The Best Thai Food ever. If you want to experience the real taste of Thai Food this is the place. I always feel like I'm back home in Thailand when I'm there.
This place is an awesome authentic Thai lunch spot! A great place for a quick and cheap meal. Very convenient for those working at Mayport.
I have never had a sit down meal at Simply Tasty Thai, but often drive down and get food to go, so when I was invited to dinner it was a go. Once inside and sitting down, it became evident how much I had missed. The interior is just this side of opulent, the very Zen like atmosphere, is created by lighting, and art work that adorn the walls.

Great Thai Food and Service. Ate here two years ago while visiting Jacksonville. The place was tiny and fantastic. Ate here again in February, and it was the same great food and service! Restaurant has expanded a little, and is quite a cozy place to eat. But I never judge a restaurant by looks -it's all about the food! Visited with the owner, who took time to visit with all of her customers. Male waiter gave great suggestions. LOVE it, and wish we lived closer!!

Fantastic Food. The wait staff is very friendly, the restaurant is very clean and the food portions generous and flavorful. The chili oil is blazingly HOT a little drop kicks a bowl of soup up a full notch. I plan to return.
Amazing thai even better filipino. Best of both worlds ! why not get drunken noodle then for dessert ube WHATS NOT TO LOVE. it may not be the best thai place but ill give it second best. affordable fun atmosphere and amazing Filipino food and thai, endless possibilities on the menu makes me want to keep coming back.

Awesome Food. This is the second time I have been there and have tried several different items, the Shrimp Pad Thai and Chicken Pancit Medium are perfect spice and heat wise. The flavors are amazing with each bite. I tried the Tom Yum Shrimp soup Medium, I would have gotten mild had I know the soup itself is pretty spicy to start with, all of the appetizers are amazing with each having there own dipping sauce that was special. The presentation for each dish was incredible and beautiful. I will definately keep going back.
Awesome food! There's nothing simple about the flavors! I've been to most of the Thai places around Jacksonville and have to say this place is my new go to for Thai.
Great Food, Great Price. If you like Thai food, this is a place you should try. I've been loving Thai food since my college years and as far as Thai restaurants go, its one of the better in Jacksonville. With the opening of their new dining room and a major redecorating, this places provides for a wonderful dining experience. Best of all, the prices are reasonable and the portion substantial. Definitely a place I'd recommend to anyone who love Thai food or is curious to try it. My favorites are their yellow and red curry dishes and their Pad Thai...very good. As with any Thai restaurant, if you're sensitive to hot food you'd better order it mild. If you order it hot it will be HOT!

Great find at the beach!. You wouldn't know it was here unless you were looking for it, but this hidden gem for Thai food was a surprise. I'm glad we chose it for lunch.
Authentic Thai food is hard to find, much less at a touristy spot. I've eaten at many Thai restaurants and this one measured up.
I had the Drunken Kee Mao noodles with Chang Thai beer. They also had some Filipino and Vietnamese dishes.
Excellent taste, good portions, friendly staff, good prices. Would definitely go again if I was in the mood for Thai food at the beach. How many times can you have fried fish, clams, and shrimp?
Excellent food and friendly people!. Simply Tasty Thai has become one of my favorite restaurants. I was never a big fan of Thai food, but when I tasted some of many dishes from this restaurant, I became a quick fan. They have just expanded and now the atmosphere endorses the great Thai cuisine. No matter what your favorite food may be, give Nancy and her staff the opportunity to make Thai your new favorite. The Filipino menu selections are prepared just as well as the Thai.

Amazing Experience. My family were first time Thai eater tonight. We were excited but nervous and clueless about what were were about to encounter. From the moment we sat down we were greeted and informed of menu items, ingredients etc..The entire staff was so kind, welcoming. The atmosphere was so quaint and lovely. The food was absolutely delish! I can't say enough about the entire dinner start to finish. We have found a new favorite and so many new menu items we are excited to try. Love this place!
This was my first time trying thai food and I am HOOKED. This was one of the best places I have ever eaten at, from the incredible service to the amazing food, do NOT let this hole in the wall slip by. Seriously do yourself a favor go here NOW!

Reasonably priced thai food at the beaches. Great to see high quality.reasonably priced thai food at the beaches.
My lunch date and I started with the thai spring roll appetizer (pictured). This dish was four very fresh, not greasy, fried spring rolls, with a crispy crunch to the casing and fresh vegetables inside.
Her dish was the chicken pad thai (pictured). It was a flavorful combination of sweet and spicy thai flavors.
My dish was the shrimp basil fried rice. The dish was substantially less sweet, but still delivered a great basil and thai heat flavor.
Both were very reasonably priced lunch menu items. This restaurant appears primarily geared to take-out, but has a smallish dining room, if you want your thai delivered to your table piping hot.
You can also enjoy beer and wine in the dining room that includes Singha Thai beer to further authenticate the thai experience.
My primary concern with so many of the great Thai restaurants to come and go at the beaches was the high prices for the area. This is simply not the case with Simply Tasty Thai. It is very reasonable priced for lunch, with at least enough leftovers for two more meals to take home, but still maintaining very high quality.
This should keep Simply Tasty Thai around for along time. A welcomed fixture at the beaches, now that Old Siam and The Thai Room are long gone.

Name says it all. This truly is simply tasty thai. I've been living in jacksonville most of my life and this place is on par with some of the best places i've ever eaten. the atmosphere and decor is nice but kind of crowded. service was prompt and friendly. I had the pad thai and it was delicious. it had the right amount of seasoning, spices and flavour that you can just tell is made from authentic and fresh ingredients. everything was fairly priced and great. I will be definitely returning and i hope it gets alot more attention.

Simply Delicious!. My boyfriend and I frequent Simply Tasty Thai. We're big-time foodies, and search all over for the best of the best. We believe Simply Tasty is the absolute best thai in the Jacksonville beaches area! The flavors are vibrant, the ingredients are fresh, the prices are very fair, and the service is excellent. You must try the Choo Chee Curry - it's to die for!
Tasty Thai Takeout. We stopped here and picked up a takeout menu when we were in the area. Small place, but looked clean and the staff was very welcoming. We called in a takeout order later that day (4 different dishes and a salad) and when we arrived to pick it up, they recognized us from our stop earlier that day.
You know how it is when you ordered several dishes from a thai restaurant and they all end up tasting similar? This was not like that. Each dish had a distinct flavor all its own. We tried 4 dishes and the standout was a tilapia dish that we all enjoyed. We ordered 4 dishes and a salad featured on their menu and it was plenty of food for 5 adults with a little leftover. We will definitely return for more tasty thai!
Go eat there today!. We love this place. They never forget who we are and are so friendly. I spoke with the owner last time and she said that their business has been slow due to less sailors at Mayport.
Seriously, don't let this place disappear. They are the most deserving of the title of Best Thai food in Jax.
Great Thai. We had a wonderful experience tonight. The food was great and the service as well. We watched the server run out into the parking lot to catch a customer before they left to return their cell phone. My favorite Thai spot at the beach.
Amazing thai food. This is probably my new favorite Thai place in Jax. Very friendly staff, very warm environment, very reasonably priced. I love everything about it.
Jewel in a strip mall. This is a wonderful find in Atlantic Beach near the Naval Exchange. The food was great, the atmosphere wonderful, and the owner and staff were very friendly and attentive. I had the Pad Thai and my 7 year old grand daughter ordere Chicken Satay. With one beverage, the total bill was less than $15. I will definitely return.
Excellent!. The food is great and I have been to a lot of Thai restaurants. The service was fast and pleasant and prices were reasonable. There were a lot of little touches like beautiful carved vegetable garnishes, cloth napkins, etc. that are surprising for a little place.

Exceptional, Authentic, with locally sourced, high quality ingredients!. They've got REAL Thai food here, not just Americanized things for palates with a fortified comfort zone - though they still have a few dishes for such sticks in the mud. Ingredients are either high quality or just not bought, period, and when in season produce like green beans squeak when you chew them! Nothing overcooked or frozen here when at all possible!
For beginners, try pad thai, panang curry, or green curry. If you want something more authentic, grab the pad see ew, shoo shee curry or khao soi.
Try things you haven't heard of, you can't go wrong! I eat Khao Soi all the time, which is pretty rare here in the states - especially Florida - though everything else I've ever tried was simply delicious. Dishes often keep whole ingredients when plated - galanga root, kaffir lime leaves, etc - which adds a nice touch of it being home made.
For extra flavor, ask for it to be made 'thick', making it more authentic and flavorful; they've taken to toning it down a bit for the odd unprepared person coming by to try it out. They ARE in Mayport, after all.
This has to be, by far, the best authentic Thai food I have ever eaten in the US. It's not an elaborate or swanky place but a small, thoughtfully decorated, homely hole in the wall. I have eaten Thai in NY, and been to many Thai restaurants in Jax and even visited Thailand (yet to establish my yard stick) In short, it's simply tasty Thai!!

I love this place and the owner is wonderful as well.. This is my favorite Thai. How novel to go to a Thai restaurant that is actually owned by a wonderful lady from Thailand, I love it. The food is consistently wonderful. I have never ate anything there that I wouldn't try again. The food is a marvelous value and made with quality ingredients that are fresh. Every Thai restaurant in the area could take a lesson from the food and the price. I don't care if the ambience isn't fancy, I want good food and I get that here in spades. I have no need to go anywhere else.
Great Food. I had the Cashew Nut Delight one day for lunch and absolutely loved it! I also had the Lumpia , it was ok, not sure I would get it again. But the main dish was delish! I will try new things next time I go.
This is amazing Thai food. The place is clean and everybody that works there are amazing people. I love eating here.
The best food in town!. When we started eating here it had only been open for 4 months. From the very first time we were hooked. The food and people are amazing. My children love going here and always get the Thai iced tea. It has been wonderful seeing how the place has grown and that some many people feel the same way we do about this restaurant. If you have not stopped in please do you will not be disappointed.

SIMPLY AMAZING. Heard about this restaurant through a friend. Looked it up and convinced husband to drive all the way to mayport (we live around Tinseltown).
Boy! Im glad we tried it. Food is simply amazing. They dont try to make it fancy, just the way it is. We had the Tom Yum Nam Koon which is a spicy, seafood soup with coconut milk and tons of ginger and chilies. We also had Green Curry.

So GOOD!!!. I went to this restaurant about a month ago and it was delicious. The food was sooooo good as well as well prepared and fresh. The service was fast and easy. All of our needs were met quickly. I ordered the Pad Thai and it was the best I have ever had. It was spicy though so make sure if you dont like REALLY spicy to say so. I will definitely be back to Simply Tasty Thai recommend it to everyone.

Simply The Best. If you want real, delicious Thai food, you'll have to check out Simply Tasty Thai. The name says it all. Nothing fancy or frilly about the place, just a pleasant atmosphere to enjoy some excellent Thai and Filipino faves. I'll be back often.

GREAT FOOD!!!. Pad Thai noodles are the best. We've been eating here since it first opened and I HIGHLY recommend it. Thai tea is the best. You should have it with noodle soup or a plate of fried rice.

Best Thai in Jax!!. Wish this place was around when I lived here, but glad to have had opportunity to try this truly tasty Thai cuisine...two visits in three days. Nancy, the owner, was truly enthusiastic to offer an authentic Thai experience. Had the Pad Thai both visits, which is some of the best I have had ANYWHERE! Try it Thai Hot if you dare. Simply awesome. Incredible authentic Thai food in an unpretentious setting. If you are a fan of Thai food you would be doing yourself a disservice by not trying this new restaurant. Authenticity over atmosphere triumphs in this setting with a price to match.
Patty. I absolutely love this place and i love the owner and staff. the tom kai gai is to die for. other particular favorites include the chicken panang curry, the satay, the dish called "peanut sauce". there isn't a dish yet that i didn't like. please support this restaurant and help keep this little treasure at the beach!
Good Thai food !. The food here was very very good. I had the best yellow curry with chicken, its sweet and spicey (depending on how spicey you like it). It has chicken, onions, and potatoes in it.

Pad thai...the best ever. I love pad thai from this thai restaurant and I am Thai people ..I really like cause ..athentin thai ..I can tell ...yummy ..and doesn't expensive even i ordered extra shrimp...and love thai tea also...you need to try it..thank you ...simply tasty thai..
Real thai food. I love the Thai tea...very different from normal sweet tea. Cold airconditioning (I think it was recently fixed). Very spicy food but I've seen many people ask for mild. Two thumbs up!
Simply Tasty Thai offers both Thai and Filipino favorites, and I noticed on this visit that they have added a few Asian restaurant staples such as Gyoza and Crab Rangoon to the menu. We couldn't resist trying a few - including the Spring Rolls, which my sister proclaimed were the best she'd ever tasted.
