Fresh food, good company, comfortable atmosphere. Love the slaw, and the tomato bisque. I've eaten here several times since they opened, and have found that there's plenty of variety depending on what I'm in the mood for. I'm sure I'll be back for more soon!
Best Lunch Spot in Sandy Springs. Great soups, salads, sandwiches and breads can be found at this charming and eclectic restaurant. It is truly a neighborhood gem. Pop in for a great lunch, pick up a few things for home and run in to old friends... what could be better!
I have to give 4 stars on behalf of behalf of the quality, variety and taste.We had the California wraps, watermelon salad and beet salad. The food was great. The person preparing the order was nice but the cashier didn't match the good energy. Overall it's a nice place to dine and upon leaving the parking lot there was a fresh produce stand with good products and nice people. I enjoyed the experience.
Breadwinner cafe is the perfect lunch spot 😊 all of their food is delicious and you really get a homemade meal for a great price. I love their tomato bisque soup but they have all kinds of salads, sandwiches, and sides! All their food tastes fresh as well. I also love that they have extra goodies for the sweets lovers and packaged sides you can buy to enjoy at home!
This was my first experience at Breadwinner and it was amazing. The food was fresh, warm, and tasted delicious. It's one of the best lunches I've had in Dunwoody (especially within the Village) in a while. The inside was clean and well taken care of which is a big deal for me.
They were well stocked with to go items as well if you were looking for a quick lunch or a take home meal!
I ordered the Basil Tomato Soup, Pesto Chicken Panini, and Pesto Pasta Salad all which were very well done. I have no complaints whatsoever!
I would recommend Breadwinner to anyone looking for a great lunch spot in Dunwoody!
Always a good spot for lunch. Give the Tuna melt sandwich with the Turkey Chili Soup. I also enjoy their delicious peach 🍑 bread. What a treat

We visited Breadwinner Cafe and Bakery on a Saturday around 1pm. It was our first time visiting this place; to our surprise - there was a long(-ish) line (~10 parties) to place orders and nearly all indoor and outdoor seats were occupied.
This place has most of their sandwiches pre-made and salads pre-mixed and have them on display. It’s like going to Chipotle, where you order different things at different station in the line (Sandwich and soup first, then salads/sides).
Pros:
- Even though there was a wait line, it moved quickly.
- Unlike other places, staff are smart/swift/friendly!
- You see what you will get (for most items) as they are all on display.
- They will ask if you would like your sandwich toasted.
- Reasonable price (considering the portion of food they offer).
- Lots of different salad options.
Cons:
- Where the menus are is hard for someone new to this restaurant to see. - They could have been put at a more visible location (and face the entrance).
- Some combo items are a little unclear to understand the price and how many sides I can choose. e.g. brisket sandwich, as it’s a full sandwich and not half, if I do a Trio, can I still get two sides with it for the total of $12.99?
Overall, I give this place 5*. Great food and service. Will definitely revisit!
Chanced this place after some cancelled lunch plans. Even when packed, easy to pick out items from the deli counter, grab a drink, and grab a seat. Quality is great. Price reasonable. Will be back to check the other options.
I ordered a tuna sandwich and turkey chili today with Grubhub. Much to my surprise, the chili tastes almost EXACTLY like my grandma's prize-winning recipe that I've been thinking about making for two weeks (even more impressive because we use beef)! Even the tuna salad is close to how we make it, which is pretty different from most delis. YUM. I will definitely order from here again!
Tasty and healthy options at great price.. The layout it great and has a lot of seating options inside and out although it can get very busy.. The soup, bread and salads are really nice and so many choices to make.. We will definitely need to come back..

Friendly staff. Gar (our waiter) was a great fresh start for our last Morning in Dallas. The food was good and in great portions.
Another place that I’ve passed by many times and finally got around to trying and I’m glad I did.
I had the pimento cheese sandwich, tomato bisque soup and kale salad. I also tried a slice of orange and banana bread slices. All tasted very good and are good options for vegetarians. There are also several vegetarian side options.
I wish there were at least a couple of vegan sandwich options so that I could bring my vegan friends with me, and I’d be happy to try them myself too. Same for the soup options. I appreciate that vegan and vegetarian options are marked on the menu but the only vegan option I saw was a slaw side.
Looking forward to coming back here again and trying more of the baked goods.

Gentlemen - this is a real winner! Looking for an idea to surprise my wife on her 75th birthday, I needed serious ideas that did not put me and her to work cleaning up after a strictly family event at our home for all 26 family members on a Sunday afternoon. Thankfully, my beautiful daughter suggested Breadwinners, so I checked it out as well as others in the East Cobb area. Let me tell you, do yourself a favor go with Breadwinners. Matt and Dori were a dream come true in my planning process.
They graciously allowed me a "tasting" of some of their delicious salad and sandwich ingredients. They made it so easy - planning, quantities, and kept me posted throughout the process, making sure I was well covered. Everything was delivered by Geoff, the owner, on a beautiful Sunday afternoon - and I mean EVERYTHING - delicious sandwiches and salads - serving trays and utensils, sturdy plates and cutlery, cups & ice, and delicious lemonade. When we finished the party, there was not a pot to wash. What a dream! The sandwiches were made with all the ingredients fresh as could be including the mozzarella/tomato caprese sandwiches and the beautiful salads ladies love. And, I was so glad we didn't miss out on their chocolate chip cookies and brownies. What a delight for the 14 grandchildren as well as the parents. Thank God, the surprise worked and NO clean up! Gentlemen, throw your wife a party with Breadwinners and look like you've done this before. The team at Breadwinners is an easy win for the best in catering.
A colleague suggested this cafe for a quick lunch on the go. I had 1/2 of a Pimento Cheese Sandwich, 1/2 of a roast beef sandwich (had them both warmed up) and a Greek Quinoa salad. Every bite of the sandwiches turned panini was scrumptious. I selected the Greek quinoa salad because it was a “healthier” choice than my normal sides. I loved the quinoa salad. I am looking forward to going back with my wife in the near future.
Food was pretty good, great value for the price. The staff was really nice, too.
Amazing lunch choice if you are in the area. We will definitely be back!
Delicious menu options! I placed my lunch order ahead of time and am super glad I did. It’s a super busy spot (great sign) for lunch. I would absolutely get one of the combos again.
