Hand in hand is such a awesome place with a great atmosphere!! Ask for Savannah if you go, she was our server and she is AMAZING!

This is a great local meeting place with tons of space, a huge patio. Just overall a great place to have a few brews and hang out. Really cool vibe, in a neat area. Must check it out.
I'm writing this review just on their fish and chips alone. I love fish and chips and always order them in any restaurant that offers it. Hand in Hand has the second best fish and chips I've ever had. They have the best fish and chips I've had in the south.
The salad that comes with it compliments the fish nicely. The fish is crispy and flaky. I would come back here just for it!
Their beer selection is great. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they have a very extensive list.
I'm sure it can get busy in here but every time I've gone, it hasn't been busy. There is plenty of seating inside and outside. Indoors, the entire environment has black wood everywhere with dim lighting. The outdoor patio is a dive bar.
They have their own parking lot but it can get full and off street parking is available.
The service was great every time that I've been there. They were knowledgable in beverages and food. If they didn't know something, they always asked someone else to get the correct answer.
It's all about the patio here! I'm sure food is great, but this patio is perfect for afternoon drinks, late night groups, and early morning brunch. I have had multiple good times at Hand-in-Hand and don't even live in Virginia Highlands. It'd be nice to have this kind of patio in Buckhead. Highly recommend this pub for all the occasions you can think of. I recall parking not being an issue here.
Awesome specials everyday of the week. $1 fish tacos and $2 pork tacos AND $2 New Belgium Fat Tire every Sunday. Yeah, this is my new Sunday spot. Their hotdogs (Friday special) are very good as well.
Polite and professional staff. Haven't been here enough to give it a 5 star rating yet but I will definitely be returning.
There's no smoking inside but with ample patio seating, having a smoke after a great meal is almost always an option.
Atmosphere was very welcoming. Beer selection on draft was 20+ with decent local selections and some well known classics. I went here by myself (Saturday night) and still had a good time meeting people on the big patio area. Mix of college students and young professionals. The older crowd seems to stay away as it can get pretty packed and noisy after 11pm.
I recommend coming here mid day on the weekend to enjoy some cocktails and maybe a few apps. They have fusion drinks that are good and standard bar apps. They have a decent sized patio and a good amount of space inside. Usually there's no problem finding a seat and getting served pretty quickly!
Visited on a Sunday. Had the 3 taco $5 deal, $5 deviled eggs and Italian donut holes. All were delish and enjoyable, especially considering the price. They have other specials for Sunday Funday, including bar deals with beer and cocktails (also heard about deals on early weekdays). Service was good; prompt and welcoming. The server, Savannah, was a delight.
Surprisingly good food and excellent beer selection in classic dark Irish bar setting. There's always a place to sit and the service is excellent. Also a really nice outdoor patio area although it's exposed 2 Virginia Ave so a fair bit of traffic. I prefer sitting inside in the dark and cool interior and sipping a beer with one of their daily specials. Speaking of$2 Burgers on Tuesday and Thursday is the best deal in all of Atlanta. They serve you a real Burger with onion straws and all the toppings. Hand in hand it's one of my favorite spots in the ATL.
I'm a fan. We came in for the first time on Tuesday and they happened to be doing a $2 burger special (A la carte), which was an unbelievable deal. The burger was quite tasty, especially with added blue cheese and bacon . They only serve them medium, and a perfect medium it was. I had it with an order of deviled eggs and they were also delicious.
My wife had the chicken nuggets and an order of fries, and she was more than satisfied with both. I tried a fry and it was awesome.
We'll be back!
Pleasant atmosphere, great staff, good menu choices, delicious food and drinks, great service. Well kept secret, or I'd assume u it would have been packed when we went, but we got a seat right away. And there were loads of empty tables when we left. Don't miss a chance for upscale food in a very comfortable setting.
Hand in Hand hosted the rehearsal dinner for my wedding in December 2017, and we could not have been more pleased with our experience! Everything was so easy from start to finish! We met with Jake a couple of months prior to discuss pricing and set up, deciding to do platters of their wonderful appetizers with a running tab at the bar. The night of the dinner, everything went amazingly well, they kept the food coming and there was such a great atmosphere! Everyone enjoyed themselves immensely, and it will forever be one of our best family and friends get-togethers. Thanks so much to the Hand in Hand management and staff for an awesome evening! We will see you again soon!
This is a great spot to go to if you are hanging out and grabbing a drink or starting a bar hopping outing. It has pub food, and a cozy atmosphere. There is a nice outdoor patio for warmer months. They have a delicious brie and some very tasty jalapeño poppers!
If you're looking for a fun and casual night out with friends then this is it. Great drinks and a relaxing time without all the fuss. Parking in the front is actually a premium, seeing as though many bars nearby don't provide parking options. Great for a night out and bar hopping.
