First time visit to Mangos Restaurant during lunch with daughter and ordered the Stewed Chicken, seasoned cabbage and macaroni and cheese. The food was good and our waitress Alima was a great server. Would love to return when I am in the area again.

Definitely going again the next time I'm in Atlanta. This will be my go too restaurant from now on. Bartenders n servers were friendly. Great music. Great island like atmosphere. Most of all FOOD WAS PHENOMENAL .. it was so good, I had to place a togo order for my travel back to Florida. I can't leave out the fact of how reasonable the cost of the food was. Only thing I can say is we waited a little longer than anticipated...but that's understood because it was crowded. I woyld, rate this place 8 stars.. that's how goid it was!

Ran into this place on my way to Grady Hospital to find out I when a torn meniscus, ACL, Baker's Cyst and severe arthritis but I digress... It was late, 130am and I was starving and knew it was going to be a long wait at Grady so I decided to nourish myself with an order of brown stew chicken, max and cheese, kabbage and, or course, rice & peas and washed it down with a Ginger Beer. I was pleasantly surprised. As klose to authentic Jamaican that I've had in Atlanta. Being I lived in Miami for 12 years and traveled extensively to the "big island" I'm certified to pass judgement in this kase!! 😁 The kabbage was flavorful and slightly overkooked, the Mac and cheese was on point, the brown stew kame with extra gravy without request and the rice and peas were a particular type of tender. The only reason not higher is the atmosphere and the cashier... It's worth the trip! 👌🏾🖤💯

Food is always rich in flavors. The rum punch is UNTOUCHED. the oxtails the curry the MAC N CHEESE. LORD HAVE MERCY ON OUR SOULS. So it’s like a little hole In the wall but that’s expected because if you go to Jamaica What you think they cooking in lol. The food is fantastic I don’t know the grade but I’ll check it the next time I go. I’ve been eating here for about 10 years now and the food is great! Just got curry chicken and rice and peas and Mac n cheese tonight at 9 pm. They close in an hour and it’s so good it’s giving LIFE!!! A must try. It’s almost deserted in the area it’s in because the places around it could not survive the pandemic and before it. But you know the food is good if they are still standing. POW 💥 I will post photos of already eaten food sorry this plate is a messssss but it’s curry chicken and it’s moist and delicious and the Mac n cheese fresh to the gods.

I got caught in traffic and bailed off the I75 in this area. I had to drive around back of a piece of a shopping center to find this hidden treasure. I was just waiting for traffic to ease up but I ordered the saltfish fritters, bread pudding, and sweet iced tea. I sat outside because it was so gorgeous on this day. The service was prompt and professionally executed. The young man was more than helpful and I enjoyed my stop by Mangos_ I ate my own bread pudding and ordered (2) huge pieces to go! Yummy to my tummy! Great job guys 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The ox tails were incredible 😲. I'm only disappointed because I didn't get the larger size. Service was kind and attentive. She only failed to let us know that Gratituty was included. If I knew that, I wouldn't have a tip. The atmosphere just needed more light. The bathrooms could be cleaner, and the door to the ladies' room needs to be replaced. I'm happy that we found this place.

We ended up here by accident. We were vacationing here (fourth of July week ) and wanted to try the peach cobbler factory across the street. It wasn't open so we decided to get food here. Now let me start off by saying I couldn't inside because it was so dirty (we came right as they opened for lunch). I just cannot sit and eat on tables full of food debris. So we just ate in the car. There is no way they didn't know every table was nasty that early. But anyways the food was really good. I had the goat curry and my spouse had the oxtail meal. We added a side of Mac and cheese and boy was the portion worth the price. Everything was hot and fresh. We actually had to wait a bit because it was too hot for consumption. The plantains and Mac and cheese were probably the best I've had. The cabbage was cooked perfectly. Not too soft but still not crunchy and wasn't overly seasoned. The goat curry I'll give it an 8/10. He let me try his plate and I loved the oxtail also. The staff was also very friendly. I just hated that they didn't have any of the bread pudding that was on the menu because that is one of my favorite desserts.

Mangos…. How I wish I could give you a five star. This restaurant is downtown about a .6 mile walk from all the tourist spots (Aquarium, Coke, etc). The Caribbean food we had tonight was delicious, and the server who worked the front counter was excellent. The inside sadly is not up to the standards of the food and will be a turn off to many. The curry chicken plate with rice, plantains, and cabbage with carrots was delicious. The Mac and cheese side was generous and pretty good. The fried tilapia sandwich was really tasty. The beef and veggie patties were okay but they tasted like they had been in the case all day (we ate at dinner time).

Ordered my food on postmates after seeing the restaurant multiple times. It’s open late which is great. I’m originally from Miami and the Caribbean food there is amazing so usually when I try Caribbean food in other cities it doesn’t live up to the true taste that I recognize to be Caribbean food. But this place was great. Jerk chicken not only had spice but flavor as well and the chicken was moist. The rice and peas were soft and the cabbage was great not too salty and not bland either, just right. The Mac and cheese looked a little hard to me at first glance but after eating a bite or two it was good it wasn’t dry and it has a good flavor. Overall, 10/10, great place to go. Will be my new favorite spot.

We had the brown stew chicken and curry goat lunch specials. Both were delicious. The rice and cabbage were great as well. Very chill and relaxed atmosphere.
