I recently had the pleasure of dining at Double Zero Pizza, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience! The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience from start to finish. Now, let's talk about the food. The pizzas at Double Zero are truly delicious. The crust was perfectly cooked, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. I especially enjoyed their Garlic Knots, which were a delightful blend of softness and garlic goodness. One thing that impressed me was their great specials. From the $10 pizza deal on Mondays to the $12 calzones on Tuesdays and the tempting $9 beverage specials on Wednesdays, there are plenty of options to satisfy any craving. I also appreciate their pasta dishes, which are equally delightful. The Thursday pasta specials offer a variety of flavors and are definitely worth trying. Overall, my experience at Double Zero Pizza was excellent. The combination of tasty food, friendly service, and a cozy ambiance made it a memorable dining outing. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious pizza and a great dining experience in Atlanta

We always have a great experience here. We keep trying other fancy Italian places and find ourselves always thinking that Double Zero is better. Pasta is fantastic and pizza is delicious. The garlic knots are amazing and the dessert has always been good. Can’t wait to go back!

Wonderful experience at Double Zero. The first thing I noticed was the ambiance. The soft lighting set the mood and the layout allowed for plenty of room. The appetizers and entrees were delicious, and the cocktails very refreshing! You have to order the garlic knots, they are amazing!! Our server was very attentive plus the restaurant manager and owners checked on us throughout the night. A++

I came here for the first time a few weeks ago on a weeknight. The service was great and the food was really good! Especially the drinks & pasta. There was also a nice atmosphere to have a casual dinner. It was just a bit pricey.

Had a really nice casual weekday dinner with a friend at a high top table in the bar. Nice wine selection. We ordered a delicious cauliflower appetizer, a flavorful shrimp pasta dish and a fantastic arugula salad. The tiramisu was a fantastic end to the meal. The service was excellent.

REAL Italian style pizza!!! This place is an absolute joy, from the area, interior, staff, service, and most importantly the incredible food. Their massive pizza ovens reach temperatures over 700F, to achieve a perfect lightly crispy crust with the right amount of toothsome chew. Their pasta dishes are also incredible The crem brulee was my favorite dessert

Grabbed a quick dinner here. Nice little Italian spit with indoor and outdoor seating, just a few blacks from Emory. Had a Caeser Salad and an OG LV pizza. Caeser was notable for having the most anchovy heavy dressing I've ever had. Really good! Pizza was really good, and also was the first time I've ever been served pizza with a pair of scissors for cutting slices.

Double Zero hit the spot. Great Italian food, so many delicious options. We had the garlic knot, pork belly puffs, braised beef ravioli and margherita pizza (served traditional style with scissors to cut it). If you’re vegetarian, this place has so many options for you.

We had exceptional service with Afshin! We celebrated our marriage and were surprised with a champagne toast and their world class tiramisu! We were also gifted a certificate for a free small plate next time we visit. The staff were all warm, welcoming, and attentive. The food was phenomenal and perfect for sharing. We absolutely cannot wait to return for another fantastic evening.

May 2023 - We love Double Zero and all the CHG restaurants. The DZ team is always very friendly, accommodating when needed, and delivers amazing dishes. We really enjoy the seasonal changes as well. DZ is a favorite so much for us that we booked our rehearsal dinner here for later this year. Dec 2023 Update - We still love DZ and probably love it even more. If we could give them more than 5 stars, we would!!! In September 2023 my wife and I had our wedding rehearsal dinner here for 55 people. We really can't say enough amazing things about Dustin, Daniel, and the rest of the DZ & CHG team and how amazing people they all are. Our struggle in finding a place was that everywhere we looked in the city was either to small to host 55 people or required us to reserve the entire restaurant and pay big bucks to do so. DZ was great because it we could book half the space with just a F&B minimum, plus it was a great location and not your typical chain. It was a true Atlanta gem & experience for our guests during their travels. We went the route of a buffet style dinner which was great to create a casual and socializing friendly vibe, and the DZ team was extremely accommodating for those with special dietary needs. We were also able to work out a cash bar with our guests that felt very well executed and not a hassle on anyone. DZ should def be at the top of your list for any date nights, traveling friends in need of a great meal, special event meal, holiday/office parties, and everything else! You won't be disappointed.

So I decided to try Double Zero for a couple of reasons. One is because I noticed that it was owned by someone who runs one of my other favourite local spots and tying into that in a way with two is because I felt bad reading some recent bad reviews as it’s not matched my experience with this purveyor. Well there was only one way to find out and as I expected (and hoped) everything was delicious. I ordered the meatball appetiser and the shrimp bucatini entree. Meatballs (you get three) were flavourful and delicious and the polenta was creamy and of perfect consistency. The shrimp bucatini was just as good with both the shrimp and pasta being cooked perfectly, neither too underdone or too mushy. There are some capers in the dish that add a nice tang and I don’t know what else was in the pasta sauce but it was SO GOOD and the highlight of the order overall. If you’re a newcomer and thinking about checking this place out I would encourage you to do so. Prices are good and you always get Hugh quality food made with high quality ingredients. I should add that I don’t know nor have I even met the owner as I’ve been staying home during the pandemic. This is just my honest opinion without bias. And my opinion is that it’s always been evident that the teams behind these restaurants genuinely care about the food they put out and strive to make it some of the best.
