It's been ten years or more since I first visited the Atlanta Greyhound station, compared to the old building the new building fantastic; more space, newer accessories plus an excellent staff who seem to really value their jobs. Thanks!
You can always expect to find shady characters at a bus depot, but this place wasn't all bad.
Make sure you don't sit at the food tables if you're not eating or you will get yelled at.
And yes there are bums and crackheads that will approach you outside. A couple of them tried to "help" me with my bag but I declined. The bus ride was actually pretty nice. Left right on time and everyone on board was decent.
Actually got to my destination early and for only $65. Thanks Greyhound for rescuing me from grounded flights at the airport! Much better than being stuck in an airport for days.
These stars are for Xavier Herndon who is an excellent Attendant at the Greyhound station in Atlanta HE is a great asset to his business,My daughter was traveling to Oklahoma and the bus broke down before they got to Atlanta iit was broken down for 4 hours the bus depot didn't want to change her tickets and denied being broke down that long Xavier saved the day with two cell phones and his expertise and know how he saved the day. Thank you Xavier Greyhound should reward you and give you a raise. Thank you
