My children & I love trying new things, so we decided on this place. It was phenomenal. Although it was our first “hot pot” experience, the staff at J’s was very helpful. They helped us along the way, answered all of our crazy questions and made sure we had everything we needed. To say it was awesome is an understatement. We will definitely be back again!!

Our service and food were both great I'd def go back and bring some friends. The people who said it was pricey well you pay for the experience, the good food and the tons of vegetables that are farm fresh that they bring out. If you found it too pricey then go to Taco Bell.

This place has spoiled me on Hot Pot. I love the variety of meat, broth, veggie, and noodle options, the individual pots, plus the vast amount of items on the sauce & topping bar. It is one of my favorite places to go in Atlanta. Do note that they do not sell alcohol, but you can bring your own wine or beer!

We were visiting Atlanta for the day and found a Groupon for this restaurant. We were a little iffy about cooking our own food, but the server explained everything and was helpful through the whole process. If I'm ever in Atlanta again, I'll definitely eat there again.

Loved it! Staff is super friendly. Love the individual hot pots. Great selection and easy to follow menu. I had the herb infused broth. Very nice. It was really fun. Try the dumplings. The seafood came out with a sparkler. Great time. BYOB.

The staff was amazing! I felt bad because online it says they close at 11 so we got there like 1020 ish and they let us know the meats typically get wrapped up around 1025 ish so we ordered and I was like man I hate to keep these guys past close and stuff cause we got there within an hour of closing but they were so gracious and kind, and helpful and let us know it was no biggie. They gave us recommendations, and my husband who had never had hotpot enjoyed it. They gave us a lot of veggies for the price and i honestly didnt eat all of it. I loved loved loved the lamb, it was great! The restaurant was clean, well lit and neat. I was also thrilled to learn you can BYOB, so next time we will really make it a party. Overall they have some happy satisfied customers from us and we will make this a date night must have.

contains a handful of restaurants worth trying, including Pho Bac and Harmony Vegetarian Chinese. There's a lot of. available parking,. but these restaurants (and the market) do get quite busy - J's is located right across from Pho Bac and there's usually plenty of parking on that side, even at prime times.

I really enjoyed my meal at Mini Hit Pot. It was fun, delicious, and best of all healthy. This place is definitely not for those people who hate fussy food. You have to "cook" the food yourself in a vat of boiling broth at your table. If you enjoy fondue but hate the high fat this place is for you. Best of all it is great for vegans and vegetarians with vegetarian broth options and loads of tofu and veggies. Don't forget bubble tea or a fresh fruit smoothie for dessert. The service is great too!

Oh how I yearned to try thee hotpot.. After many trips to Pho Bac within the shopping plaza that Mini Hot Pot resides, I forcefully convinced a coworker to join me for lunch at Mini Hot Pot.

I had stuck my head in one day to check it out and grab a menu a few weeks ago, so I could see what the story was (I scanned and uploaded to this page once I got back to office). I thought the prices were a little high, but, figured what the heck.

Now, understand I have absolutely no clue what to do with myself while eating this type of meal.

So, upon arrival, I ordered the meat combo with beef and lamb, and my friend ordered the combo with chicken and pork. I also had mine spicy.

The soup came out quick, they put on the little heatpad to get it boiling, and then brought out my beef. The young girl asked if we had ever been to hot pot before, we told her no. She explained what to do, though I couldnt really hear her.

So, I basically just went at it. I cracked my egg and threw it in, instantly realizing itd probably be better to hardboil than whatever kind of 'poach' I was attempting :)

I added a little this, a little that. I'd love to tell you what it was, but I have no clue!

Anywho, it turned out pretty well. The waitress made us our dipping sauce and it was DELICIOUS. I doubt I was supposed to, but I used a piece of lettuce to make a quasi-Cantonwrap with some noodles and meat, lil veggie and some sauce.

All in all, I would say to check this place out. The soup was a little bland for being spicy, and my friend and I had no clue what was the correct protocol for where we were. But we had fun. The food was fine, I couldnt tell a diff between taste of lamb, chicken, or beef. Probably because somewhere in my mind was a disconnect of "HEY! THIS SOUP IS BOILING IN FRONT OF YOUR FACE! JUST BECAUSE IT STOPS FIVE SECONDS AFTER YOU LADEL IT INTO A SMALLER NONHEATED BOWL DOESNT MEAN ITS NOT SCOLDING!" ... So, yes. My mouth is burnt.

I definitely see myself returning, next time with more research on what to do, and more discipline to not burn my mouth. Is fun to go to, the food FILLS you up so much. And the staff is nice -- told me the black milk tea is a good choice for cold bubble tea, and she was correct - VERY GOOD.

Ok so I took the Chinese new year further by lunching at Mini Hot Pot. My mom is a huge fan of Chinese hot pot. I like it from time to time but I'd rather not cook when I eat out. Since no one else in my family likes hot pot, my mom usually has to drag me

I came here about 10 years ago and enjoyed the experience. Came back for the second time tonight and it did not disappoint. I especially like that you get your own individual pot and so can choose your soup base. The Angus beef was very good. And they have a wide selection on the menu. More expensive than your all you can eat hot pot place is, but better quality food here. Not gourmet but really good.

One of our favorite place for hotpot. It’s not AYCE but plenty for each person. Get the condiments from the sauce bar & mix it in with the broth to enhance the flavors. 2 thumbs up.

What a beautiful array of vegetables to feed into the broth - it holds the beauty of a flower arrangement and the ode to impermanence is not without ceremony as you craft a rolling buffet of delight.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at J's Mini HotPot Deluxe, and I can confidently say it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From start to finish, this restaurant exceeded my expectations in every way. J's Mini HotPot Deluxe deserves every bit of its five-star rating. If you're a fan of hotpot or looking to try it for the first time, do yourself a favor and visit this gem of a restaurant. You won't be disappointed.

I highly recommend this place. I love that they give you a big bowl or a mixture of things. I’ve been to other hot pot places where every single thing is a la carte. I thought it was delicious and presentation is gorgeous!! I thought the price was fair. I would not get the kiwi smoothie bubble tea again. I don’t know what I was thinking but it was neon green and very fake tasting. I selected that so I will still rate this place five stars. A lot of parking spaces!

First time experience with hot pot dining! 5 stars here! The food was delivered FAST, FRESH and aesthetically appealing in presentation. I defintely loved how you are able to customize your own sauce and taste preferences. The house sauce had everything I loved. You get plenty of food, great service and an even greater dining experience for the price you pay. I will return, with family and friends.

We ordered the Surf and Turf and the Angus Beef hotpots. It was a bit overwhelming as first-timers, but our waiter was great in helping us navigate it. The sauce bar is what makes the whole experience. The house sauce is fantastic. Go with someone who knows what they’re doing, and don’t be afraid to ask for help.

While the hotpot isn't "all you can eat" you will find it really isn't necessary as each item on the menu is stocked high with miscellaneous sides to complement your main course. It offers A WONDERFUL eating experience with an extensive sauce bar, wide broth selections, and a long list of sides to mix and match. Prices can be high depending on your appetite and meat preferences, but you will certainly feel like you are treating yourself.

This eatery is mosdef an experience. The guests actually get to simmer or cook their order to their liking. Your food is brought to you in either a basket or dish and your table is a glass top stove where you finish preparing your meal. Their is a toppings and sauce bar as well for those looking to add some add'l flavor. I must point out that I order a honey date tea pot as well, which I'd never drank b4 and it was divine. This is certainly a place to explore if you're a foodie.
