The wait staff are friendly and plesant to interact with.
The food was light and enjoyable after a long walk around the museum. I had potato soup and a small ceasar salad. I've been thinking about the soup since I've had it, so I would consider it must try on a cold day!
The restaurant has great lighting and a slightly quiet atmosphere. It's great for dining alone, a lunch date, or for small groups.
Delightful dining experience. Enjoyed our appetizers, very nice service and excellent atmosphere to grab a bite before or after the High museum. So convenient!
Had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The staff was very kind and accommodating. I wish I knew the name of the bartender because he went above and beyond to make sure we had our drinks to our liking. The servers and hostesses were likeable. The food was very good. I recommend the grouper if you like fish. Overall, I enjoyed my dining experience. I will come back to this place again.
This is by far the best place I have eaten in ATL. The food was absolutely amazing! The quality and freshness of the food, especially for the price, was unbelievable. We tried a lot of things on the menu. We had the soup of the day, the apricot bread, crepes, fried green tomatoes, and an espresso. We spent an hour here just enjoying the food, atmosphere, and each other. The staff was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. We will be back.
Great food and super convenient if you're going to the symphony! Only thing that detracts from the experience was the somewhat chaotic service, we sat without a waiter for quite a while
I stopped here before the museum for a quick lunch. The staff was extremely nice. I had the salmon salad. It was delish! Members of the High Museum receive a 10% discount here.

Great service, very creative and imaginative dishes, the best fried green tomatoes I have ever tasted! Service was great from folks who clearly enjoyed what they were doing! Topped off a great evening of art and jazz. Highly recommended.
Waiter Jonah was excellent. Food excellent. Not a fan of the small 2 person tables so close to each other but I know that's common in ATL. A bit louder background music would make the ambiance better throughout, especially when we are limiting patrons due to covid/staffing. Would make it feel more "alive" and full. This review was for dinner service before a show.
I loved the "High" chicken stack! It was fantastic! My husband loved the lobster and shrimp soup. We also ordered a side of their delicious vegetables, and the crème brulee and chocolate/chocolate/chocolate desserts were delicious. The service was excellent. The prices are very fair for the wonderful food and fun atmosphere. We've eaten there every time we went to the High Museum for the last seven years. I'd eat there every day if we lived nearby. Really, the food was the best!
The twelve-eighty cafe was very nice, the decor was so beautiful,a great place to start the evening before a great show, restrooms were clean, staff was friendly but not up to par except the waitress, our waitress was friendly, energetic and so nice and always smiling the only thing was that I made reservations online and they asked if there were any special requests and they did not honor that when I arrived and it was a simple request to have my drinks delivered when we got there I called ahead of time also to make sure that they got the online request and hey confirmed it and still no drinks when we got there even after we sat for 10minutes no drinks we had to order them anyway and when the drinks got there my husband's drink had some food particles in it my waitress exchanged it but really it was gross and i asked about our reservation request And they still had no explanation so why ask online if there's any specific requests.???why even make online "special"request?? That's why I would have gave only 3 stars . I was very disappointed luckily my waitress was friendly and sweet.so I couldn't be to mad and the place is lovely and I would recommend it BUT I highly recommend new kitchen staff and a front desk staff that can read a computer screen when you ask me my name your supposed to be looking for my online reservation and special requests.and that was to have my drinks at the table just simple liquor and coke and I never requested food particles just drinks when I got there.
Had lunch today. Lashan was a great server, very professional with knowledge of the menu. My husband had the grouper sandwich and I had the bib salad with lobster. Both were delicious. Will do it again on our next visit to the High
This is the perfect restaurant to come to in between shows and exhibitions. Every time I come, I'm greeted at the door with smiles. I usually tend to sit at the bar, where Matt, the bartender makes delicious cocktails and provides excellent service. He's quite a charm... Food is really good too, I like to order the deconstructed farro with blackened salmon or the mushroom toast. However, each time I go I try something different and leave satisfied. Make sure you give yourself enough time as it tends to take a bit of longer to come out, especially at rush hours.
Great wine selection! We came during Sunday brunch with no reservation and there were several events going on. They delivered on service, food was good (I had the arugala salad) and I'd dine again. Reservations are strongly encouraged.
Seated immediate and greated right away by our wait person. The drinks were good and the food to die for, I have never had a fish sandwich so delicious in my LIFE! Please never change your atmosphere or service because I'll be back!!!
Amazing place. Just across from the High Museum. Food is incredible. Service is great. The hostess/bar manager is fantastic. I had lamb chops and they were some of the best I have had in Atlanta.
