Arnell greeted us with a warm smile and enthusiastic “you’re gonna love our happy hour menu” and that we did! We ordered calamari, fried polenta and this delish eggplant burrata crostini (all pictured). The red wine on happy hour was perfect, and the service and attention to detail really was a great way for us to finish our amazing weekend away. Will definitely be back!
I am convinced the 3.6 rating is from the previous restaurant that was here and they just took over the Google page. The gnocchi PHENOMENAL. The pasta con shrimp alla vodka PHENOMENAL. The polenta croutons in the Caesar salad TO DIE FOR. Alejandra, our waitress was gracious and amazing - as well as the rest of the wait staff (Jahir). This restaurant occupies the old Matoranos (sp. ?)restaurant site in Harrah’s Casino Atlantic City. We, a party of six, had reservations for an early dinner and were promptly greeted and seated in a back alcove table suitable for a group our size. The menu was not large but covered all the basic Italian standards as well as some unique takes on seafood and appetizers. We had a variety of entres as well aa the soup of the day and the calamari shared appetizer. Our entres were very large and could be split with a shared appetizer between two people as a full meal for two. All were good to very good with the flounder special and the scallops with risotto as standouts. The orecchiette with sausage was a little dry and a little too al denté but was acceptable. Prices were high but service was very good and noise level was low enough to allow normal conversation. Overall a pleasant dining experience and we give it four clams on the coveted Five Quahog Rating Scale.
Been here a few times. The pasta is as they describe it “crunchy”. The steak is also okay I ordered well done and it was basically burnt. After a certain hour they blast the music pretty loud so it’s hard to have a conversation. The dessert is really good!

Our server Eli was phenomenal. His customer service he provides is at a high standard. His skill and attributes are above all. He is the epitome of a quality server and he should lead by example to other employees .
Overall we enjoyed our time here and I highly recommend this establishment.

Octopus was fantastic
We had a great meal here. Food was delicious, service was outstanding. We had an early dinner with 2 toddlers. Alejandra was so friendly from the beginning. She went out of her way to make our evening go smoothly even while the 2 kiddos were losing it. Jeofrre was also amazing and friendly with the kids. I don't know why you have my daughter's name. My name is Anthony. This is the second time that I went to La Strada. I was not happy the first time that I went because of small portions and stale bread. This time, Oct. 23 , was much better and the staff was great. I stay at Harrah's, and I would rather eat there than travel. Thank you.
Alejandra was so accommodating and personable. The ambiance was romantic. Caesar salad was served with warm house-made croutons and it was so delicious. My filet was perfectly cooked and my date loved their lasagna. We will be back and we will request to sit with Alejandra again.
This is a newly renovated restaurant that opened where Martorano's used to be.
Very traditional Italian restaurant, old school vibes. Can't go wrong with their garlic bread, some foccacio, and a plate of pasta.
Their sea food was delicious as well. It gets busy in the evening but worth a try if you're digging something actually fancier than Olive Garden. Service was nice as well!
My second time here and always good food and good service. I tried the spicy rigatoni dish it was outstanding and my girl friend tried the lobster francaise which was also very good. We also enjoyed watching Goodfellas on the tv’s lol.
We definetly had a great experience dining here. It was our first time and we def will be back. I dont eat much pasta at all but we definetly fell in love dining here. I enjoyed my pasta because it wasnt overcooked like most restaurants would do. They cook it just perfectly right. Our server was great and the place is beautiful to dine in. Love it all.
Fabulous place, the best Italian food on the planet. Anybody who doesn't love this place can't stand letting go of a dollar. A truly great dining experience.
