A colleague and I were looking for a local place for lunch. He had never tried island food and suggested A Taste of the Island. Great choice! We both had jerked chicken. The flavor was great, the portions are big and the staff was very friendly.

I was in Atlanta earlier this week and decided to stop here along with some friends. We all enjoyed the food and truly enjoyed ourselves! The workers were very friendly by making sure we were okay. I got the salmon, cabbage and rice which was very delicious so I’ll be returning the next time I go to

I tried to bring my homegirl in for her first experience and it was her first and last experience and mine also. Hated everything.And this music 😡😤. Even the Drink was flat.

This food truck was outside the liquor store and we decided hmm let’s give it a try! I so regret it. As pleasant as he was the food was not. OMG the curry chicken was dry and lacked any kind of flavor, the mac was so nasty with no flavor of any kind… I don’t even think the cheese on it had a taste!

Food is great 😌 but the the lady who takes orders is very rude and has a nasty attitude... Because I complained about a order. And the next time I went there she said said they were out of a specific items because it was me. Very unprofessional. Because of her I won't be eating there anymore . I won

Rudy is truly a talented chef and he brings back all my island memories. I have to get the snapper everytime. It's so good that it has my wife who is an amazing cook wanting to learn the recipe. Taste of the island is good for a quick trip back to the islands in spirit.

Been here a few times. Good fresh food every time and the service is nice. We haven’t experienced a long wait any of the times that we have been here. Just ordered again for lunch and I’m looking forward to another great Jamaican meal experience!
